The hotel is located on the territory of a relic park and provides its guests with elegant and comfortable rooms in detached two-story cottages, made in the traditional Bulgarian architectural style. High-quality service and a lot of entertainment for adults and children will turn your vacation into an unforgettable adventure. The hotel consists of individual villas in the center of the Dunes resort. The complex was built in 1986, renovated in 2010. The cottages are located in tiers on the territory of the Dunes resort complex, in a park area, at a distance of 200-500 m from the beach, next to the Belleville hotel.More →

We got a change of room, as always, at first there was a song about the fact that there are no rooms, in the end we found a little better than the first, but the room was so damp that the bed linen was wet.
In the morning, reception again and a call to the tour operator about the living conditions, several normal options were found at once and the vacation began to sparkle with different colors.
The food is monotonous.
The bar at the relaxation pool is not open.
The air conditioning system is dirty and moldy.
The rooms are in need of renovation for a long time.
There is a bar on the beach.
I liked the animation.
The children liked the water park with several slides.
The rooms and restaurant are not worthy of 4 stars.
There is a shortage of staff.
A beautiful, well-groomed large area, it was very pleasant to walk in the evening.

They said that this is the best place in Bulgaria.
The resort is called Duni Royal Resort and consists of 5 hotels, two four-star (Holliday Village and Pelikan) and three five-star Belleville, Marina Beach and Royal Marina. All visitors to the resort can use all restaurants and pools, except for the Royal Marina, which is the most expensive and whose visitors can use everything, and only visitors to the hotel itself can use their hotel.

There were six of us - two children and four adults (my wife and I and my parents). There is important information here, if it is difficult for you to walk (old age, legs, back, etc. ), in no case choose Holiday Village. Marina Beach is the best, followed by Belleville.

The fact is that the Holiday Village is located on a mountainous area, there are many steps. We asked to be placed as low as possible, because my father is 75 and has arthritis. As a result, we had to live not nearby, and at the same time, there were 70 steps from the restaurant to my father’s room, and 151 to ours.
In the heat, you know, it's hard for everyone. But our tour operator did not say that it could be so hard.

Walk to the sea for at least 10 minutes, and if you live at the far end of the Holiday Village, then all 15-20.
But on the other hand, on our territory there is a water park and an open concert hall where all the shows take place. That is, residents of the five-star Marina Beach and Royal Marina walked the same 10 minutes to us.

it was hard to walk, but we had a balcony overlooking the pine trees and most of them are in Holiday Village, which consists of separate one-three storey buildings right in the pine forest. Very nice.

The rooms are small and clean. The beds are old, not super comfortable but not bad either. Pulls on 3 stars. We were visiting in a room in Belleville, the rooms are the same size, the mattresses are the same. The furniture is a little newer and prettier. Otherwise, they do not pull at all for 5 stars.

Food: very varied, there are dishes that are the same every day, and there are daily dinners with different themes (Mediterranean, Bulgarian, meat, etc. ).
Few fish and almost no tasty, bad herring. But a lot of delicious meat dishes. There are few vegetables, but they are quite tasty. In general, in such a variety, each member of our family found their favorite dishes on the 4th day and ate them : ).

There are almost no fruits ...only watermelons, melons, apples and peaches, and bananas.

Wow, delicious baklava. The rest is not very sweet in my opinion, but the children liked something.

Service - I'm not a chauvinist, but you can't call it something other than "Bulgarian". Everyone is polite, no one is rude, but they do not try to help either. The most unpleasant thing we once encountered was the line for ice cream, our turn comes up, and the aunt takes and closes everything, saying that it is now 9:30 pm and that's it, they are closed. I am with the children, we have two or three more children behind us. Well, why not say in advance that do not borrow more and serve those who came up! She didn't linger for a second. Horror ...I wanted to complain, but decided not to spoil my mood.
More about service and quality. Goods in shops are not of very good quality. But Marina Beach is better than Belleville. I especially do not recommend buying swimming masks in Belleville, they live exactly one day and are torn, they do not return money. At Marina Beach, the silicone that the mask is made of turned out to be much better.

the most amazing thing about this resort is the evening animation and, in principle, an unexpectedly extraordinary team of animators who entertain during the day around the pool, and in the evening they put on fantastic shows. Unfortunately, photography is not allowed there, so there are only a few photos (from those shows where it was allowed to take pictures). They are professional at the level of a good circus, amazing quality and dance numbers, and a neon show (I would be willing to pay for it to get in), funny skits, all in all languages. Straight great!

