Lunch and dinner on coupons, everything is determined, no choice. As an aperitif, fresh vegetable salads, tasty, ordinary, this is the only plus. Soups (borscht, pea, chicken) are not very rich, sweet. For the second time for the entire stay at the hotel, for lunch and dinner, rice and buckwheat were served, only 2 times there were sticky pasta and 1 time potatoes. The meat component is also not very diverse, mostly chicken, baked or brizol, a couple of times there were meat cutlets, with a strange too soft texture. Once a fish. Dry, the same as buckwheat. Each meal is served the same compote.
The hotel area is clean, all in roses and greenery, beautiful. From the room you can see the sea, mountains and unfinished, apparently, hotels. We got to the cold time, the beginning of June, the sea is cold, the pool is cold, there was practically no sun, it rained periodically.
Embankment territory from the USSR, bad road. To the sea to go 5 minutes, but on a clay-concrete road. When it rains, you can’t reach the sea and the embankment, the road is washed out and a huge amount of clay sticks to the shoes, which is quite difficult to wash off. Children's animation every 2 days, 2 hours in the evening. There is a playground on the territory, there are no other entertainments for children. In general, apart from the territory of the hotel, there are very few pluses. It is strange that people write that the food here is like in many hotels in Turkey. This canteen cannot be compared with food in Turkey. At least there is some choice that is not here. And the money is far from cheap!
The room is clean. The linen is clean. The beds are made and ready to receive guests. There is a kettle and a set of glasses in the room. There is a refrigerator and TV. Everything is working. There is a safe. The air conditioner does its job for 5+. There are minor flaws in plumbing, but these are the diseases of all hotels where there is high traffic. The most important thing that surprised me was the amazing soundproofing of the room. I haven't seen this in a hotel in a long time. The room has a large window that opens for the evening coolness. In August we slept without air conditioning.
The hotel is located very well at a slight distance from the embankment, which implies the absence of noise. There is animation for children, which works quite clearly and every day. The swimming pool on site is cleaned every morning by specialists. There are sun loungers and awnings. The breakfasts are good enough. For lunch and dinner, you can have a good meal and enjoy Crimean wine from the menu or "complex".
The food at the hotel (we were on full board) was quite satisfactory. Every day a new menu, which was repeated every other week. We rested for two weeks and there were no complaints about the quality of food.
Cons: lived in a junior suite. I don't know why they named it that. A primitive room with ordinary furniture, cheap plumbing, cheap wall lamps and a TV on the bedside table. What is the standard number then? Also smoky and with a persistent smell of fume. Horror.
By the way, the hotel's wifi is very weak, I caught a clear signal from the neighboring hotel.
Meals: there is a complex, there is a menu (this is a restaurant). But....Cooking is completely tasteless, portions are small. Also some strange coupon system. Horror. Far from the nearest cafes. We are not picky at all, but the food leaves much to be desired. I read the previous reviews and am surprised. I don’t know how it was in past years, but the food in June 18 is completely bad.
So keep this in mind, if you like delicious food, then you definitely do not come here. In order not to change the hotel after 2 days, as happened with us. We did not regret the replacement at all, but were only completely delighted, but that's another story.
Spacious clean rooms, crisp white linen.
Friendly staff. A hearty delicious breakfast.
Territory, pool-class!
The sea and entertainment in Koktebel are within easy reach!
Thanks Narlen!
We recommend to everyone!
Anatoly and company.
There was really one minus, when I booked this hotel, I sent a letter to the hotel mail asking if there were free rooms, they answered me that there were only junior suites, although the booking. com website informed me that there were also standard rooms. I booked the room through booking. com.
