But the service at the reception at night (got to replace the jerks) is just a horror and a disaster for the promotion of loot. We arrived at the hotel on 06/19/19 at 6:30 am and, as always, there are no rooms, they offered a standard bribe of 10 then 15 dollars, but it costs and just smiles, put on a bracelet and no specifics. I talked to a man on the beach, he said that there were enough free rooms, because. there are available rooms on its floor. We waited until more employees appeared at the reception closer to 9:00, and without any additional payment, the other guy, as he promised to settle by 11:00, did so. And that asshole, with a crowd of colleagues, categorically refused to take the money (like it’s impossible), because. came up many times. Again, I left the hotel on 06/25/19 early in the morning at 5:00, and witnessed the same picture, only with other people for whom there are also no rooms, but for $ 50 everything is solved and the same ghoul and his friend the porter were on the shift , who wanted to get $ 1 from me for weighing the suitcase (for which he asked, because he went himself, weighed it himself - "service"! ), He gave large ones, there was no change - but the envelope in the box for the promotion of visitors in which they were looking for change was very thick! This is how the night shift takes care of settling in hotel customers - everything is just for money!
The four of us rested - with my wife and two sons aged 8 and 11 in late July - early August 8 days / 7 nights through the tour operator AneksTour. Flying airlines AzurAir, which is part of Anex. The flight went perfectly, the crew and flight attendants left a very pleasant impression, the food on board was wonderful, in general, Azur was great. We arrived at the hotel after 15:00. Initially, a one-room standard room with an extra bed was paid for, but then they decided to change it to a two-room family room (there is expanse for children, and sometimes my wife and I need to retire)))). For 8 days at the reception, they asked for an additional payment of $ 200, but the Turks love to bargain, so after 15 minutes of a heartfelt conversation, the price dropped to 130. They never regretted it, because if you took a family room from a travel agent, the surcharge would be 2 times more. The room went to the 3rd block on the 3rd floor overlooking the village, the Sherwood Hotel, mountains and the sea. In the morning it's super, and after 11-00 the sun goes to the other side, it's not hot. The furniture in the room is in good condition. The territory of the hotel is small, but quite cozy, and there have never been any problems with finding children.
And now in order. . .
CLEANING AND CLEANING OF THE ROOM
On the first day we met the maid. Pleasant cheerful Turkish woman partially speaking Russian, German and English. For a smile in the morning and a $1 tip on the bed, we got perfect cleanliness, swans, elephants, hearts with flowers, the required amount of shampoos, shower gels, caps, cotton swabs, nail files and other things throughout the rest! Reading previous reviews about the dirt in the room, it seems that we rested in different hotels. Bed linen changed every other day, clean towels - daily. The ashtray was not just washed out, but also rubbed to a shine! The plumbing was always clean and worked flawlessly, the hair dryer too, the safe was very convenient, the air conditioner spun so that it had to be quieter (by the way, it was regulated separately in different rooms). Dental kits are not provided, as well as bathrobes with slippers ((( - alas, not luxury.
HOLIDAY CAPACITY
The hotel is family run, lots of kids. Youth and teenagers will be frankly bored. The animation is aimed primarily at children from 3 to 12 years old (a chic and fun mini-club) and guests over 40 years old (water polo, volleyball, boccia, a ball in the pool, etc. ). Composition: 40% - Russian families, 30% - family Germans and pensioners, the rest - Poles, Czechs, Italians, Kazakhs and local Turks.
SEA, POOLS, LOUNGES
The sea is a stone's throw from the hotel. The beach is normal, they clean, they try. The sea is wonderful, even if there is a little excitement, the whole family jumped on the waves! The beach is sandy, the entrance to the sea is small pebbles, we did not experience any discomfort. There are stairs from the pier. Near the pools there are three small water slides - not a water park, of course, but quite enough to have fun with the children. Ran for a whole year. Many write about the lack of sun loungers on the beach and near the pools. We are an active family, we wake up no later than 7-00, at 7-30 we go for breakfast, at 8-00 we go to the beach or to the pool. At this time, more than half of the sun loungers are free and you can always choose a free seat for 4 people without any problems. But if you like to sleep and appear at the rookery after 10-00 or at 11-00, then you will get a maximum of 3 rows on the beach, and then, at best. The hotel is 100% full. But this situation in almost all hotels is the peak of the season. And whining about it is stupid. Get up early!
