We were followed by a girl who didn't speak English or Russian at all. Gestures showed to follow her - ok. We came, we stood, no one was going to accommodate us until the arrival of the owners. The owner came in another 20 minutes. Again, with gestures, they explained where to go.
They showed the room, ok, well, you can’t show much for 3 stars. We started unpacking things, saw that there was no toilet paper, only 2 chairs (there were three of us), and there were no large body towels. Only tiny for the face. There is only one towel for feet, it is for three people. Well, we think we'll ask later.
The hostess appeared, quite tolerably understanding and speaking Russian. They asked her for the above, at first she said ok, let's give it, but immediately her face changed. We left and returned three times, they put a chair on the floor below, it was apparently not fate to bring it into the room. But everything else is not. She has already been asked 3 times, again no. Once she first said that we do not give towels, then she lied (! ) That she had already given us - when I go I ask she tells your family she gave it, when they go they ask - she says that she has already given me. They also asked for the key to the safe, and this madam, knowing that we had number 12, specially gave keys with other numbers. I clarify why you give key number 6, she immediately loses Russian and she explains in her own way that she doesn’t know which key is suitable, try they say. So we played her game called run to the third floor (steep steps without elevator) four times.
I contacted the tour operator with a request to resolve the situation. In the evening of the second or third day we come to the hotel, again I say give towels, paper and a key, she immediately begins to resent why you are complaining. With a fight, I finally gave, but why should it be knocked out? By the way, then from the room during the "cleaning" we took small towels. Apparently, once the big ones were taken here for you. Cleaning can be called a stretch, just put all the shoes in a row and refill the bed. Nobody cleans the floor and the bathroom.
The owner of the hotel was at the same time everything, he saw everything perfectly, but was in no hurry to intervene in the situation. With him, she lied that she allegedly already gave towels. After that, whatever you ask them - for example, how to get through, can you borrow a corkscrew - everything is no no no and very rude. I don’t know why it’s so pitiful to give some kind of corkscrew if they themselves live all the time below and all this is probably there.
In general, a disgusting experience. In addition, the TV did not work, the bed linen was changed only once in all 9 days, there was someone's black hair on the pillowcase of the freshly bed linen. There were ants in the kitchen, but they didn’t run much (there is a photo). Hot water in the boiler was periodically turned off, as if they were doing it on purpose, but I don’t know for sure. In short, never set foot in this place again! Beware.
As for the cons. Be prepared for the fact that with suitcases you will have to walk 300 meters, as everyone is brought to Slovyanka Plaza. Not far from the hotel there is a busy road that every day had to cross going to the city or to the beach. The sidewalks are very small and the traffic is busy. It is very dangerous with children. The beach is located 500 meters, what they write is 300 if directly, but if you don’t get through, you need to go to the nearest traffic light, and then bypass the Slavyanka Plaza. Pay special attention to the weather forecast for your chosen holiday period. We're a little unlucky. The first three days it was 23-26 which is cool. The sea is only 23 degrees throughout the rest. Pebble beaches Slavic beach - large pebbles, Mogre - small pebbles. There are very small pebbles in Beci.
But for those who love mountains, this is your vacation. The mountains are a beauty indescribable. There are many of them and they are all different. It feels like the clouds are hanging on the mountains.
Who has money and wants to see the Crimea in the western performance, then you are here. Welcome to Montenegro.
Wifi is great, no interruptions. 7-10 minutes to the beach, 10-15 minutes to the old town.
The only negative for us was the lack of parking. Paid parking nearby 10-15 euros per night), I had to look for a place in the evenings in the narrow neighboring yards and streets
And now about the villa. Located in the center of Budva, behind the nuclear path, but in principle a convenient location. It is located in the yards, so there was no noise from the road. The villa is tidy. The owners live there, on the 1st floor. Our room was located on the 2nd floor somewhat non-standard in relation to the rest, in terms of the fact that our balcony was the only one on the other side, but this is so, by the way. The room is clean and tidy. Cleaning was done every day, towels changed every day, bed linen 1 or 2 times during the entire stay.
There was an ironing board and iron on the floor in good condition, so you don’t need to take your own).
The safe was in the closet.
The bathroom is in good condition, quite spacious, but there are few hooks for towels, but this is not so important. There was soap, toilet paper was brought constantly, so I didn’t have to buy it.
The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive.
Not far from the villa mesara and the market, the nearest beach is 10-12 minutes at a slow pace.
From the "-", broken hair dryer, but had his own; not very large towels; wi-fi did not work in our apartment, we had to either go to the first floor, or on the balcony in the corner closer to the entrance to the villa : ); there were problems with hot water, but as it turned out, only we, only we didn’t have a toggle switch for the boiler, so we had to harden ourselves under summer water)). That's probably all the cons.
I liked it, very good, standard room, with kitchen, balcony, satellite TV. Very welcoming and friendly hostess, met us from the airport from the bus and escorted us to the villa. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed, no complaints.
Near the villa there is a shop, a regular mini-market. There is also a good liquor store nearby where you can buy local wines.
To the beach on foot 7-10 minutes.
For a holiday in Montenegro is quite a good option.
10 minutes walk to the sea, many shops nearby, for those who want to save a little, I advise you to go to the butcher, where the meat is immediately sold and cooked - for free, on the grill... och. tasty)))
Montenegro is, of course, awesome nature, as from the picture.
check the bill in restaurants - they wanted to cheat us once... in vain, the waiter was left without a tip. Rest is expensive, for everything we gave 2500 euros. We ate mainly in cafes and restaurants... In the Jadran restaurant, be sure to order an octopus salad - just lick your fingers. my husband really liked the pizzas and grilled calamari, really good. tasty. we took fish of the 1st category - we didn’t feel much difference compared to other inhabitants of the sea... it’s better to take excursions from tour operators, this year they had the same prices as others offering. We made a mistake, took in the city and were unhappy with the canyons - the guide was silent and everything was in a frantic rhythm. But rafting is just super, yes, yes, and yes again, it’s worth regretting, honestly. In principle, for that kind of money in Turkey, you can Pts. good rest, much cooler, but that's my opinion. Have a good rest everyone