Children's animation was not used.
It exists, but it didn’t make sense for us, we didn’t want to give up our children and were always with them.

There are two a la carte restaurants with service that you can use once a week. Bulgarian Mekhana and Italian (can't remember the name). Bulgarian with good wine (including dry, which is simply not available for free), tasty meat and good service. Italian with bad wine, terrible service and not edible food). I regret that we did not go to Mekhana a second time.

the general impression is that I would go to Greece or Italy, but it was much cheaper here and we did not regret that we went. If we decide to save money again, then we will only go here and most likely to Marina Beach.

Upon check-in, we gave $ 20, but nevertheless we got the farthest standard villa on the edge of geography, tried to change for an extra charge, but to no avail, they said that there were no rooms. All villas are located in a beautiful picturesque place among pine trees, surrounded by greenery, the air is clean and fresh, to our surprise there are absolutely no mosquitoes. But walking steadily up the mountain in the heat gets boring already on the 3rd day, especially after eating. And in the evening, if the youngest child falls asleep, then carry him 20 kg. uphill the process I will say frankly to an amateur.
The room consists of 2 rooms, air conditioning in one room, but this is quite enough, it worked without failures. In the first room there is a folding double sofa bed, very uncomfortable, and in the second room there is a double bed. The room has a good spacious wardrobe, refrigerator, dressing table. The minibar is not filled. Safe is paid. At the entrance there is a large balcony-terrace, there is a plastic table and chairs, be careful, the plastic is old and dried up and the chair shatters into small and large sharp chips under any person of the most ordinary build, we had 3 chairs shattered during the rest, under different people, while the sharp plastic pin cut deep into the skin on the back. But apparently the hotel administration is aware of this "shortcoming" and we replaced the chairs with newer ones without talking, the only question is why, if the administration is aware of the emergency furniture, they do not remove it from service. The toilet and bathroom are combined, a fairly spacious room and it is the bathroom, not the shower. Towels are not worn and clean. The hair dryer is very weak, so if you have long thick hair, it is better to take a hair dryer from home. The same applies to all toiletries, except for liquid soap and toilet paper, there is nothing. Strange for a hotel whose price is equal to a good Turkish "five" even before the infamous events. But for me it was not important, I always take everything with me. Furniture in the room as well as plumbing does not look old and shabby. Cleaning was carried out daily, normally, bedding and towels are also changed every day. In general, the room is quite normal.
At the restaurant. On the second day, we decided to go to eat at Marina Beach 5 *, because in the Holiday Village dining room, right above the heads of visitors, there are many swallow nests under the ceiling and the birds themselves fly, feathers and their waste products fall just on food. Not only does this contradict the elementary rules of hygiene, but it is also very dangerous for health, because birds are carriers of many dangerous diseases. The staff consists mainly of very young people or retirees, so there is no need to talk about any qualifications. The waiters are not friendly, they fly around the hall, knocking visitors down, pulling out plates just from under their noses. The hair of an elderly woman who cleans the dishes is constantly loose, she bends over the table and shakes them right into your plate. He simply does not react to comments, while muttering something angrily in front of you under his breath in Bulgarian. We witnessed a glaring scene when the waitress broke a mountain of massive plates just under the feet of a small child, the fragments flew in all directions, while she didn’t even bother to ask if everything was fine with the child, silently began to rake this mountain, as if nothing had happened. In addition, they wipe the tables with clearly dirty, greasy rags, cut out of some unknown material. The tables are almost always not reserved and often dirty, the salt in the hodgepodges is stuck and does not crumble at all. But it’s not much better in the Marina either, companies of 2-3 people occupy eight-seat tables, there is no administrator in the hall who would be in charge of seating guests, although this is a mandatory practice in all hotels. As a result, there is often no place in a restaurant for a large company. In the bar of the five-star Marina, they bring dirty ashtrays and put them on the table as if nothing had happened, having previously knocked out the cigarette butts from there. Once, at the entrance to the Holiday Village restaurant, there was a huge puddle, sorry, vomit, which smelled accordingly, etc. But they were in no hurry to clean it up and it remained there when we left the dining room. We have not seen this anywhere else.
The food is normal. From meat - pork, veal, chicken, turkey. There are cereals, pasta, potatoes. Soups are similar to ours, but fatty. From fruits, peaches, though green, watermelons, apples, oranges, a couple of times there was a melon. Seafood was only 1 time in 11 days and then only squid and mussels. I haven't tried the tasty fish either. Desserts are quite tasty. In general, food without frills, but you will not be hungry. Drinks: yupi, cola, seven up, airan, no packaged juices, let alone fresh juices. Drinking this yupi, which is signed as juice, I strongly do not recommend, the tongue and teeth were stained in children. At the same time, when the child mixed two different “juices”, they entered into an incomprehensible reaction and the liquid, as it were, curdled, in general, an eerie sight. Bottled water is available in all bars and canteens. Some bars make a so-called milkshake, while you are poured milk from a bag, and chocolate syrup is added to it. Our children had a stomach ache after such a “milk shake”, we did not dare to take it anymore. The beer is practically non-alcoholic, all the rest of the alcohol is one solid “shmurdyak”, this was not seen either in Turkey or even in Egypt, our men did not drink anything here, so if you are addicted to quality, then Duty free will help you.
There are restaurants "A la carte", for free, we went 1 time to the Bulgarian, but to be honest, the food is all the same as in the main, the only thing is that everything is done in the national style. And there is serving and service.
I will pay special attention to the Internet, it is paid and not cheap, $ 7 per day, but the most annoying thing is that it catches only in some places. It is very inconvenient for people whose work involves even on vacation to be in touch in viber. One of us often had to sit at the reception instead of lying on the beach. It is strange that in our time it is impossible to establish the normal operation of the Internet in such a large hotel complex.
The beach is clean, sandy, a wide beach strip, there are always free places, everything - sun loungers with umbrellas, towels for free, on cards. True, towels are not issued or accepted from 12.30 to 16.00. Very inconvenient and strange, considering that at this time you have to go to lunch and drag wet towels to the restaurant. The sea is shallow, the water is clean and warm. But to go from our villa to the beach is far and in the sun. Much closer, just on the shore, are the Marina Beach 5 * and Marina Royal Palace 5 * hotels. The Marina Royal Palace hotel has a spa center with a very decent sauna, and a swimming pool, which you can use for free, it is open until 18.00.
The water park is new, good, there is a separate one for the little ones and for adults. An instructor sits at the very top and tirelessly makes sure that people do not fall on each other's heads. Near the water park there are also always free sun loungers.
Animation is very weak, sluggish. You could say that it just doesn't exist. Evening shows in German. They didn't show up for a couple of days. A couple of times there were invited artists, but also about nothing. We came and left after 15 minutes, boring and not interesting. After the show, you can go to a street disco, and after it go to the room above the dining room, which is open until 2 am. But as it turned out, the DJ decides how long she works, he can say “Finish” and ask everyone to leave, and an hour and a half earlier, without explanation.
In general, the complex itself is not bad, but the whole impression is spoiled by the attitude of the staff, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. If you speak Russian, then you may not even come up with questions and requests that are uncomfortable for them at the reception, at best they will pretend that they do not understand you and simply turn their backs on you, and at worst they will be rude. The receptionist Gabriella Ivanova was especially distinguished. Of course, we received an apology in the form of a free card for the Internet for the whole holiday, but this only happened after we turned to the general manager. Please note that not all the staff are like that, there were also very nice well-mannered people.
For the second time, the whole company decided not to go to this hotel anymore, and I will not recommend it either. Firstly, no matter how good the territory, the sea, but all this is successfully blocked by the human factor, which needs to be tightened and tightened in this hotel, and often such moments can ruin your vacation worse than poor food or a broken air conditioner. Secondly, the price is clearly too high. Set the bar high, be kind enough to comply.

