- no one speaks Russian on Guest relations;
- there is no imported alcohol from the word at all;
- do not waste time on a la carte, the dining room tastes better and the assortment is larger;
- no more than half of the friendly staff, the rest you somehow got already;
- in the dining room, the staff mainly serves only foreigners, maybe because of the tip, maybe for other reasons;
- from fruits, only apples (sometimes delicious), plums (like you're biting grass), melons (if you cut off the peel, then it's normal), grapes (as you're lucky), sliced oranges, lemons, and, in fact, that's all. Oh yes, a watermelon was once seen among people, but where and who distributed it remained a mystery
- the food is absolutely the same every day, in 20 days we managed to understand this. In other hotels of this network, the choice of snacks is much larger: donuts, ice cream in balls and durums and much more;
- covid: masks are given out in the dining room, and they even measure the temperature at the entrance to dinner, but what's the point if the thermometer initially shows 1-2 degrees lower? Upon arrival, the temperature is measured with the same "calibrated" thermometer. Therefore, in principle, there can be no patients in this hotel;
- the housing stock is old or it seems that the handles on the doors fall off, the furniture is old, the mattress is squashed so much that I put a pillow in order not to roll off it, because even turning the mattress over to the other side did not help;
- complained about the fact that mosquitoes bite both me and the child at night, to which in other words I received the answer “you don’t have much left to endure”, more than a week has passed, and Turkish bites are still itchy;
- there was no daytime animation for adults, for children by appointment;
- carefully choose family rooms, because there are those in which one room has no windows, such rooms cannot even be ventilated, and in the warm season there is simply nothing to breathe;
- after October 20, we began to "survive": the already meager assortment of food became even scarcer, cleaning the room, floors turned into a formality, after 15 hours even beach towels ended, and to the question "where? " the staff answered: "tomorrow";
- they did not give out equipment for free games of minigolf and table tennis. Professionals will not be able to play tennis either, because the concrete slabs are shaking, the court is actually 1, not two, as indicated in the description;
- smokers were very nervous both at the tables in the dining room and on the beach. Well, if the hotel is a family, then it is probably assumed that there are a lot of children there, so perhaps they should somehow be protected from cigarette smoke?
- free mini-bar in the room apparently because there is nothing but water and soda;
- my wife had a birthday, the hotel certainly congratulated us with a plate of fruit, but it was the same tasteless ones from the dining room. In other hotels, it is customary to give a card and a bottle of wine in addition to fruit;
- in the village of Bogazkent, where the hotel is located, there is a strong smell of burning at night, so the balcony cannot be opened;
- on the playground some swings are already broken, maybe because the end of the season.
For objectivity, I’ll say that there are pluses in the form of a coffee machine with natural coffee, clean shared toilets, changing room towels every day, there are Migros and other supermarkets in the village, and on Wednesdays there is a bazaar where we bought incomparable figs, strawberries, dates. The area itself is quite beautiful and well-groomed.
We will not return to this hotel and its chain.
I will say right away - the staff at the hotel understands only Turkish and somehow English. There are no Russian-speaking managers in the hotel. I consider this a big minus, since the hotel is mainly focused on Russian tourists.
- Upon arrival, our suitcases were taken for disinfection. Also, antiseptics hang at every step and masks are given out. There are also markings on the floor for social distancing. Well done, there were no issues with this.
- There were no evening shows, as well as children's discos. It's all because of the virus.
- Slides, swimming pools with jacuzzi, playground - everything is there.
- Cleaned the room well. The mini-bar was always replenished, sheets and towels were changed.
- Pleased with the guest relations manager Yazgul. The girl is always happy to help and suggest (but, of course, in English).
- Nearby there are shops where you can buy goodies home (Migros, Shok, Bim, A101), as well as pharmacies and souvenir shops.
It can be seen that the rest is focused on families with small children, calm, fun and provocatively, the youth-party atmosphere is clearly not about him : ) The 2nd plus from what I would highlight is the service, it deserves its 5 stars, twice masters, everything is fast and high quality. Cleaning is also on top, the hotel and the rooms are clean and tidy. 3rd - food, also solid 5, everything is tasty and quite varied. Perhaps someone is waiting for lobsters with red caviar... I think this applies to hotels of a higher class.
4th - nice buns like a free safe, excellent Wi-Fi in the rooms and on the territory, food everywhere and everywhere, ice cream without straining in line for a bow, etc.
