And when our dryer (one for our two rooms) was occupied by someone else, the concierge told us: “There are enough dryers, sort it out yourself! ”

At the age of two years, the child needs a varied and healthy food. Not fried and not greasy. I understand that it is not popular among the average vacationer, but you can’t order it from the menu in a restaurant either.
I had to order cutlets for a couple, paying for a Kiev cutlet. And a salad without spices for Greek. Well, add 30-50 UAH. chef for a favor.

In general, below are the reasons why we will never go to the Gold Coast again! I will sign two options so that everything about this place is clear and briefly, and in all colors : )
Now briefly, just a few words. And a little lower - for each item with emotions.
1. Our check-in was postponed for two days. Before check-in, they called to say that we would come later.
2. The process of settling in is a pain. Vouchers that need to be brought “where necessary”, payment only in cash, no one is in a hurry.
3. Lived on the fourth floor without an elevator with a pregnant wife, two-year-old child and wife's mother.
4. Kettle, clothes dryer and more - everything is in common, you need to go to the very bottom to get boiled water for tea.
5. There was no food for the child even in the restaurant, we had to ask the cook for an extra charge to cook something for us for children.
6. An uncomfortable mode in the dining room, while you need to put the child to bed, your food will stand and cool. Your plate will be set at 1:20 sharp.
7. The roller shower door in the bathroom just wouldn't close.
8. When we needed medical help for a child, there was no one in their first-aid post. They work until 17:00.
9. Smart guests take up parking spaces with bottles of water.
10. Cleaning in the room only on request, you need to go down and give the key to the room.

In general, we left there with pleasure, because from such a vacation I wanted to have a normal rest at home : ) And now I will try to add a couple of details for each item.
1. Check-in was postponed for two days.
I have absolutely no idea how this could be done! No, well, I understand that people can make mistakes, that anything can happen. But I don't have to figure out where I can spend two days after my arrival in the city!
It's good that in another hotel, not on the spit, we managed to book rooms. But why do we need all this? We made an advance payment in early May, rested in early August. Why can't you just take it and not ruin everything? : )
There were half-empty rooms, but a little more expensive. That's what, it was impossible to settle us somewhere for two days? Or do people with childhood from the Soviet Union not understand that we are not used to suffering all our lives? )
This is generally a fat minus in our holiday. Firstly, no one apologized during our stay. Secondly, there were a bunch of other inconveniences from which we were shocked.

Settling is a separate quest on the Gold Coast, reminiscent of greetings from the Soviet Union. When we asked on the phone if we would have dinner (if we arrive two hours before it starts), we were told: “You won’t have time, you need to take the ticket to the dining room in advance” : ))
Plus, they only accept cash. You take out a pack of banknotes, and of all the “women” at the reception, two are “busy”, and the third complains that too much cash passes through their hands. We have to wait until 10-20 thousand UAH. each guest will be manually counted at least a couple of times. This is exactly what you want to do after a six-hour road with a small child!
3. Settled on the fourth floor.
Okay, it doesn't really matter to me. But a pregnant woman, an elderly woman and a small child have to walk up and down seven times every day? ! It would be worthwhile to warn about such things before check-in, and not in the building in which we brought the check-in ticket!
And in the building the concierge has nothing to do with it, because he does not lodge. And at the reception they can’t help us with anything, because “there are no places”. We wanted to immediately leave for another hotel despite the prepayment, but during the season in Berdyansk we couldn’t quickly find something suitable.
4. Everything in common.
With kettles, dryers, sun loungers and all that - a different story. Okay, the sun loungers on the beach have been occupied with towels since last week. But the common kettle for 50 rooms is the result of hard creative work. Probably wanted to save on electricity ; )
And when our dryer (one for our two rooms) was occupied by someone else, the concierge told us: “There are enough dryers, sort it out yourself! ”
5. There was no suitable food for the child.
At the age of two years, the child needs a varied and healthy food. Not fried and not greasy. I understand that it is not popular among the average vacationer, but you can’t order it from the menu in a restaurant either.
I had to order cutlets for a couple, paying for a Kiev cutlet. And a salad without spices for Greek. Well, add 30-50 UAH. chef for a favor.
6. Inconvenient dining mode.
Food was served at 9:20.13:20 and 18:20. We wake up around 6 am. And we still do not understand who this regime is for. For those who like to get up late in the morning, or go to bed earlier in the evening?
It was not possible to come even a little later or a little earlier. You come in advance - running workers look askance at you, because another hall is being serviced now, “and you came here. ” If you come later - either everything will have cooled down, or the dining room will already be closed. If this time also falls on the sleep time of a child with whom someone has to stay, everything becomes quite uncomfortable.
7. The shower door didn't work.
Nobody cares. Adjacent rooms had many similar room issues.
8. Couldn't get medical help.
There are many coniferous plants on the territory, which dilutes the landscape well and gives pleasant air. But, along with several fountains, it attracts a large number of insects. Especially - some unrealistically painful biting mosquitoes.
When the baby had three-centimeter blisters on his legs, we wanted to consult with the workers of the first-aid post about what we should do with them, but no one was there. Their working day ends at 5:00
9. Parking spaces are occupied by eggplants.
Oh, and this story is about busy parking spaces! The parking lot is in the open air, so people get creative, put five-liter eggplants in their parking spaces in the shade and leave for the city.
And this ticket must be carried with you at all times. Decorative guards won't let you through without it. And they won't let you out during the trip. Although on the other hand, from the beach, there is free entry and no gates.