I accidentally stumbled upon the Dunes. The final decision was made after studying the review on TurPravda "Instructions for use". The arrival took place at the beginning of the season, because the water was clean and cool, no rotavirus was noticed. We drove from the airport in a passenger car, settled immediately - at about 17 pm. The room turned out to be of the "Villa Paradise" type - houses standing in pairs, with only a common wall on the terrace. The house was not far from Belleville, so there was no need to walk up the stairs. In principle, they would gladly take a house and higher.
Offhand, half of the vacationers are Russian-speaking people, including young couples with children, grandmothers with grandchildren, children's sports sections with coaches and educators. The rest - Romanians and Macedonians by car, from the plane - Poles, Germans, often heard English, a couple of times - French. The atmosphere is without exaggeration warm, peace and friendship between peoples. As far as I understood, no one was embarrassed by the predominantly English animation, everyone laughed together at the show with a conversational genre, responded to the calls of the animators. I didn’t take sneakers in vain, there is cool step aerobics and other sports activities.
In reality, everything is better than in the photo. Tall hotels look pompous, but are accessible to everyone (terraces, lobbies, bars, pools), except for 5-stars. restaurant and swimming pool at Marina Royal.
The territory is huge - the Strandzha nature reserve, a deserted sandy beach 5 km south of the hotels to the village of Sveti Toma - a bunch of white and red cubes on a cliff, glowing in the dark with a bright line at night. The beach is almost endless. In addition to the noise of the sea and the singing of hundreds of songbirds, in the evenings you can hear the monotonous chorus of frogs from the lake. No mosquitoes were noticed, the Raptor taken from the house was not useful. From experience, the territory of the Dunes is something between the Botanical Park in Palanga and the Vorontsovsky Park in the Crimea, only you also live there.
The food is beyond praise! All kinds of vegetables, meats, side dishes. . . Cherry season - served in abundance. Light wines of local production in direct access from special devices with taps. To the bartender - only for beer and stronger drinks.
Several restaurants were available, from the beach "Breeze" (tea with milk between swims) and the democratic "Sozopol" (breakfasts) to the royal one in Marina Beach (lunches and dinners, you go to the toilet like a museum! : ) ), several pools . Towels on the beach can be changed several times a day, in the room - cleaning and linen change daily.
Recommended: for young families with children, for a relaxing holiday.

