It would be possible to say that everything is fine, if not for some "buts"... The hotel is not at all 300 meters from the sea, but at least 700. The road to the sea is almost not annoying (because it’s from a hill), but the terrible stench from the trash cans that stand next to the hotel spoils the impression of the freshness of the morning or evening.

The hotel is not at all 300 meters from the sea, but at least 700. The road to the sea is almost not annoying (because it’s from a hill), but the terrible stench from the trash cans that stand next to the hotel spoils the impression of the freshness of the morning or evening.
From the sea to the hotel you will have to climb a rather steep hill. The heat is tiring.
The beach is sandy, but it did not differ in perfect cleanliness, even in the paid zone. In addition, large stones at the entrance to the water were very disturbing. These are not round pebbles, but sharp large stones.
We got a room with windows overlooking the park and the road. And it turned out not bad, because the trees protected from the sun. Sometimes buses passed, but this noise is a common thing for residents of megacities. Didn't interfere.
Room cleaning is another story. Dust from bedside tables, lamps, tables, TV, it seems, is not wiped for months. Even for a tip.
Check-in at the hotel from 14.00. Therefore, those who arrive in the morning are entitled to only dinner from meals (it is here from 18 to 20-30).
The food is monotonous. It is a pity that there were no dishes of the Bulgarian national cuisine. Eggs for breakfast for 2 weeks tired. Of the fish, there was only mackerel 3 times. We must pay tribute - delicious.
From fruits - watermelon, apples, plums, peaches appeared 2 times.
The staff in the dining room (I can’t call it a restaurant) is excellent, they keep it clean, everything was cleaned instantly.
Ice cream at the pool bar is free for children under 14 only. For the rest - 2 leva.
Coffee, tea for free for breakfast and from 15 to 17
From 11 to 23 in the bar you can take free beer, wine, but... if you want to drink from glassware, you will have to pay extra. Free - in plastic cups. We did not see the pool lighting during our stay there.
Wi-Fi is free only on the first floor, the signal is weak. Even on the coast, at the exchanger "Admiral" is much more stable. There is a currency exchange at the hotel, but during our stay it never worked.
Separately, about prices in Golden Sands. For comparison, grapes in Varna cost 1.5-2 leva, in Golden Sands - 5-6.
Average. We won't go a second time.

We chose the hotel based on the photo (I really liked the night lighting of the pool and a fairly large and well-groomed green area), plus the agency manager recommended it. They settled quickly in a room overlooking the pool - by the way, this is much better than the view of the road, along which rumbling buses with tourists pass every now and then.

They settled quickly in a room overlooking the pool - by the way, this is much better than the view of the road, along which rumbling buses with tourists pass every now and then. Later it turned out that the air conditioner in the room worked very poorly, but after reporting this to the reception, it was repaired the next day.
Wi-Fi only in the lobby.
The food, in principle, is not bad - breakfasts typical for Bulgaria with eggs in all variations, cheeses, sausages (not the best ones, really). Something was wrong with the soups - not a single delicious first course for the whole holiday. Delicious grilled mackerel! It is a pity that there were very few dishes from the local cuisine. Never left hungry.
The rooms were cleaned every day, nothing was missing from the room.
Of the shortcomings (but not the fault of the hotel) - next door is a noisy youth hotel with nightly discos a couple of times a week.
Far from the sea - to the sea is still normal, but back - a fairly steep climb.
The swimming pool near the hotel is very well located - there is an opportunity to be both in the shade of trees and in the sun. I was especially pleased that the children's section of the pool in the very sun, when it was no longer possible to be at the sea, was just in the shade of the trees.

We rested in Bulgaria 2 times and were very satisfied! The hotel is good, the rooms are large. The food was good and varied! We took all inclusive (drinks only beer and local wine). The hotel is located in the forest zone. The only negative is far from the sea, but I liked everything ! I advise those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday.