FOOD, ALCOHOL
Standard Turkish food, somewhat monotonous, like everywhere else. Meat - chicken, turkey, beef, lamb. Fish - mackerel, sea bass and trout. For lunch and dinner, they cook it all on the grill. Rice, pilaf, couscous, potatoes in any form. Vegetables, greens - a lot. Fruits, berries - watermelons, peaches, nectarines, oranges, several types of grapes, apples, plums, etc. Lots of oriental sweets. All in all, you won't go hungry. For very young children, I did not see suitable food - there are only tables for feeding. Apparently you need to take it with you. Alcohol. Turkish wine for lunch and dinner, you can take it directly by the bottle - the refrigerator is in the center of the restaurant hall. Regular table dry wine of normal quality. It is dry, that is, those who love sugary semi-sweet compote, wine may not like it. Bars serve cocktails. We liked the way the bartenders do it in the central lobby bar. In the bars on the street - worse. Strong alcohol is also Turkish, in unlimited quantities - vodka, gin, whiskey, tequila, etc. If you go to import - no problem, only for the euro. Fortunately, I have not seen a frank "tagil" among the Russians, but in the mornings many have a very wrinkled look, a lost look and unbearable thirst. By the way, at the expense of thirst - refrigerators with good bottled drinking water are placed throughout the hotel.
MONEY
Turks love the euro. Everywhere - both in the hotel and in the malls in the village. You can also pay with dollars, but the exchange rate is unfavorable: one euro - one and a half dollars.
NEGATIVE
But not everything is so rosy. There is also a fly in the ointment.
FIRST - hotel guides from AnexTour - Tatiana and Ivan. They don't care about the problems of the guests at all. It is useless to contact them with questions, their main task is to sell as many excursions as possible. And sometimes the price tag is too high. If you really want to see something interesting, go to the village, there are a couple of travel agencies opposite the shopping arcade, their prices for the same excursions are two times lower.
SECOND - in the room there is a parody of the minibar. The first time you check in, it must be filled free of charge. Funny set - cola, sprite, fanta and two bottles of drinking water. We didn't have it filled. And although in the lobby bar all these drinks are on tap - at least fill up, but it's a matter of principle! Although, after three reminders, I got tired. In short, until the end of the rest, the cherished three cans did not appear in the minibar ((((. Well, figs with them.
THIRD - locals who come to rest for the weekend. Like rude hosts. They behave unceremoniously, climb everywhere without a queue. Unpleasant.
FOURTH, and for me the most important thing. Internet. We don't live in the Stone Age! Wi-Fi only works well in the lobby bar. The speed is disgusting, especially if a lot of people connect. There are not enough dynamic IP addresses for everyone. The management of the hotel should seriously think about it. Even from neighboring hotels, the signal in the room caught, but we had a problem with this. Missed some important messages. Badly.
OUTPUT
Normal Turkish beachgoer. No better and no worse than the rest, with its pluses and minuses. No need to compare in the five star luxury category. These are completely different things! And the price tag is completely different! We spent an excellent 8 days with a family of 4 for an amount of just over 100.000 rubles. (Well, $130 for a two-room suite))). The combination "price-quality" is perfect. And let me give a little advice to those who do not like everything. Learn English, speak kindly at the reception and don't pretend to be VIP guests! From the outside, such pompous geese (in the sense, guests) look very stupid. And in a good way, you can solve any problem.
Have a great holiday everyone!
In general, if you have the opportunity, add and take another hotel. I won't go here again.
Advantages
The beach is sandy.
disadvantages
Few sunbeds. At 6 am a lot is already taken.
Eating chicken and more chicken. From fruits oranges and apples. After complaints, plums and watermelons appeared.
The bed is changed only after a reminder.
In wasp territory. One guest was bitten.