Regarding food - the first days everything is fine, but the food is very monotonous, there are very few quality products, a lot of semi-finished products, fried grill. There are no high-quality cheeses, sausages, there is a lot of margarine in rolls. The food is not of very high quality, there are few vegetables, there are fruits, but there were no seasonal figs. After the first week, it was hard to find that you can eat light and fresh, it even became a problem for me and for my 4-year-old daughter. Soups are peculiar, an abundance of chicken, but again cooked in a peculiar way. Didn't like the food.
Of the minuses - this is a characteristic of this resort, just what you need to be prepared for - a lot of people, these are crowds on the beach and in the dining room. Yes, there are enough places for everyone, but such a number of people is tiring.
You also need to be prepared that it will take place all the time in a closed area, there will be nowhere to go, to Sozop, as already mentioned, only a taxi.
Animation - many are really delighted, the amphitheater is packed, but the shows are monotonous, some kind of mass culture and watching them every day is completely uninteresting.

Sea, beach: the beach is fine, yellow sand, the sea is clean, shallow, which is just super for children. Closer to the Marina Polas hotel there is a sandy spit, near the buoys, somewhere knee-deep, closer to the wild beach deeper, somewhere up to the neck. Sometimes there are waves, but there will be no big ones (there is a breakwater). When the waves - algae are washed ashore, I’ll say that it’s not a very pleasant sight, 3-5 m looks like a swamp, but again, the waves are not often, and the sea to the Marina Polas hotel is cleaner  Lifeguards (2-3 people) are constantly sitting on the beach , swim behind the buoys - they start whistling! But if you swim along them, they will remain silent, which is what we used  There were always enough sunbeds, even if you came at 11 o’clock, you can always find free sunbeds and an umbrella. If you want, of course, the first line, then you need to take hours from 6-7 in the morning.
The hotel has its own beach (which is rare for Bulgaria), so sunbeds and an umbrella are free. At the entrance to the beach there is a “House” where towels are issued (also free of charge, at the entrance to the hotel you are given cards according to the number of people, you change these cards for towels on the beach. Very convenient, always clean, dry towels, you can even exchange them during the day, if yours got dirty. There are showers and taps for washing feet on the beach, no hot water, only cold water!!!
And yes, I forgot to say the most important thing - from Holiday Village to go to the sea for about 5-10 minutes, though through a beautiful area, but the road is still tiring  On the beach there is a rental of bananas, scooters, water skis and something else ).