5th - a nightly show program is beyond praise, here you have a circus, dances, and entertainment shows. For children, there is also entertainment during the day in the form of animators, a game room and various quests / competitions. Why put 9 out of 10 - the playground is relatively small, you can add something for a change, but there is an awning from the sun.
In short, in general, I, children, parents are very satisfied with their stay at Crystal Family. I plan to return.
Checked in late, around zero hours 16.06. They offered a late dinner, from food only rice and chicken, but it doesn’t matter, we had a bite, settled in, went to bed.
Now in more detail:
Number. Very, very tired. The window in a small room does not close, the shower is leaking, the furniture is all scratched and painted with pencils and pens, the door to the balcony does not close with a lock, one bedside table is pulled together by the corners, apparently someone broke it earlier. There is no shower tray as such. The drain fails and the water overflows through the glass partition onto the bathroom floor. In short, an urgent renovation is needed! Another year or two and it will be absolutely terrible! In general, everything worked: the air conditioner, and the refrigerator, and the TVs, but the shortcomings described above spoiled the impression, which, in my opinion, is made up of little things. For all that, the price of this hotel is not at all budgetary and is comparable to more comfortable hotels, for example, in Side.
Territory. Compact. From the room to the beach, across the entire territory, 5 - 7 min. leisurely. For us, this is a plus. You don't have to go far. Everything is within walking distance: bars, snacks, swimming pools, the sea, everything is nearby. I will not describe the territory in detail, if anyone is interested, write in the comments.
Beach. I will single it out separately. The second disappointment after the number! The hotel positions the beach as "with small pebbles and sand. " In fact, it's only in the lounge area. The approach to the sea and entry into it is not very convenient! Without slippers it is not at all comfortable to enter and especially leave the sea even for adults, not to mention children! The criterion for choosing a hotel was, among other things, the beach, but alas!
Nutrition. Basically, there are no questions. The poorest choice is for breakfast. But there is porridge, eggs in all forms and even soup. But from day to day the set remains about the same. Lunch and dinner are quite varied: meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, salads, etc. Everything is. Something is always fried on the grill, there are no queues, there are enough places. If you do not collect everything at once, and then leave half on a plate, then you can eat very varied food for 10 days, trying something new every day.
At lunch and dinner there is strong alcohol. Or the waiter will ask and bring it, or you can take it yourself at the bar, no problem.
The only, small minus is the seating at the tables. There are tables for 2.6, 8 and even, in my opinion, 10 people. But there are only a few tables for four. This is not a problem when there are a lot of empty seats, but when the restaurant is full, it turns out that three or four people sit at a quadruple or eighth table. And it seems there are free places, but you have to sit down with strangers. Like in the dining room.
In general, the hotel left a double impression. Everything seems to be good, but the room and the beach spoiled the impression. Probably would not recommend. For such a price in Side you can find a more worthy offer.
- on the first day on the beach, among the hotel guests, we met a child with chickenpox. Most likely, his parents do not consider this disease dangerous, because they did not rest somewhere on the sidelines, but simply in the middle of the beach, among pregnant women, small infants and just adults. A few days later, upon arrival home, we had this very chickenpox and had been ill
- Very poor soundproofing. Our windows overlooked the tennis courts and, accordingly, the neighboring TUI day&night hotel. Before the disco ended in a nearby hotel, we never managed to fall asleep, and the disco until 12 at night and with the windows and doors closed in our room, the Music was screaming as if we were in the center of the dance floor (and I'm not exaggerating). And according to the regime, our child should fall asleep at 21 ....
- housekeeping...
well, the maid, throughout the rest, decided that two sets of mini cosmetics and one shower cap would be enough for three adults
- Free access to a restaurant of your choice. In fact, you need to sign up in advance, almost on the day of arrival, as certain restaurants work on certain days
Probably, this is all of the super obvious minuses. After all, the purpose of the trip was not to look for the bad.
