Rested with my husband in Corfu in Dassia this year at the beginning of September, at the Magna Graecia hotel. Were very satisfied with everything. The hotel is located in the small village of Dassia, 13 km from the capital. City blue buses go there every 30 minutes at number 7, a ticket costs 1.7 one way, if you take it from the mini-market in the hotel, it will be more expensive from the driver.

The hotel itself is not on the first coastline, but the beach is about 10 minutes on foot, which is not very long. On the beach, of course, sun loungers and umbrellas for an additional fee. Near the pool, as usual, free of charge. There is also an interesting daily animation.
There is a Russian-speaking staff at the reception. I would like to say thank you to Mila for helping me change the room to the top floor. Excellent cuisine, we were satisfied with the food, although we are picky. The rooms are probably the weakest point of the hotel. In general, we liked everything, but they can already be updated.
Once there were problems with the air conditioner, but they fixed it promptly.
Cleaned up regularly. The room has a paid safe - 10 euros + 10 deposit, as well as paid wi-fi - 10 euros per week. But the Internet is free at the reception, normal in principle. Animation at the hotel every day, always different and there is a Russian-speaking animator. We saturated our vacation with an excursion program and several cruises, as we were tired of lying on the beach. We highly recommend the cruise to Kassiopi with BBQ!
Corfu is a stunning island, and a week is not enough to see all the most worthwhile. So we will be back for sure!

The hotel consists, as it were, of three parts, we had, as we understood, the main building, there is a building where the apartments are located and a small building higher on a small hill, but from there you can see the sea and mountains right away. There are two swimming pools on the territory of the hotel, there is a tennis court but it is paid, there is a clearing with tables and chairs where you can sit to play or just admire nature.

The beach is 5 minutes away, the beach is sandy, in Greece all the beaches are state-owned, the hotel can only have its own umbrellas and sunbeds, so you can relax, swim and sunbathe everywhere . And another big plus is the bus stop and Kerkyra capital 15 minutes nearby. Meals in hotels, as we laughed, are five times a day, they cook delicious and everything is fresh, in the evening entertainment, in the afternoon aqua aerobics.

The room is beautiful, the view of the mountains is breathtaking. The room seemed very spacious for us, equipped with all necessary equipment. Plumbing is in good condition, there are no complaints about cleaning either. The territory of the hotel is large, several buildings, a playground, a gymnastics and yoga area, 2 swimming pools, one with a children's section. Meals, one word all inclusive, which means a huge selection of a wide variety of dishes.
I am glad that there are national Greek dishes, dishes for vegetarians and, most importantly, you can eat soup for lunch and dinner, this is important for those who relax with children. In addition to the variety of dishes, the quality of their preparation can also be noted, for 10 days of our vacation we were not at all tired of hotel food.
The animation is excellent, the children were busy and happy from morning to evening.
Adults can also spend the evening listening to live music or enjoying dancing. We were also able to catch an evening of national Greek culture with costumes and dances, discos and the Miss and Mr. Magna contest.
You will have to walk to the sea, but not far, 200 meters. The beach is sandy and pebbly, the entrance is quite convenient, umbrellas and sunbeds come for a separate fee, so be prepared for this.
With the help of the hotel guide Ekaterina, we learned how to get to the city, took several excursions, among which we recommend that you definitely visit a sightseeing tour of the city of Corfu. We put the hotel 5+!

1. Acquaintance with the hotel took place during an advertising and information tour of Greece. 2. Location: in the resort village. Dassia, 11 km from Corfu. Not 1st line. The village itself Dassia is surrounded by olive groves. The village has a Blue Flag sand and pebble beach. In the sea, as a rule, a gentle entrance.

3. The territory of the hotel is small, this is the so-called. city hotel. But for those who like not to be locked up, this will be an advantage, because. in the village Dassia has a lot of shops, night clubs, etc. The hotel is located near the center, next to a bus stop, a supermarket, shops, a pharmacy, car and motorcycle rentals.
4. Rooms - 170 rooms, renovated in 2014: double and double superiors (larger than a double), family and family superiors (larger than standard family rooms). Possible accommodation: 2.2+1. In the rooms: air conditioning, satellite TV (with Russian TV channels, without Ukrainian ones), telephone, safe (extra charge 10 € / week), refrigerator, wi-fi (extra charge), bath / shower, hairdryer, balcony / terrace. Everything is simple, without chic.
5. Meal plan: half board or all inclusive. Restaurant, lobby bar, pool bar. Unfortunately, we did not see the restaurant, did not try the food : (.
6. Beach: the hotel does not have its own. Within walking distance, 200 m. Umbrellas + sun loungers - for a fee. The hotel has an outdoor fresh water swimming pool.
7. For children: children's mini-club (4-12 years old), children's section in the pool, playground, babysitting (on request) - for a fee.
8. Wi-fi - in the reception area for free. There is an internet corner (for a fee).
9. For outdoor enthusiasts: water sports on the beach. Tennis court, billiards (extra charge).
10. Entertainment: animation, Greek evening 1 r / week, live music.
11. There is a parking lot.
12. There are no conditions for the reception of guests with limited mobility.
Personal impression: more likely than not (but this is my subjective impression after a half-hour visit).
Summary: 4 on a five-point scale. The usual, so to speak, "four". In my opinion, the advantage is the location of the hotel - the fact that it is urban.
