But this region also has its disadvantages.
And now in more detail
We arrived at Antalya airport, waited for a long time for our luggage (we booked an individual transfer in advance, since we arrived at 10 and wanted to be at the hotel as soon as possible, we were afraid that he would leave. We bought a SIM card at the airport and bought alcohol at the depot).
Fortunately, after 50 minutes they started handing out luggage; it turns out there was a problem with the baggage bag on our arrival. We took our luggage and went to look for a sign with our names. We were met by a minivan and got there very quickly. In about 2 hours with a short sanitary stop.
Check-in took place instantly, we handed over our documents, put on bracelets and followed the staff as they carried our suitcases to our room.
After which there was great disappointment (((we had booked a standard plus room, or so to speak, increased comfort or a view of the pool or sea.
When we entered, we saw something completely different (firstly, the room was old, and secondly, it was not even close to the described comfort plus (but fortunately no one began to argue and instantly from the same number the porter called the reception and we were transferred to a normal room.
The room was as usual, there were shower gels, shampoos, soaps and even caps, regular drinking bottled water was on the table
Imagine our surprise that our flight, or rather the tourists from our flight, arrived only at 7 pm (((since someone had lost their luggage (
At that moment we felt lucky, since we arrived on our own; before the trip, as experienced tourists, we thought about renting a car, but at the airport or even by ordering from local agents it is expensive. We ordered tours from Alik in a group on VK, based on the reviews given in the description of this hotel.
We have already paid after the fact. We were satisfied with the service.
But everything is in order
Food - I can’t say it’s luxurious, but you definitely won’t be hungry, eat everything, fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, Turkish-style desserts and various types of biscuits, that is, you are guaranteed to be overweight) and those who write that the food is not at all, I don’t know what they expected from a hotel of such a rating. Personally, we were more than satisfied with the food. But for a change we visited local cafes instead of dinner
We bought alcohol at duty; at the hotel we only took beer, but the purchased alcohol was not praised, so we bought whiskey at the Migros supermarket.
As for the beach, we didn’t like the beach at all (((you need to look for a convenient entrance, and there are always a lot of people there
We went to Cleopatra Beach ourselves, this is the calling card of this region and for anyone who hasn’t been there, I highly recommend that a cable car was installed on Cleopatra Beach last year!!! ! Great review.
Animation in the hotel
There was always some kind of lively movement, but we were not particularly interested in this; for parents with children this may be a determining factor, but here I cannot adequately assess it (
According to the comments: everyone in the hotel complains that there is no Internet, and many times this happened when tourists saw us sitting on social networks to “distribute” the network to them. Since we bought a SIM card upon arrival with traffic included. True, they overpaid a lot, they paid about 20 dollars,
Overall, we are satisfied with the service and the hotel
Will we recommend him? Most likely not, but a huge but. If you are looking for a beach holiday when leaving the hotel, then you will get bored with Loxia. We walked, went to cafes, went on jeep safari and yacht tours, and went to the club, so to speak, spent our vacation as actively as possible! Therefore, we were 100% satisfied!
Thanks to the hotel staff for the service provided, to Alik’s travel agency for the transfer and excursion, and finally to Turkey for the warm welcome, as always!
The operator from TUI convinced us that this particular hotel was good, but there were bad reviews 1st - 3 months, 2nd in 1 year.
We are 2 adults and a 5 year old child.
For 10 days, the operator took 30 thousand UAH.
There is always a lot of food: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, desserts.
2 bars on the pool.
Bar on the beach.
Lobby bar.
Lots of beer (at every bar).
Bar in the restaurant.
Many other liquor (all local), imported. whiskey "VAT 69" only on the forehead.
Rooms are clean and appliances work great.
Cleaned often, the view from the balcony is a bomb!
We expected it to be a little better than Egypt, but everything here is pleasant.
And the staff rustles constantly, polite and friendly!
On the beach, the entrance to the sea is hard, stones, waves knock you down.
But we are satisfied and expected another - much worse.
Thanks to all!
We went with a group of 4 people (2 couples).
At the stage of choosing a hotel, we reviewed a lot of information and, naturally, negative reviews prevailed everywhere.
When we were already very tired with the choice of a place, the tour operator (Tui) offered an excellent price option, which was even lower than our budget, and we decided not to read anything special and accept this offer!
In which they were subsequently satisfied.
Flight Zaporozhye-Antalya, 2 hours 15 minutes, UIA.
Then a quick transfer to the hotel, a short distance of 140 km, we drove, it seems, in 2.5 hours, 2 hotels were brought along the way, there were 12 people in the cabin in total. Such a transfer was announced initially and, by and large, we were completely satisfied.
We settled into the hotel almost immediately, we were lucky with the view from the room (on the sea and the pool) and the floor (number 1120), because sometimes you have to wait a long time for elevators, but we had to climb 2 flights on foot.
However, the air conditioner is old and does not cope well in the heat. We solved this problem by taking another key-card as a deposit and did not turn it off at all. The room itself was comfortable.
There was cleaning, the swans were not spun, but we did not pay much attention to this.
The key to the safe at the reception, $ 10 deposit, they gave it to the eviction.
Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and on the beach. I had enough for work and video calls completely.
There is no hotel territory as such, a pool and bars. But everything is very cool. Beer bar with Becks and Ephesus on the roof was especially fond of.
There have never been problems with alcohol, though all cocktails are based on local alcohol, but you can throw up if you wish.
The food is also varied, you definitely won’t go hungry, especially for dinner. There are practically no queues in the restaurant, only during rush hour. You need to go either exactly to the opening (19:00) or in an hour, when there will be a large selection of places.
In the afternoon, from 12 to 16, a Snack bar with hamburgers, fries and ice cream opens by the pool.
Animation is so-so, we were not particularly interested in it.
There are a lot of places near the pool, but from the very morning people actively occupy them and by 10 o’clock you can’t find a place, but again we weren’t interested, we arrived at the sea. Which amazed us with its purity. It's also very salty. The only negative thing is the entrance to the sea, it is very inconvenient, large and uneven stones. Be sure to buy safety shoes for yourself, otherwise your legs will be cut with shells. But we were ready for that too.
You can lie in the sun for at least a whole day, it is very pleasant, not as sizzling as in Kirillovka)
I also liked the environment (nature) around the hotel.
Went on Saturday to the local market, divorced us like children. Although we knew this and seemed to be ready, but the pros work there) But we were interested in this flavor itself. You need to bargain with them unequivocally and immediately cut the prices in half.
Hotel guides (charlatans) are pushing their excursions, scaring you with quarantine restrictions and the ineffectiveness of insurance, if you do not contact them. We fell for them, took a 5 in 1 tour, $ 55 per person. As a result, we traveled more on the minibus than the active rest itself was. Therefore, I do not advise if you do not have much time.
In general, we really liked everything!
We will have the opportunity to come back here again.
It all started with the fact that when we arrived at the hotel we were met, not in the best way. Be prepared for the fact that you can arrive at 8 am, you will be waiting in the lobby until 14:00 and will not be able to go out to sea and go to the sunbeds as you need to be near the reception. So-so prospect if you haven't slept one day.
Let's continue, the next day we noticed that there was a stranger in our room and said that I had the wrong number (I will clarify the situation - the key to the issued number should open only your room, not someone else's). When clarifying the situation, it turns out our card can also open the number, but not next to our number, but upstairs. That is a great prospect so that in the first days before all this you can still be robbed and it will not be the fault of the "prestigious hotel" Fun & Sun.
We were told that this case happens 1 in 100 times and this is a mistake that has not happened before. Let's say, but this situation happened not only to us, so it's hard to believe that we are the same. Thank God our things were in place and we didn't have to worry about being robbed.
There is a great entertainment program, but if you do not drink alcohol and you do not have great company, consider that there is only music playing by the pool from 11-12 to 17 pm.
Apparently, the best thing that can be, that is, the only thing - it's cuisine, it is and it is surprisingly tasty, without a sea of food (sometimes there was fish), so you will not stay hungry, except for breakfast (it's awful).
Another plus that is - it's a bar, you will pour cocktails and beer, not in large quantities, of course, and so-so in quality.
Let's get to the highlight of our review, these are stolen (cleaned) towels from the hotel.
On the eve of departure, we left towels and personal belongings in the hotel (by the pool) and what was our surprise when we returned from the hotel and the towels were strangely gone. Before leaving, we came to the reception and explained the situation, to which we were told "sorry for our problems, pay the fine. " Of course, we were shocked, because eyewitnesses saw that the towels were taken away by hotel staff. Then we asked to watch the video surveillance cameras to prove that we did not steal them and did not ruin them and again we were told "we can not watch and this is not our problem, pay the money. " SHOCK, how come the hotel administrator is not interested in helping resolve the situation? Our next steps:
1. Please call the police - we are told that they called, but it's a lie (no one came for 45 minutes);
2. Please call the hotel manager, again - no one was called;
3.
We were told to pay only in cash and here we understand that this is a clean water scheme for the divorce of tourists.
We managed to write a statement to the fun & sun smart club prestige hotel, but had to pay for this corruption scheme, though through the terminal (photo attached).
The amount for which we were deceived 60 Euros!
Given all the above, I do not recommend this hotel in any case. It will be a holiday where you will be stressed not only from such moments, at best, but also will be deceived and abandoned.
1/10.
The hotel rooms are clean and cleaned every day. There is no kettle, tea/coffee and shower facilities in the room. For those whose hair needs styling, it is better to bring a hair dryer. True, there is no good coffee anywhere in this hotel. So lovers of this drink in this hotel will be difficult.
From entertainment there are only slides for children and a bar for adults. There are no other entertainment programs, parties and discos here. The hotel does not have its own territory. With children, they went out for a walk to the playgrounds near residential buildings. Sun loungers on the beach and near the pool were always free. I admit that during the peak season they will be missed. French fries, burgers, nuggets and ice cream can be enjoyed on the beach.
My conclusion about this hotel is this: with a company it will be comfortable to rest there, without a company it will be boring. It is possible to relax, but it is better to choose another hotel.