PROS
- clean and tidy area
- friendly staff (without any problems they changed the room that overlooked the wall and air conditioners from the kitchen)
- very tasty and varied food
- excellent children's table and dietary table (milk, yoghurts, canned baby food)
- clean beach and sea
- a huge abundance of sweets throughout the day
- clean, beautiful pools
- not bad animation
- wi-fi is not bad, but it doesn’t take on the beach and in the rooms (but we came to relax, you can wi-fi at home)
- decent repair in the rooms
- excellent quality mini cosmetics
!!!!! ! And now a review of the work of an employee of a travel agency in a hotel.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that the tour operator provides us with the opportunity to travel to Antalya for shopping. Previously, we met with a representative of Tez-Tour Akhmat Shayev (the coordinator of our stay in Belek). Akhmat described this trip as follows: at the expense of the company, we give you a car, a driver and a guide. Together with them you go to Antalya to the largest shopping centers. I expressed my wishes regarding the shops and Akhmat drew up a map of our route on his tablet and set the time of departure. I remind you that we rested with a 9-month-old baby. At the appointed time and day, the driver, guide and Akhmat were late (with a view, as in the order of things). On the way to Antalya, I once again expressed my wishes to the guide regarding specific shopping centers. The guide's surprise knew no bounds.
We spent 3 minutes on shopping and 60 minutes on the road. And they didn't buy ANYTHING. It would be better to spend this time at sea. So, this is how much you need to be greedy for money, so that despite the heat, just like that, try to make money on people with a small child, who was simply transported in a car.
The hotel area is small, but everything is compact and within easy reach. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive. Room cleaning is good.
With food, everything was at the highest level, but some soups and, for example, potatoes were spicy, which is not very good for children. Try it yourself before giving it to a child!
The weather for this time of the year was excellent +26. . . +28. But the sea is already cool, one might say refreshing. The beach is sandy, when entering the sea small pebbles. There is always fresh fruit on the beach.
In the outdoor pools, the water is cold enough, which is good for an outside temperature of +35, but no less.
There is a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. My daughter enjoyed swimming there.
The animation was wonderful, varied - with the performance of acrobats and national dance ensembles.
There was also live music, karaoke for amateurs and a disco for children. The girls who work in the mini-club are very friendly.
My wife went to the SPA for a massage - she really liked it.
You can also go to the sauna and Turkish bath - hammam - completely free.
The hotel has everything for a family holiday - I advise everyone!
Pros: Convinced of my right decision to choose a compact hotel. Everything is nearby! It's very convenient. The territory is not for romantic walks of couples in love, but competently and successfully designed for families with children! When you are with a small child, you have no time to run in the forest, but you see everything and have time everywhere.
- Meals 24 hours a day. It's true. Sometimes we didn't go to a restaurant for lunch because There is always something to eat on site. From 12 to 17h. watermelons, melons, gozleme (very tasty) 4 toppings, restaurant by the pool. At 5 p. m. , a baby potato, at 6 p. m. , hot dogs are made near the beach. Well, from 19 to 21.30 it's already dinner. From 23.30 to 0.30 - late dinner. And from 3 to 6 hours - a light breakfast (bread, cheese, some vegetables, drinks) From 8 to 10 - breakfast. From 10 to 12 continental breakfast. Ice cream - all day. The children's lunch from 12 to 13 was on the territory of the club, but on our last day it was transferred to another room (I don't know where) because of the heat.
-I must say right away that for those who care about the view from the room or absolute silence, you should not consider this hotel. Because sea view only in rooms located at the end of 2 of the 4 buildings. It's very few rooms. Look at the photo of the hotel and calculate what is the probability that the room will be free. All other views leave much to be desired: either on a neighboring hotel, or on the neighbors of another building, or a road with a construction site. We were lucky with the room, the view was on the sea, ie. to the territory. It was believed that we were on the 1st floor, although in reality it is the 2nd floor, because the first is infrastructure. I liked it for 1, because a balcony-loggia and is practically invisible from the territory, and even more so to the neighbors. You can even go naked. But! You can hear all night animation until 23.30. True, the noise is heard in any room, practically, because. if the view is on the road and the construction site (this is the end of the building opposite the sea) - at 9 am the work starts, but it is quiet at night, in the morning you can hear the mosque a little. If the side numbers - then the animation of other hotels. It can be quiet in rooms facing the inner area. It seemed to me that the sea view rooms are for couples with one large bed (I asked for this), and not with two beds. Well, sort of like for romance - a view of the sea. For children, a third bed is provided. These rooms do not have internal connecting doors. (I've heard of this one, though it's very noisy). Moreover, our building 3 is located above the restaurant and kitchen - no sound!
- Room cleaning is normal. At my request, towels were changed almost every day. From the set in the bathroom: shampoo with conditioner, soap, a set of cotton pads and sticks, a hat, sanitary bags. Tipped twice. I didn’t hear about theft either, I left the camera and the iPhone calmly. The money was in the safe and in the suitcase. Everything is whole.
- For $ 7 you will pack a suitcase at the reception.
