I was also very pleased with the beach, equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, an employee who is ready to help guests all day long: remove or put an umbrella, etc. But the most important thing is that all this is included in the price.
Good cuisine, breakfast, lunch and almost always dinner, everything was delicious and varied.
As for the place itself: this is a place for a family vacation, quiet, calm, measured. A small promenade, several restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, bars, but everyone observes the working hours and the night is quiet and graceful, no one interferes with sleep.
All in all, we recommend it to everyone and we will definitely be back.

Our number 301 (3rd floor, south junior suite). The room was exactly as advertised on the internet. Cleanliness, new furniture, pleasant colors of the interior, there is even a dressing table with a mirror, "a la boudoir". Bathroom with shower, hairdryer in the room. On the floor carpet. Balcony with table and chairs and flowering petunias. The view from the room is the sea with the beach almost at my feet, it was stormy for several days, and the sound of the waves at night was unusual for me. The hotel has a spiral staircase, which is not convenient for the elderly and children. Yes, there are countless stairs in Santa Barbara, steps are just everywhere in the Cliff, that's my impression! Well, for us, the steps are not a problem. The kitchen is located on the 6th floor, with all the bells and whistles: dishes, a kettle, a refrigerator (there are refrigerators in the rooms), a microwave oven, a coffee pot, etc. Everywhere they wash and clean, not a mote! There is also a large terrace with tables for those wishing to admire the sea at the very top. Beach own, in front of the hotel, concrete buns. There is also a part on the pebbly side with "dream" sunbeds.
I will especially note the issue of nutrition. Payment includes breakfast, so I'm pleasantly surprised! The dining room is located in the “Dream”, which is on the 2nd line, there are 2 ladies, in culinary uniforms, hair tucked under starched caps, hands without rings, clean from and to! In that SES canteen you can take flushes, such cleanliness! They cook deliciously, the portions are large, sometimes they took away with them what they could not eat. If you do not eat porridge, they will replace it with something alternative. For example, I changed pancakes , my friend-porridge for cheesecakes. This is no problem. Everything is very tasty and just cooked, lazy dumplings took me at the time of my childhood! You can order lunch and dinner, for a fee, lunch costs 60 UAH. They did this a couple of times, the food is ordinary and, again, everything is freshly prepared. But it is not very convenient to be tied to time. Many times we dined and dined in the "Atlantic", there are very tasty restaurant dishes!
Of the minuses: the bed turned out to be soft for me, on the sofa (there is a double hard sofa in the room) is also not very comfortable. But this is purely individual. The steps up to the park are very steep, often a metal rod as a railing. If you are leaving home by minibus, then please be 150-200 meters up with a suitcase and take the stairs to the stop, the pleasure is below average. The hotel is really very comfortable, the room has everything you need and the staff is friendly, the only negative is probably the spiral staircase (in Mechta-3 - I don’t know in others) and it was hard for older people to climb it. The cooks fed normally, the only thing, as for me, is very early dinner time 17.30-18.30. Another advantage is its own beach, although it caused the most negative emotions. To swim, you need to buy special slippers - without them, you will feel unpleasant, and if there is a storm, then you are guaranteed bruises (at least). 1 umbrella was put on the room, but for some reason 1 umbrella was put on 3 sunbeds and you had to call the administrator or director to get what you needed, because it was hard to get something from the lifeguard (Denis), he usually left in English or even worse - rude. There is no dressing room on the beach, in principle it is not on other beaches either. . How the Utyos resort disappointed me - the embankment is a continuous parking lot, there are no benches, cars are constantly driving - this is annoying (it’s not clear why then the barrier? ), those who live near the treatment plant have to inhale "aromas", there is nowhere for children to play (I think with children in Utes the best is not to go at all - they will play right on the pavement), you need to lead them to the territory of the Utyos sanatorium. Will I come to Utyos again - definitely not.

The embankment is excellent, although when we went only on vacation, we were a little afraid to see the ruins after a winter storm, but everything is very well maintained. We really liked it, the sea is super, clean and warm!! ! I recommend Dream to everyone - you will not regret it)

The sea is warm and clean. Rested the class.

But the main advantage was that each room is supposed to have two sun loungers and an umbrella. When other hotels do not particularly care about this one, this is important, because on vacation you don’t want to get up at 5 in the morning and run to lay a towel. I read in the reviews that people complain about the smell of sewerage, we didn’t feel the smell, and I also note that a grandiose construction site was launched there and, as the hotel administrators told us, by next year there will be new high-tech honors and the smell from this paradise will disappear forever. As for the food, everything suited us, during our vacation, we did not feel any discomfort, and in the summer it seems to me that this is the most important thing !! ! Of course, I was surprised by this whole "town" with its narrow streets and with a minimum of vegetation. We chose the hotel for a short time, because it was the "high" season and many hotels were busy. We were lucky, just on the day of our arrival, a room in Mechta-2 was vacated. I can say that the quality is fully consistent with the money that we gave. We understood that we had come to rest not in Europe and not in a 4-5 star hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised. Nice staff, clean cozy courtyard, good rooms, clean linen, regular cleaning. As for food, of course, not for everybody. Very similar to homemade food. But, if someone is not satisfied with the food in the Dream, then you can eat on your own, there are many different establishments on the waterfront. Regarding the beach, as far as I remember, we always had a semblance of an anthill, so I think complaints are not appropriate here, and if you want to lie on a sun lounger under an umbrella and drink a cocktail, then you should choose hotels of a much higher category.
So, in general, I liked everything. Conditions were no more and no less than expected. Quiet, peaceful place, ideal for families with children or couples who want to retire from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Linen was changed every 3 days. The sheet on the silk mattress does not hold. Kitchen with a terrace, on which there are tables and clothes are constantly dried above them. The beach is small - very large pebbles in the water and rubble on the shore. On the beach, our people smoke and bullshit into rubble, while everything is tight to each other. And the biggest "Joy" is the stink from the sewage treatment plants from the evening and all night. Therefore, you are happy to wait when the barbecues are lit and the smoke of the fire will save the situation. Barbecues on the shore are the hallmark of the evening. Prices and menus in cafes and restaurants are European, which cannot be said about the quality. What pleased - cleanliness. While the urn to find this happiness. So decide if you need such a rest, and most importantly, is it worth it?