Three years ago we understood what we were paying such money for in Berdyansk. Now the log house has risen in price by 150%, Deluxe by 60%. At the same time giving more than 1000u. i. e. for 10 days of rest, I can invite friends from a neighboring camp site, only with a reserved table in the ZB restaurant. All children and sitting in a restaurant simply do not have the patience. Yes, and the prices for alcohol are more than cosmic (A bottle of Finland is 1100 UAH, at a market value of 250 UAH), the kitchen is simply very expensive. The administration simply advised me to visit friends, Parking. The car is parked in a clearing near a stinking trash can, among broken dishes and other rubbish. (Yes, and it's forgivable. It's worth it and it's worth it). The beach was fenced off, now the view from the log house, which we book a year in advance, is a fence. The beach is dirty. Everywhere there are glasses, cigarette butts, gaskets. I understand that it is clean where they do not litter. But business is conducted in Ukraine and a lot of rednecks come. Even in Turkey, the beaches are being cleaned, and you can already relax cheaper or somewhere the same. Two or three years ago, sellers of corn and other nonsense were driven and there was silence on the beach. The child could sleep freely. Now, a girl with a loudspeaker has been added to everything, who invites everyone to a banana. That is, they did roll down to Berdyansk and Kirillovka. Dining room. You prepay the canteen for three days. The price is quite adequate 350 UAH. But you can't even choose from a couple of dishes. That is, if you do not like some kind of porridge or borscht, pay and go look for where to eat. Although, to be fair, the food is delicious. But there are also dishes that you can, in principle, not love. On this vacation, the constant noisy work of a grinder or a lawn mower was added during the daytime sleep. ZB positions itself as a family institution, while you have to constantly walk and swear. I am sure that the review will not be posted, but at least they will read it themselves. To date, the price does not match the quality. . Although this is probably the best hostel on the spit. It's just that high expectations are shattered by the Ukrainian understanding of quality.

But when we talked to the administrator, she told us that the sun loungers are paid, we almost fell, because everywhere at the bases of this level this already includes the service, (especially since they are without mattresses). When we arrived, we got into a storm, honestly - it’s better not to come on such days, there’s nothing to do here, you can’t count on the pool, since there can be a lot of people. We decided to go to the gym, guys, ATTENTION! 70 UAH PER HOUR!!! not in a DAY Everyone understands that a full workout takes 1.5 - 2 hours. And that only for the gym 280 UAH. This is the first time we have encountered such a thing that you have to pay for the gym, and even not per day, but per hour. (service should include: a gym, a swimming pool, a deck chair with a MATTRESS, a kettle in the room, a refrigerator). And blankets are FIRE in general, old hackneyed, over the years and the smell of old age, (prickly as in camps or you can see such grandmothers) MATTRESSES are generally a separate issue! On the 1st day we were happy with the orthopedic mattress, but on the third day our whole body hurts from it. You have to look for something good in everything. so that's what I found for myself: in our room there was a good, big shower, the room was clean as it should be. Thanks for the wifi.

We went to eat, returned an hour later and the answer was the same, he didn’t know anything, after 15 minutes the cleaning lady came running and said that she would just start cleaning. In general, at 16.00 we still got into the room. In the room: the floor turned out to be dirty, the bed creaked terribly, the blankets were dirty, sand and someone's hair poured from them, the door to the bathroom was broken and did not close at all, the towel dryer was twisted and the trash can was completely rusty. And all this in a room for 1500 UAH (Deluxe category). The staff is rude and not at all friendly. In general, if you want to spoil your mood and rest for a lot of money, then you are here.

We approached the director, explained the reason, he said that there were many like us, and that he should be in our position (it was a visit to the republican specialist in the child's immunologist), and offered to set a penalty for the doctor. The staff is rude from the security guards to the dining room. Special thanks to the administrator of our building Margarita tried to somehow smooth the situation during the settlement. The building has been recently refurbished. Standard room, I understand, mold in the shower, on the curtain with us des. means removed the curtain - replaced. Pillows are dark feather and dirty, smelly (replaced with more or less synthetic ones), it was good for the child to take his pillow. Mattress covers in spots, mesh on the window in holes, where not only mosquitoes crawl through..... tin. It was impossible to eat there. All food is salted like brine, vinegar salads are not the first freshness, this is the norm, and most importantly, upon arrival, they forced me to buy food for 3 days without seeing the menu, and on subsequent days the menu could be seen for the day only in the morning. Dishes are chipped. The menu is made for pigs in order to fill their stomachs. The cooks there don't know about proper nutrition. (Prices are 80-110-80 hryvnias per day per person), however, porridge was cooked for children for breakfast. These are the cons that spoiled our holiday.
Of the benefits: the territory is beautiful and large, as in the photo, only pine trees have grown, many roses, ornamental shrubs, benches, but we fell into the period of green midges and mosquitoes that stuck to you, so we mostly walked. Playground only for children under 6 years old (fun announcement), and for the older generation one table with a board game. There is a mini zoo with chickens, pigeons, parrots, squirrels, peacocks, ducks. In the dining room there is a cinema in size and likeness, like in Soviet times a small hall, they played cartoons and films. (For a fee). There is a children's room, but we did not go. The beach is clean, but a large ambrosia bush grew on the stones in the center of the beach, and I kept thinking, well, when it will be removed, but alas, this is only important for allergy sufferers. The sea is clean, warm, I really liked it, and the wind blows from the sea all the time. On the beach there is a restaurant with a terrace. You sit and admire the sea - that's what brightened up.