The territory of the hotel: it is HUGE! ! ! ! This hotel is part of the Dunes Royal Resort complex, it consists of 5 hotels: Holiday Village (4*), Belleville (4*), Pelican (4*), Marina Beach (4*), Marina Royal Palace (5*). You can use all the hotels, except for some 5 * charms (Marina Royal), namely a restaurant, a sky bar (I don’t know what else, because we practically didn’t go there). The whole territory is very well-groomed, the grass is cut and watered every day, beauty! ! ! The paths are tiled everywhere, the son came off riding a scooter. Holiday is a house (1-2 storey) in the forest, peace and quiet. No noise of partying is heard, only birds and crickets. The rest of the hotels are high-rise buildings, as usual.
From Belleville and Pelican to the sea is also far away, on the first line there are Marine Beach and Marina Royal Palace, but there is all the daytime entertainment (animation), constant noise and crowds of people. And we have silence  There is a forest around the complex (the air is clean). On the map you can see that there is a road along the coast, but, firstly, it was blocked, it is further a dead end, so there are VERY few cars, and secondly, it was surrounded by a fence, at first I didn’t even realize that I was crossing the road through the underpass , so they skillfully disguised it. Turtles, hares, squirrels and hedgehogs seem to be found on the territory (but I have never seen it, although there are warning signs and even someone said that they saw a squirrel and a hedgehog  ). And now about the main thing - the Holiday Village hotel is located, as it were, on a hill, so it will not work to get to the room without tension  Although, probably, how lucky. Mom got the number at the very bottom, so she had to overcome 10-20 steps.
We were less fortunate, we lived in room 537, every day we had to walk up the stairs (I was not even too lazy to count them - 103! If you correlate with the floors, it turns out the 5th floor). After eating it’s hard, but it’s useful  For those who are more difficult with strollers ...There are no ramps, so you can get to the room, as it were, bypassing the road without steps, but there are slopes under 450, it’s easy to get to the beach, consider running for a stroller, but to the room!!! ! ! ! We were without a stroller, so I don’t care, I was even pleased, otherwise I would have become completely fat  But my sister was with a stroller, she just asked to change the number and after 2 days they exchanged her for a lower number. They don’t take money for changing the number, don’t even offer! We were offended, they said so change!

Rooms: We had a regular one-room suite. I don’t know how it is in seed, so excuse me. I am a person without pretensions, so I liked it.
Simple, clean room on the 2nd floor, carpet on the floor, TV (shows 2 Russian channels - 1 and Russia), table, ottoman, bedside table, telephone, table with a mirror, refrigerator, condo (worked properly, set to 24 degrees, when came from 40 degrees from the street, went to heaven), toilet, hair dryer, hand and body towels according to the number of people, 1 foot towel mat, bathroom, not shower ! ! ! , a wall mirror, a LARGE wardrobe for clothes, with hangers (10 pieces), 2 beds (we just moved them and put a blanket folded into a tube at the junction, covered the whole thing with a sheet and voila, we got a double bed), a couch for a child. For very young children, you can ask for a playpen for free. Balcony, on the balcony there are 2 chairs, a table and, most importantly, a dryer! ! ! I took a rope with clothespins with me, it never came in handy. Everything fits, the wind does not blow away, so I was pleased. There is a safe, but you have to pay for it (7 lev per day).
We did not take, all the documents and money were in the closet. I have not heard anything about theft, so I think you can do without a safe. Small ants sometimes come to visit from living creatures, but if you remove everything sweet, they get offended and leave on the floor.

