The room had an irremovable smell of dampness... there was an impossible stench from the furniture. I washed the room myself, treated it with essential oils - all to no avail. The air conditioner is filthy! They never turned it on, they were afraid to suffocate from this dirt. The TV is disgusting!
The owner, for reasons unknown to me, immediately began to "poke" and talked down to me, as if he was paying me for the rest. I was completely shocked by their deceit. . . Thank God, I managed to move out!! ! The owner did not want to give the money... he behaved so humiliatingly with me !!!
I do not advise anyone!

We rested in August 2011, the star boarding house was chosen simply because there were no other options (later they were disappointed in their choice). From the pros: 1) Rooms with decent furniture, a refrigerator and a balcony, with wooden chairs. 2) Nice view from the balcony, you can hardly hear the music from the embankment.

1) Rooms with decent furniture, a refrigerator and a balcony, with wooden chairs.
2) Nice view from the balcony, you can hardly hear the music from the embankment.
3) The room is regularly cleaned, bed linen and towels are changed.
And now for the cons:
1) The beach is insanely far away, in the evening you can’t push your way along the promenade. In the morning you need to wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and take a place on the beach. People who wake up at 5 am find it difficult to change while standing, and leave their things on the stairs, right at the entrance. THE BEACH IS NOT OWN, BUT CITY!
2) There is no air conditioning in the room, stuffy during the day.
3) The food is generally terrible, constantly pilaf and meatballs, and in the morning porridge and a sandwich, and so on for a whole week. There were no fruits except apples.
4) No WI-FI.
5) The territory is not guarded at all, two guards walk from the side of the entrance from the city in the morning, everyone comes in in the evening.
6) There are no activities for children in the boarding house.
Of course there are pluses, but there are many more minuses. My advice - do not come to the star, if good service, delicious food and your own beach are important to you, for whom this is not important - Welcom.

It was not possible to book a room in the Zvezdny 1 guest house in Sudak. We were told in detail about the hotel and sent the details for prepayment, we were especially worried about prepayment. After sending the prepayment for 4 days, the booking confirmation was not sent, referring to employment. Then we were informed that our reservation was invalid and the whole hotel was already booked.

We did not like the beach at the boarding house, large stones, no sunbeds.

The food is good, fruit and cakes are almost every dinner, the rooms are cleaned daily. The beach is 500 + 150 meters across the boarding house. We did not like the beach at the boarding house, large stones, no sunbeds. We went for money to the TOK Sudak beach (suite), sunbeds, umbrellas for everyone, not many people. There are an awful lot of people on the city beach.
We concluded: Sudak is a good city, there is where to have fun, relax with children, an aqua park. But it's better to go to TOK Sudak, 100 m from the sea, a good beach (better than anyone else), beautiful territory. So if you go to Sudak, then only to TOK Sudak.
