Settlement of bags at 14-00 and not earlier. If you come on your own, you can settle earlier and even upgrade to a villa.
2 people speak English, everything else - yes, no, tomorrow for any of your questions)) Wi-fi is everywhere and for free. Breakfasts are eaten. Rice, noodles, eggs, cereal, vegetables. From fruits pineapple, watermelon and papaya. If something is over, they will not bring it until you ask. If you ask, they immediately add))
The beach is gorgeous, there are no people, you can always find a shadow. There are not enough sunbeds by the pool for everyone, that's a fact.
The rooms are modest, flat TV and a refrigerator, the furniture is about to fall apart, but there is almost none in the room, you can not bathe)) The air conditioner turns on by itself at night.
Once a day at 11 a minibus goes to supermarkets, at 11-40 everyone is lucky back.
You can’t get out of the hotel anywhere, a taxi to the airport (5 km, 10 min. ) - 15 bucks one way, and if it’s to civilization in the south, then everything will be 40.
I must say right away that I really liked the hotel, but there are nuances.
Firstly, there is no infrastructure around, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest civilization.
5 minutes walk to the beach, Mai Khao beach. The beach is in the public domain.
Beach towels are provided by the hotel.
Types of meals at the hotel breakfast, breakfast + dinner, breakfast + lunch + dinner.
Wi-fi is free everywhere.
There is a 500 baht round-trip shuttle on Wednesdays to Patong, on Sundays to the night market.
We examined the Deluxe pool access room: the room is like a room, there is no mini-bar, but there is a bathrobe, slippers, umbrellas. Water, tea coffee bp every day. Some rooms have a shower, some have a bathtub.
The hotel itself is such a green tropical paradise, in which it will not be boring only for either lovers or people who are very tired of society, who know how to entertain themselves.
Service.
The staff is friendly like most Thais, speaks excellent English. Any request will be granted. The restaurant is located by the sea, so an amazing atmosphere is created and breakfasts are very pleasant. Despite the fact that breakfast is a buffet, tables are served: coffee is always poured, dirty dishes are taken away instantly. A pleasant lounge sounds around the clock in the lobby, bar and restaurant. The room is cleaned daily.
In general, the service is excellent.
Territory
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, large enough and beautiful. Since the hotel is located in a protected area and the elite beach of Mai Khao, the garden is full of rare species of plants: palms, mangoes, flowers and other beauty. And some beautiful birds and a lot of geckos live there.
The hotel has three pretty good swimming pools. The middle one, or the second one from the reception, is located between two buildings, 2 and 3. It has a jacuzzi and a more pleasant area around. Of the three buildings, I advise you to stay in 2 - the most comfortable rooms. We lived in it, on the 4th floor, and had a balcony overlooking the wonderful territory and the beautiful sea.
There is also a spa on site. Go boldly. Reasonable prices, great massage.
Rooms
The rooms are very good by Thai standards. The refurbishment is not the newest, but quite to itself. Our room had a large double bed, plus a regular single bed, although the room was only booked for two. There was also a refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, sofa, table, plasma, wardrobe, lockers, shelves, a huge mirror with a large and spacious dressing table. There was a wooden table and wooden chairs on the balcony. Towels were changed daily, water, tea, coffee and bathroom amenities (excellent quality, by the way) were reported daily. San. node without any complaints. We had a bathroom and shower.
Slippers and bathrobes are a nice bonus.
Beach.
Access to the beach directly from the restaurant through the last third pool. The coast is steep. The sand is clean and yellow, not white like on most of the island's beaches. Tiny crabs run across the sand.
About sunbeds. They were. A whole bunch, and even with umbrellas. Like this! Although I didn’t see the point in them, since the hotel pool with sunbeds is right on the shore.
You can take a shower and take a towel near the pool.
Infrastructure.
But here everything is not very good. But quite bearable.
There are only 3 cafes near the hotel. The first is outside the territory near the Holiday Inn, there is also a tiny market (but there is still a choice of fruits and clothes). This cafe is the most budgetary, authentic, with delicious food, large portions and low prices. We just liked it.
The other two are located close to the hotel. If you go to the beach through the last hotel pool, then to the right is an Englishman's cafe, to the left is some more. You can still walk along the coast and go to any hotels. It is allowed. Also at some distance, but within reach, there are other cafes. You just need to walk further. And you can also go to a seafood restaurant on the coast of Khao Lak. I have never tried such incomparable seafood in all of Thailand.
Close to the hotel there is a minimart shop. There are essentials and a minimum set of food and alcohol. There are even souvenirs.
Get to Phuket Town or Patong only by taxi, which you call from the reception. A taxi costs 1200. This price includes: round-trip and 4-hour wait (I don’t remember exactly). If you travel together to someone from the hotel, it's very cheap. Such prices for taxis throughout Phuket. And there is no public transport, such as tuk-tuks like in Pattaya.
Nearby is the Khao Lak nature reserve. This is a plus if you buy an excursion there, as the trip will not be so tiring. A trip to Khao Lak is a must.
In general, rest in this hotel is pleasant and comfortable. The real relaxation. What you need for relaxation. But if you need noisy hangouts and parties, you definitely need to go to another coast.
about the beach, before the trip I read different reviews, and that it was dirty and that it was clean, not true, the beach turned out to be clean, but "wild", it's just a beach, without sunbeds, service and other joys that most tourists want. this fact did not upset us very much, because the absence of crowds of tourists and the shady beach with its trees suited us completely. the hotel also has 3 swimming pools, also almost always empty.
about the room and the cleaning in it, we got the room of average wear and tear, so to speak, in the second building, on the third floor. there were no special complaints about the room, we basically only spent the night there. cleaners were left 100 baht daily, but at the same time they often forgot to put something in, from shampoo to toilet paper)) all rooms overlook the pool, but it seems to me a dubious pleasure to live on the 1st floor with access to the pool, otherwise we would Every evening was entertained by bored guests of this hotel.
I even find it difficult to say which category of vacationers could recommend this hotel, neither to the elderly, nor to families with children, nor to young people. if they improved the situation with the restaurant or if there were more alternatives in this regard, then this hotel could be recommended to lovers of a relaxing holiday, but not yet. although the beach is pretty good when compared with dirty patong))