They are pulling with the settlement. Especially those who came with children. Although everything is according to the rules.
The staff does not understand Russian.
Again. This is not 5*.
Animation: there is a kids club - open from 10-00 to 12-00 and from 15-00 to 17-00, children's disco from 20-30. No one is responsible for the children, the child can come and go on his own, they will not pay attention to this.
Animation for adults at the village club level.
The food in this hotel deserves special attention:
The main restaurant, eatery near the beach and a bar in the hotel. Food from meat chicken, chicken and more chicken. From meat it is more NOTHING! Fruits - apples, pears, peaches, watermelons and the first 2-3 days there were sluggish cherries. French fries, boiled potatoes, rice and pasta. Of the pluses, one can note delicious olives and olives, a large number of pickled white cheeses, a lot of greens and raw vegetables. From sweets, the same biscuit soaked in syrup in different variations. The wait staff is inexperienced and arrogant. The restaurant itself is gloomy and dirty, there is no proper ventilation. But the culmination of the rest (a spit in the soul) was a custom Italian restaurant: we booked a table for 19-30, when ordering, dishes from the menu were chosen, i. e. by the time chosen they were to be served. When we arrived, no one was waiting for us, the tablecloth was dirty, a glass in lipstick where they poured wine for me, we waited 45 minutes and didn’t wait for service, after which we had to leave, because. the mood was completely ruined. The next day, I complained to the administrator, but no apologies were made.
Bottom line: the hotel is not five stars - a maximum of 3, food for 3, service for 3.
Wi-fi was on the territory and in the lobby, we did not have it in the room. They called from the lobby.
The food is excellent!! ! Very varied. A lot of meat, fish, vegetables, and desserts the sea. Very tasty baklava. Of the fruits were cherries, watermelons, apples, oranges, plums. There were no strawberries. Juices on tap are normal, not diluted, and coffee is delicious from vending machines, especially hot chocolate. Ice cream was delicious from 14-16.
Children's animation twice a day and at 20-30 disco. Then entertainment for adults and adult disco from 23-30 to 2 am.
There were enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, the pool was mostly occupied. The sea was warm. Beach - sand, wide, along the shore of pebbles average 4 meters, pebbles in the sea.
The child loved the water slides. The animator girl is great. The children were delighted with her, she spoke 4 languages.
The animators entertained everyone throughout the day, it was not boring.
The only negative, we had a flight back at 23.30, and the flight was moved to 14.30 and at 11 am we had to leave. And the hotel guide Christina did not warn us. We accidentally found out at 10 am that at 10-45 we have to wait for the bus in the lobby. Gathered with the speed of the wind. . .
In general, we were satisfied! I recommend.
The sea is close and this is the only plus of this hotel.
I will not put in the pros that they clean the room. In any case, the hotel is obliged to clean the room.
Delicious ice cream from 14:00 to 16:00 by the pool.
That's all the positives about this hotel.
The hotel is never 5. . . so-so 3***
The whole hotel is kind of gloomy . . Gloomy cheap-looking main hall, gloomy dark hall near the restaurant and the restaurant itself. All shabby, old filthy and carpeting and sofas and armchairs and decoration in the rooms and furniture.
The hotel has no territory at all. Small beach and small pool area. This is all. You can walk only if you go outside the hotel.
Nothing to do with kids. . .
Food is scarce and monotonous.
Arrived at 7 am. Me and other guests were marinated in the gloomy and uncomfortable lobby of the hotel until 11 o'clock. We were waiting for our rooms to be cleaned. They offered to neighbors on the bus to "pay extra" $ 160 for a view from the window of the sea. For 20 dollars a day. They refused.
Kitchen for three with a minus. WITH A BIG MINUS.
Two types of chicken, two types of fish (grilled and stew) and three types of side dishes - rice, potatoes, pasta. I didn’t dare to eat zucchini with eggplant anymore after I just tried them with minced meat. Horror how not tasty with some smelly seasonings they were cooked. Sometimes they cooked a turkey. She was very good with mushrooms. But for some reason, once every two days we were pleased with this. Soups and cereals are just tin... a vile slimy brew, sometimes oversalted, then insipid... I never managed to taste a decent soup... I tried all 6 days. I didn't even take a chance with porridge. Made do with eggs and soy sausages. There were delicious corners with cottage cheese, but only for dinner.
