The territory of the hotel is small, little green, but quite cozy. The beach is really 10-20 meters. The beach is huge, spacious, remote from others. The sea is clearest when it's not stormy. We had 3 days of quiet, the rest of the time there were waves. But it's also great to jump on the waves. The food is delicious. Drinking too. Beer and especially cognac. True, there are very few Russians in the hotel, mostly Germans and the staff is not ALLO in Russian.
In general, the hotel is good, ideal for a quiet holiday with children. If you want to lie on the beach like seals, Dimitrios is the place to be. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city of Rethymno, where you can have a good time. If you rent a car, the guide at the hotel costs 40 euros per day. It is better to find a rental office near the hotel. They are there in bulk and cars are 2 times cheaper.
Of the minuses - on the beach 2 sunbeds with an umbrella cost 6 euros. Evenings at the hotel are boring. All animation for children is in German, but for adults there is none at all.
And yet, if you are in Crete, be sure to try their olive cosmetics and soap.
Breakfast is the same everywhere in Greece - European. Dinner - 2 types of hot and 3 types of side dishes, plus salads, snacks. Not enough fruit. And dessert - 2 kinds. Mostly Germans, British, few French, there are Poles. There are very few Russians. The service staff speaks English. Car rental without deposits. Category B - 26 Euro per day.
We rested in the studio. And there are suites and apartments with a jacuzzi and two-level. For every taste. Playground.
At sea, there is no entertainment near the hotel, because. it is on the outskirts of the city. In general, we were very pleased. We had fun ourselves, dangled where we wanted. The rooms are all equipped with crockery and kitchen equipment.