Restaurant: This is heaven! ! ! Turkey, with its incomprehensible mishmash, did not even stand next to it ! ! ! ! We took all inclusive. There were no queues, even at the peak. Empty elbows were quickly replaced by filled ones, so we had to wait 3 minutes. There is a children's table, on a separate counter next to the table with 10 kinds of bread  For breakfast, there is porridge from bags (although it is not clear why, if there is real porridge from cereals), all sorts of livers. For lunch and dinner, a tray with boiled potatoes, vegetables and meat (chicken, beef, turkey).
I honestly didn’t use it, and my sister and daughter (2 years old) ate from the common table. It was always possible to find food for the child: a side dish - boiled or baked vegetables - corn, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, potatoes; boiled meat, and most importantly, I was very pleased to eat compote (2-3 types: apricot, plum, cherry, peach). My son does not drink water, you can’t put it in at all, only compote, I thought there would be problems, but no, I was lucky  There are no fresh juices, only UPI - mango and strawberries. There were a lot of fruits, but it probably depends on the season. They were not all at once, but as if they were changing. Watermelon and melon have always been there, the rest is coming and going: peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, grapes, bananas, plums. The wine is white and red, red is somehow not very good, but HERE white is very good. I also want to note that the restaurant gives free water in 1.5 l bottles, it’s very convenient to take it to the beach and to the room, it’s generally super with a child.
At breakfast, water is in the restaurant, the rest of the time, go to any bar and ask for a bottle of water 
This is the schedule and menu of the Sozopol restaurant, located in close proximity to Holiday and Belleville:
Breakfast from 7 to 11: you are fried scrambled eggs with additives of your choice, scrambled eggs and pancakes. The rest is already ready, waiting for you: sausages, cheeses, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs with cheese, fruits and vegetables, 3-4 types of jam, delicious dried fruits, chocolate paste, tea, coffee, porridge (oatmeal or rice), all kinds of muesli , cereals, chocolate balls, milk, kefir, sour milk (according to our yogurt, only natural  ), fruit salad. In short, I don’t remember everything, but you can always choose. And most importantly - everything is tasty and understandable to our Russian mouth! And how in Turkey you pile up your plates, you don’t like anything, you don’t really understand what you eat!
Lunch from 12.30 to 14.30:2-3 types of soup with meat! ! !
Not just some kind of broth there, but a real homemade soup, a very tasty vegetable puree soup, you can pile a toast there and you won’t pull a child by the ears  Salads, side dishes, meat, not soy! ! ! (turkey, chicken, kebabchats - these are their national fried minced meat sausages, beef, pork, boiled and fried fish), 3 types of pasta with awesome sauce (meat and mushroom). A lot of things, you will find something for yourself! And now the main thing - ice cream, as much as you want, about 8 varieties, and all this can be either in a cup or in the most delicate waffle cup! Ice cream is very tasty, not some kind of ice! But behind him there is almost always a line of children  A lot of sweets, all kinds of cakes, pastries, biscuits, puffs and some other things. By the way, they are very tasty, although I am not a fan.
Dinner from 19.00 to 21.30: almost the same as for lunch, only a larger selection of hot dishes.
Every Saturday, huge cakes, ordinary cakes and ice cream cakes are solemnly carried through the restaurant with torches. Yes, and the menu on Saturday is more interesting - some breaded squid rings are worth something, and if they are also with garlic sauce, mmmmm as I remember .....
Tea, coffee from 16.00 to 17.00: drinks and all kinds of liver. We usually didn’t go, there was enough lunch for our eyes, and we slept at that time 
From 00.00 to 00.30 you can make some sandwiches.
Cartoons are shown in the children's restaurant from 19.00 to 20.00. There are always tables free, I sat the child down, shoved him a plate and he sat chewing 
Once a week you can order an Italian restaurant (Milanese) or Bulgarian (Mechana), they work from 19.00 to 22.00. The order is made the day before by phone from 17.00 to 19.00, phone numbers will be given upon arrival. I want to clarify one thing, in order to get through you need to hang on the phone for 10-20 minutes, as lucky.
Don't hang up, don't lose hope and they will answer you  It's them who are testing us for strength  I liked Italian better, although it doesn't matter to anyone. Please state the room number and number of people when ordering. Since 3 families went to us (that is, they lived in 3 rooms), they ordered almost every other day for different rooms 
There is a restaurant for us free of charge in Marina Beach (the schedule is the same as in Sozopol), but we didn’t go there, there was enough of our own  There is a Snack bar on the beach, you can also have a bite there, I really don’t know, but my husband said to eat fruit, pizza, soup, something else. Works from 12.30 to 18.00. On the beach there is also a tent with all sorts of sandwiches, you go up to the peasant and poke with your finger what to put in a cut bun - cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise,
Bars are open until 02.00, drinks are even nothing, again, Turkey was not nearby ....
Although whoever has any requests, I really liked the cocktails, not diluted, alcoholic  I like sweet ones - tropicana, san francisco, pino colada ...Mahito didn’t like it very much. My sister is with requests, so she is not very good. She used to go to the Sky Bar in the Marina Royal Palace, where she really liked the drinks, although they cost money. And of course in the bars any soda (Pepsi, Sprite, Fonta, etc. ).

