Arrangement: apartments are in a convenient place: to the center of Hersonissos 10 minutes down the slope. Quite close to the village of Koutouloufari. We rented a car so we drove around the island with no problem. Our room had two balconies. These are wonderful memories - breakfast with a sea view. The owner is wonderful.

Being multiple users of all-inclusive, this vacation in Crete was looking for a different vacation - silence, relative desertion, proximity to the sea, which we found in this hotel, located on the outskirts of Hersonissos towards Malia.
The hotel is small with 12 rooms, with accommodation for 2-5 people in 1-2-room apartments, each room with its own separate entrance and its own balcony (s). So there is no excess of communication here, which you don’t want at all after the metropolis. All balconies overlook the sea, so you can enjoy the sound of the surf and the smell of the sea at any time of the day, which is 50 meters away. The hotel stands apart, the nearest neighbors are at a distance of 200-250 meters, which creates the desired peace and quiet. However, if you decide to eat in a cafe or restaurant - a 10-15 minute walk and your choice of a dozen taverns offering all the delights of Mediterranean cuisine. We were not bothered at all by the lack of breakfasts or other meals at the hotel. within 15 minutes there is a supermarket with all the necessary food. And in Hersonissos itself there is a SPAR supermarket with an excellent selection of all kinds of products at affordable prices (excellent fresh meat - 4-7 euro kg, sweet watermelons for 0.9 euro kg, etc. ). Of course, the set of kitchen utensils is minimal, but it makes it possible to prepare breakfast or lunch without any problems.
The hotel has its own small swimming pool with Jacuzzi area. Right in front of the hotel there is a small sandy beach with excellent access to the sea. The beach itself is state-owned and free (most importantly, clean! ), but if you decide to use the sunbeds and umbrellas that are offered here, you will have to pay 3 and 2 euros / day, respectively. Beautiful rocks jut out into the sea, in which a variety of beautiful fish are found, and in the evenings tourists can be seen stopping to take pictures against the backdrop of a beautiful landscape. It is generally superfluous to talk about the weather - the sea is 20-21 degrees, the children could not be pulled out of the sea, the breeze did not create a feeling of heat. In general, I liked everything! !
