I read the reviews about this hotel before choosing, but I was wrong. They fed terribly, my child always walked half-starved, than he gives everything away. . . not good. A very meager assortment of fruits, and this is in the summer: only watermelons, a few melons and oranges, there weren’t even simple apples, I had to buy fruits in the store. And many Russians, with whom I spoke, also did not like the food, it is impossible to eat even sausage there (and all 3 types that were). And as they say: they didn’t cackle a little (for breakfast, almost one egg, but in a different form). Problems of a purely technical nature, then the kettle was changed three times, then the TV does not work, then there is no Russian channel, and so on trifles. . And moreover, the staff does not speak Russian at all. . . The territory is small, nowhere to go, there was no animation, 5 days before departure, a children's club began to work. . Yes, the island is beautiful, there are places to go on excursions, although they are very expensive, but. . . spent most of their time at the hotel. . . therefore, the rest did not cause any positive emotions. . . And the price for vouchers for this hotel is taken as for 4 *.

A very neat hotel for families and holidays with small children. Located right on the seashore (for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella 6 euros. Or you can right on the sand! 3 small pools, a very cool pool, a fountain, with slides for children. There is children's animation , every day, but very weak and in Polish.

"All inclusive" - we liked the food. The menu always had meat, fish dishes. There were also seafood. 2-3 times a week they showed different performances. The rooms are large, clean, with mini kitchen. Free parking nearby for rented cars. Rethymno can be reached on foot along the promenade, you can take the bus 0.60 cents per person.

Rested in Dimitrios from 20 to 27 July 2008 in four: two adults and two children. We lived in apartments. This is a suite consisting of two rooms, a small corridor and a toilet. The room is simple, but everything is clean and decent. One room has a large double bed, the other has two separate beds and a fully equipped kitchen.

We had 3 days of quiet, the rest of the time there were waves. But it's also great to jump on the waves. The food is delicious. Drinking too. Beer and especially cognac. True, there are very few Russians in the hotel, mostly Germans and the staff is not ALLO in Russian.
In general, the hotel is good, ideal for a quiet holiday with children. If you want to lie on the beach like seals, Dimitrios is the place to be. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city of Rethymno, where you can have a good time. If you rent a car, the guide at the hotel costs 40 euros per day. It is better to find a rental office near the hotel. They are there in bulk and cars are 2 times cheaper.
Of the minuses - on the beach 2 sunbeds with an umbrella cost 6 euros. Evenings at the hotel are boring. All animation for children is in German, but for adults there is none at all.
And yet, if you are in Crete, be sure to try their olive cosmetics and soap.