- The animation is great. in fact, all the guest shows are on schedule for two weeks. Then a repeat. No self-activity. The only day - 1 in 2 weeks - is a show of vacationing children - a performance. We were lucky to take part in it. Girls in children's animation are just smart. are trying. many kids just don't get out of the club. You can hand over a child under their supervision from 10 to 12 and 14 to 17. Or the children just run around themselves back and forth (who are older). Parents can also be with the child and participate in activities. there are activities for a separate fee: decorate the T-shirt yourself and then take it away (t-shirts are given in a choice of different sizes and patterns) - $ 15, banana riding - $ 13, various outdoor events (we did not participate), decorate the sticker with colored sand - 10$. And the whole day of the event according to the schedule (although they suffer from the information component, it is better to ask about the planned events). You can just sit and color or watch cartoons, or just play in the game room. A children's disco is just a holiday for children! Adult daytime animation is also enough, basically, it's an activity. But I was not up to her.
- There is a cinema, a hall with automatic machines and carousels for lyalek.
- Pools 4:35 cm deep with slides for puppies, 50 cm - with slides up to 10 years old, 110 cm - adult slides and 145 cm - without slides for swimming. Slides are open from 10 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4 pm.
- The beach is big enough. On the sand, outside the sun lounger, you can lie and run (I read reviews about bans due to turtles). No restrictions. There are pebbles in front of the entrance to the sea. It spoils the experience a bit. True, it is not very pleasant to enter and exit the sea, especially when there are waves. But then you can play with pebbles, collect them. We brought for our turtle. The depth, in fact, is a couple of meters, but for swimming this is normal and, at the same time, it is possible to just lie on the shore. The water is clean - I swam to the buoys, you can see the bottom.
Cons: dirty toilets on site. Especially preschool, because. children run there themselves....Apparently, they rarely clean it. I even noted it in the questionnaire.
- The lack of baby food in my opinion. Although, the question is debatable, probably - who is used to eating what. Soups - puree or tomato, lamb cutlets (daughter does not like all this), different flakes, but my child did not like them (and we are lovers of flakes with milk). Saved by chicken and beef. There are yogurts, of course, but we don't like them either. In general, the taste and color . . Lunch at the children's club is not from any special dishes, but simply a minimal set from the general menu. We only ate there twice.
As for the village - next to the hotel there is a complex: shops, a pharmacy, a fruit market. There are several such complexes. I bought all the gifts there, in the pharmacy the prices for medicines are normal, for sunscreen products - high. There is a shop in the hotel. But prices are higher.
The contingent in the hotel is as follows: 50% Turks, 20% Asians (Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan), 20% Russians, Ukraine, 10% Germans. At least that's how it was on our trip. The Turks, of course, are impudent - they feel like masters, children - Asians behave a little wildly.
I went with Tez, the guide Murat is quite friendly. We did not take tickets from him. I can't say anything bad about him. We talked at least. The only negative to Tezu is the transfer time to the hotel: a huge bus for 50 people. we collected an hour, then another 2 hours drove to the hotel. This is very long considering the fact that it is 40 km from the airport to the hotel. We need small buses (such as minibuses). Other operators deliver in 1 hour. and it doesn't take so long to gather people. I felt sorry for the wasted time.
In general, everything is fine! The overall atmosphere is warm and supportive. I recommend this hotel for families with children!
Disadvantages:
I didn’t quite like the adult animation and the fact that the girl runs the process. It's kind of boring or something. . . and monotonous. . .
But the children's animation is very good!
Very small rooms of the Family category, I would say that this is a standard, stupidly divided in half, and moreover, in such a way that you can’t turn around... The air conditioner practically didn’t work in them and turned off all the time.
The hotel "Siam" was madly straining, the windows overlooked it, in no case do not settle on this side of the hotel !! ! This went on day after day, everyone was outraged!
I will note the advantages, in my opinion:
The food is very high quality, everything is always fresh and cooked in the best possible way. One could wish for a little variety, especially in the choice of meat and fish products, and of course FRUITS!
In bars, a variety of cocktails and drinks, while not cheap Turkish, but cheaper imported analogues (for example, instead of Campari, a slightly cheaper Manini). The staff at the hotel is very polite and friendly, I would like to note this. From check in to check out the service was excellent.
Despite all these shortcomings, the rest turned out to be very good and measured. The atmosphere is very relaxing, just what you need after a busy day at work and school! Family hotel, great for couples with children under the age of 14)
I wish you a great trip!