They tried to create variety due to the amount of various herbs and vegetables - parsley, dill, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, chopped and pickled. That's all diversity.
On the sixth day, all this monotony was already nauseating.
Of the drinks, only the chemical yuri, which is impossible to drink, and draft Coca-Cola with Fanta.
No yoghurts, no juices, no fruit.
Sweet rare muck. Everything is the same type, only different dyes are added to the cream. There is impossible. Is it just baklava, and then it was of the same kind.
From fruits only apples and oranges. For Turkey, this is generally a shame. It's strawberry season now. She's worth every penny. Could make your guests happy.
It is evident that they save on everything. The staff is not friendly. They have the same gloomy faces as their hotel... .
The feeling that the hotel has no owner at all.
In the hall, in the morning until 8:00, the air conditioner is turned off (in order to save electricity), on the tables with streaks of dirt, you will see dirty dishes, crumbs under the tables, sticky streaks on the floor, etc. Sofas and armchairs are dirty - since 2008, because e. they are 9 years old. There is no liquid soap in the toilets, dirty sinks, very dirty toilets, scattered used toilet paper, it’s scary to touch the door handles, very dirty.
In the dining room you will be greeted by poorly washed dishes, dirty floors, dirty chairs, everything is dripping, air conditioning is weak, the air is musty everywhere, I believe that in the area where food is prepared, there is even more terrible unsanitary conditions !!!
Food quality is bad, for example, butter lies in large chunks without proper temperature storage, there is no rag napkin for bread, if you look at the area where food is prepared, you will see dirty cabinets, the stove on which everything is cooked burns due to dirt, vegetable oil is in short supply, you can write a lot about the dining room and everything is bad, unfortunately. In general, you can not visit the dining room! Waiters - often came new and not at all experienced. Very old, smelly and VERY dirty wheelchairs were used to clean dirty dishes.
Daily vacationers (especially children) complained of intestinal poisoning: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, symptoms of acute respiratory infections: sore throat, cough, snot. Many took constantly smecta, antibiotics. The most commonly used antibiotic here, according to the recommendations of local doctors, is metronidazole (an antiparasitic agent). There are dirty mattresses on the beach (probably since the opening of the hotel - since 2008, i. e. they are also 9 years old), there are always a lot of cigarette butts, plastic bottles and other garbage in the sand, water does not drain well in the shower, the drain is always clogged with sand, therefore, everyone has to stand in a large and dirty puddle. The spa only gives out beach towels, which are always in short supply (300 towels for 1500 deceived vacationers). To visit the sauna, they don’t give out bedding, there is mold everywhere in the showers, no shelves, no liquid soap, stale air, poor lighting, dirty lockers.
Gö zleme is cooked without gloves, cut into portions on a dirty board, fillings for cakes - chocolate, cheese, meat, potatoes look spoiled, flies crawl on them.
From time to time, the maintenance staff tries to wash the windows, the floor, etc. , but this is not done regularly and hastily.
In the room - Family room - for 4 days the neighbors from above drowned us, for 4 days they did not take any measures, they would come and look, say "ok" and leave, the stench was terrible in the room, they did not offer to move to a similar room, since everyone the rooms were allegedly occupied. . The safe in the room didn't work and it wasn't until the 13th day of our stay at 11:40 pm that the guy came to repair the safe. Bed linen was changed only once in two weeks (on the 7th day of stay), and shampoo and hair conditioner were also given out once in two weeks. The room has never been vacuumed, washed bath, sink and toilet. By the way, when we moved into this room, it was not cleaned: there was dried dirt in the bath, the mirror was all smeared, a small bar of soap and two small bottles with dried products (the inscriptions on which were from the previous hotel). Towels are changed once every three days and then on request and they can give out only three towels instead of 4, citing a shortage !!!
This hotel urgently needs to be closed as an epidemiologically dangerous object!! !