The hotel is located 10 km outside of Alanya, it took 2.5 hours to drive from Antalya Airport. We arrived around 2 am. An employee of the hotel came out, took our things and led us to the reception. They gave me room 1227, second floor. Things were carried, the number was shown. So check in was quick and easy.
Number. We woke up in the morning and started watching. In a word - sadness... Everything is shabby, the front door closes very poorly, poorly cleaned, garbage from previous guests, the refrigerator does not work, the air conditioner barely blows, there are no shampoos and various gels (only liquid soap), there is no kettle with cups, no hairdryer it is possible to dry your hair, the toilet is leaking (as a result, there is constant noise and condensation on the floor), a painted bathroom with peeling paint and a cherry - old plastic chairs on the balcony (like in liqueurs) from a table from the beach, which is near the sun loungers, i. e. below the level of the chair seats. To be fair, bed linen and towels are clean, no stains, smell nice. As for cleaning, every day they come and offer cleaning and change of linen. For the experiment, I go almost every day and ask to repair the refrigerator, each time they write down the application and say that they will fix it, but nothing happens on the fifth day.
Territory. In fact, there is no hotel territory, a small pool with three slides and a children's pool. Not enough for a hotel with so many rooms.
Nutrition. Due to the coronavirus, there is no buffet, all dishes are served by employees. Accordingly, the choice of dishes is very limited and does not shine with variety. There are no frills in food. But, the cooks are clearly here "not in vain they eat their bread", they cook well, tasty and satisfying. You won't be left hungry. Drinks include tea, coffee, juices (such as Jupi), beer, white and rose wine. The wine is just awful, just tinted water.
In general, with regard to alcoholic beverages, there is a TROUBLE here... All drinks are locally produced and apparently the worst there is... The wine is diluted so that there is no taste at all. Whiskey is a sweet liquor. Gin - I can't describe it at all. Vodka is sweet water. Beer - the taste is normal, but apparently non-alcoholic, drank 8 glasses in the sun, even a little drunk. I also drank ten servings of their "gin" / "whiskey" and again sober as a glass. Or you need to drink a bucket or go sober. And this is not the first time I have a rest and I know what kind of local alcohol, but here it’s generally a disaster.
Beach/sea. Sand with pebbles. The sea is constantly stormy (this is of course not the fault of the hotel). Entry into the sea is very difficult due to large stones and slabs, without special shoes it is difficult to enter and easily injured. Children simply cannot go into such a sea, it is dangerous. Sun loungers, in principle, are enough. The beach is almost never cleaned, only large rubbish, different covers, gobies, pieces of paper and so on are scattered everywhere. There is a beach bar. Pour beer and soft drinks, prepare burgers and fries (very well prepared).
The hotel itself is very stuffy.
There is almost no animation: a playground, children's dances in the evening. There is no adult animation.
There is almost nowhere to walk outside the territory. There are no sights at all nearby, only go to Alanya. Just a variety of shops and restaurants. By the way, prices in stores are very low, clothes can be bought almost two times cheaper than in Ukraine, if you find something suitable for yourself.
As for the Internet, it makes no sense to pay for Wi-Fi in a hotel, it’s easier to buy a SIM card for $ 20 for 20 gigabytes and distribute it with an access point to other devices. Mobile internet is good.
Grand total. The hotel is not that 5-ka, even up to 4-ki does not hold out. Very weak. The price is low, but for this cost you can pick up a normal 4-ku.
I do not recommend.
We paid for the safe - $1 per day and wi-fi - $17 per week (for one phone).
The hotel has a hamam, a full set of hammam + massage costs $ 15 (I think it's discounted : ) ).
We rented a room for two, but in addition to a double bed, there was also a single bed and an armchair in the room.
From the balcony there was a wonderful view of the mountain, which was behind the hotel, and the sea (in the evenings we watched the sun set in the sea), the Alanya fortress was visible in the distance.
The beach is across the road. From the hotel there is an underground passage to the beach. There were enough beds. There were no mattresses. In this area, the entrance to the sea is very specific. A slab stretches along the entire coast of Mahmutlar, which is broken in the area of hotel beaches for a more convenient entry into the sea (there are also pontoons). The bottom is strewn with large stones, the remains of a slab, so you can’t do without “corrals” here. We bought them as soon as we arrived.
The sea itself is very restless, it is not suitable for children, but for those who like to jump on the waves - this is it.
At the entrance to the hotel restaurant, the temperature was taken and masks must be worn. You do not collect food yourself, but the waiters impose what you tell them. There was meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits, soups. There are not very many sweets, mostly on a jelly basis. Tea, coffee and other drinks were also poured by the waiters.
It is stuffy in the middle of the hotel itself, there either the air conditioners do not cope or they are not there at all. But the air conditioning in the room works well. There is no air conditioning in the restaurant either, the windows are open for ventilation.
In the evenings there was entertainment by the pool. I liked the repertoire of songs, there were both old English and Turkish songs, a little in Russian (but not chanson! ), as well as live music.
And another important point - people in wheelchairs can relax in the hotel.
The overall impression of the hotel is very good. Up to 5 stars, of course, does not hold out, I could give 4+. If not for the entrance to the sea, I would return to this hotel.