On the territory of the complex: American pool, darts, table tennis and tennis with separate cool courts, bike and car rental, beach volleyball and football, floor chess, archery, boccia, water polo, beauty salon in Marina Royal Palace (I highly recommend massage Cleopatra! ), disco at 23.
00 in Holiday, indoor and outdoor pools, internet club (by the way, in Holiday there is no WiFi only at the reception: 5 lev - 1 hour, 10 lev - 24 hours, 25 lev - 3 days, in other hotels there is WiFi, the prices are the same), fitness, massage, sauna, jacuzzi, 3 indoor playgrounds (very convenient with children, they do not burn in the sun, and the slides are not fiery). There are souvenir shops at the Holiday reception, and at Marina Beach, there is more choice there, and there are essentials (diapers, soap, shampoo, paste, etc. ). A very good mini-club for children, they bathe with children, play, sculpt, turn on cartoons, dance in general super!
And behind the amphitheater there is a drawing for children, oh how much money we left there ...Plaster figurines are sold (from simple to complex), then they give acrylic paints and children paint the figurines (the cost depends on the figurine from 6 lev to 20), and also sand painting , give a picture, remove a film from it and pour sand of different colors on a sticky layer, it turns out very beautifully and even a 3-year-old kid can handle it. Perhaps I missed something, read the description of the hotel on the sites.

Miscellaneous and useful: it’s better to take Euro with you, the rate is more profitable 1 euro = 1.95 lev, the rate will depend on where you change, in the hotel the rate is 1 euro = 1.8 lev, we changed in Sozopol 1 = 1.95 lev, and in exchangers the rate is more profitable than in the bank. You can withdraw money from the card, the rate is also favorable 1.955, but the bank takes a commission for the conversion, so you need to know in advance what% the bank takes.
It takes 5-7 minutes to drive from the hotel to Sozopol, a taxi costs 35 leva round-trip, the taxi driver takes you, then picks you up when it suits you. We rented a car, Russian rights apply, the rules and signs are very similar to ours. So take it, you won't regret it  The hotel has car rental, but it's a little expensive, 1 day - 50 euros. We rented a Skoda Fabia in Sozopol for 28 euros per day, the price already includes insurance. Who needs a phone number: 0898-56-06-41. Traveled all south coast 

Excursions: I'll tell you about the ones I've been on. I write prices for adults, children cost 50%.
1. Ropotamo reserve (30 levs for adults, 15 levs for children) - a motor boat trip along a dirty river for 40 minutes. They promised animals, fish, birds, sea turtles! ! ! During all this time, we saw 2 ducks, which the whole boat was very happy about  At least we saw someone  In general, horror, although it’s not very tiring for children, at least they rode on a boat.
2.
In general, I highly recommend it under its own power - and it’s interesting and buy souvenirs!
3. Sophia-Rila Monastery (2 days - 189 levs). The tour was very enjoyable, but exhausting! In no case do not travel with children, it is a pity for them very much. On the 1st day at 6 in the morning they are taken from the hotel to Plovdiv, then only at 6 we arrive in Sofia, 2-3 hours drive around the capital and at 9 pm to the hotel. In the morning at 7 the bus picks up and takes you to the GORGEOUS Rila Monastery, lunch, somewhere at 13.00 and then the way home, you will be at the hotel at 23.00, i. e. the bus ride is 9 hours, I almost went crazy! ! ! Although, in general, I really liked the tour, you will learn a lot of interesting things about Bulgaria.
They also say that there is a very interesting excursion Shipka-Kazanlak (89 lev), but we didn’t make it  so I can’t tell you anything.

Animation: AWESOME! I have never seen such animation. Dancing, humorous scenes, costumes, choreography, in general, super. Shows are held in the amphitheater in Holiday, starting at 21.30. Shows run every 2 weeks, i. e.
for 2 weeks every day a new show, then a repetition, etc. Every Thursday the show is not in the amphitheater, but on the beach, there is not even a show, but a beach party, everyone is dancing. Fireworks after the beach party Thursday. The coolest shows are on Saturdays, Sunday is a day off. Once every 2 weeks on Friday there is a children's show. I'll tell you what it is  There is a children's club on the territory of the hotel, children who want to learn dances with animators during the week, and then perform on stage. It's very funny, and the parents of these children were crying with emotion. Children participate from 3 years to 16 years old. Since the amphitheater is one for 5 hotels, you yourself understand how many people there are. But before dinner we went into the amphitheater and took our places with some things. In principle, for 3 weeks they never dropped things  But my sister was less fortunate, they dragged off her panama hat and bib, so you leave the things that are not very necessary.

And now about the sad: for me there was one and a very big minus of the hotel.
The hotel has its own mini-hospital (round-the-clock), 1-2 doctors are constantly sitting there, there is an ambulance. At first we were delighted to see this, like we will be protected, but then we learned all the delights! My child gets sick, the temperature is under 40. I call the insurance company and after 3 hours it turns out that the hotel administration does not allow other doctors into the territory ! ! ! ! That is, only a hotel doctor! I am offered to go to the barrier of the hotel (which is a 7-minute walk) with a sick child. I’m in shock, I start swearing, as they imagine, I’ll drag a child with such a temperature into a cool evening, to which they shrug me and say we can’t do anything, I call the reception, they answer - we have such rules and that’s it, call our doctor . A doctor's examination costs 46 euros in a hospital, a call to a room costs 82 euros. We paid 46 euros just for examining the child (throat and breathing).
True, they give all the papers for the insurance company, upon arrival the insurance company reimbursed us everything, but the sediment remained! So keep that in mind and take your medicines with you. Although the pharmacies of Sozopol speak Russian and have almost all “our” medicines, you can buy them there.

In general, I really liked the hotel, I will definitely go there again! If you have any questions write, I will be happy to answer!

I treated the choice of the hotel (like most tourists) with great meticulousness, because going on vacation with a child of 5 years old, these are certain requirements for accommodation and food. I read a bunch of reviews and opted for the Duni complex, in particular the Holiday Village. The Duni complex on a huge, carefully protected area has 5 hotels (Belleville, Marina Beach, Marina Royal, Pelican and Holiday itself), 4 of them are hotel-type (Marina Beach and Marina Royal, located right on the seashore, Pelican is lost in the wilds , so I never got to him, and didn’t understand what backyards he was in, Belleville and Holiday are next to each other, Belleville is closer to the sea, Holiday is much further), and Holiday Village is a type of small villas, each of which are made in different styles. … More ▾ I treated the choice of the hotel (like most tourists) with great meticulousness, because going on vacation with a child of 5 years old, these are certain requirements for accommodation and food. I liked the Holiday, there are more opportunities for sports (whether you like it or not, but you overcome 90 steps at 75 degrees uphill several times a day), again, a tennis court nearby, treadmills, a swimming pool, an amphitheater, and again, this whole complex is located in forest zone + and a lot of flowers, all the steps are decorated with beauty, a lot of interesting transitions, birds vociferous a lot - rest in accordance with nature is provided for you and I won’t bother other tourists - somehow everything is well organized in this regard - very rarely you will encounter anyone. The rooms are good, comfortable, condos, balconies, cleaning - everything is fine! dining room (you can’t say otherwise! ) - located below (so stock up on umbrellas in case of rain, you will have to go through the fresh air and a decent distance for food) - I didn’t like it, because of the abundance of people (the entire population of three hotels flocks- this is a lot), noisy, stuffy, they grab something all the time (as if something is not enough, apparently the reflex is triggered by the people) - in general, it’s terrible, I preferred to eat with a child in Marina Beach - there is a very friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, order , no queues - everything is very beautiful!
Animation - an average rating, out of many shchi, only 5 productions can be given a solid five, the rest are mediocre, and it's clear that the guys are already tired and it's obviously time to rest. My son didn’t like the children’s room at all (I was surprised, because the child loves all these events very much), when I came for him, where he was sitting, he got up from there, said that it was very boring - they turned on cartoons, when asked what they were doing, he said nothing ! and won't go there again. Only one girl speaks Russian, but she is not disposed to communicate with children. For children's animation minus! (I'm sorry I really hoped that the child would have fun there, and I could relax for a couple of hours). The beach is very clean, shallow, clear water, the territory is constantly cleaned, everything is very beautiful, there are enough sunbeds for everyone, but if you go to the first line, you will have to get up at 6 in the morning and recommended you to take something with you than you can "stake out a sunbed , otherwise you risk coming later and not finding your personal belongings, or finding them all over the beach - tourists from Romania were famous for this vandalism - scandalous, bazaar and coming in a huge camp.
I myself will not go there anymore, but I will send the child with her grandmother to Bud. year. Young and children over 7 years old will be desperately bored there!

I’m going to this hotel in a month, I read all the reviews (I chose them according to them). There were still questions: 1. Is there Internet on the territory and how much does it cost? Is there enough traffic to access Skype? 2. How much will a trip to Sozopol, Nessebar and the Rapotami River cost this year? 3. Is there an ATM in Duni where you can cash out a Sberbank ruble card? We got all the money issues, but I want to know all the nuances in advance. Thank you.
