Annoying cleaners who will break into your door even if there is a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. At breakfast or dinner, you may "forget" to come with tea / coffee, etc. The restaurant is generally slow service.
The food is basically normal, you can eat, but for lovers of gastronomic delights there is absolutely nothing to do here.
I could well recommend the hotel to friends or would like to return there myself, if not for one "but". When I left, I left my winter jacket in the closet. Do not ask how - there were a lot of suitcases, a lot of people, and "I thought about it, but I forgot to take it. " I remembered it only when I was on the bus on the way to the airport. There was no time to return - they were taken away in time for the flight right back to back. I called the guide, the hotel, the host. Everyone said yes, they will. We had friends there, and theoretically it was possible to transfer this jacket through them. However, the jacket mysteriously "evaporated". I called, they told me that "there is nothing in the room. " However, when our friend came to the hotel reception, they brought her a men's (!!! ) sweatshirt under the guise of my jacket, dirty, old and full of holes. It feels like it's just being bullied. I was told that "the room was empty. "
I got everyone to their feet, however, to no avail.
Connecting to the issue of a local guide from the host did not give anything. The guide's name was Sheriff, maybe someone else will stumble upon him. Absolutely none, he didn’t tell anything about excursions, didn’t warn, for example, that in Jordan it’s not +20, but +5, people went in sandals and windbreakers !! ! Well, with a jacket did not help, of course. For half a day his phone was completely silent, then he cut through, but he could no longer do anything, for something he only bleated unintelligibly.
In general, dear tourists, of course, it is up to you to decide, but I just want to warn everyone - you are on vacation, no one is responsible for you and your things, be as vigilant as dishonest people work in the hotel.
By the way, I wrote to the head office of the Iberotel, hoping that the Europeans would be more responsible. No answer. So in the future this hotel will manage without my orders, we will try our luck somewhere else.
TERRITORY: Quite green, small, well-groomed. I like it.
FOOD: This is the biggest minus of this hotel. It's disgusting. The food is monotonous, cheap and tasteless. Same pasta and rice every day. There was meat, chicken and fish, but they were not tasty. Breakfast was disgusting sausages. The food was almost always either too salty or too spicy or with some kind of spice that made me sick. By the end of the second week, I was becoming despondent at the thought of the upcoming visit to their dining room. Sandwiches on the beach are bread with a slice of cheese and a tomato. The sweet table looks plentiful, but almost all the cakes taste the same, differ only in the dyes used and are decorated with one banana and the other melon. In general, the main component of cakes is gelatin and dyes. My husband and parents had the same opinion about the quality of food. The only thing that was delicious was non-alcoholic All Inclusive cocktails.
It was also very annoying that ALL the drinks were served by the waiters, which means that in order to drink something (even just tea or water) you had to wait until they approached you. It is very annoying when, instead of going and pouring yourself boiling water from the boiler, you have to wait for someone, then ask, then wait for them to bring... And then again and again if you want something else. The waiters only speak English.
Another minus is that they obviously have fewer tables than guests. They do not always have time to clean them up, so if you come to the middle of breakfast / lunch / dinner, you can not find a clean table and stand for a long time waiting for someone to pay attention to you and serve the table.
POOL: On the territory of ONE adult (not two, as stated in the information) and one children's pool. Every morning they were cleaned with some kind of vacuum cleaner and chlorinated so that the smell of bleach was “be healthy”. And so quite a decent beautiful pool and a few visits and a bar - you can take drinks at the bar without leaving the pool.
SERVICE: Average. Everywhere. Today they can clean the room well and weave swans, and tomorrow they will quickly change linen and towels. In the dining room, the waiters may be accommodating, or they may not notice.
SEA AND BEACH: The sea near the hotel is uninteresting. Sandy entry, very gradual, shallow 20 meters from the shore, then the depth. There are no beautiful corals and fish, you have to go to the reefs that are on the spit. If you walk to the right from the beach for 300 meters, there are small corals and a few fish - well, nothing interesting. The beach is ordinary - sunbeds, umbrellas, wicker fences. The beach itself is quite narrow, the sunbeds are quite tight. Seems clean.
There is a surf station with a Russian-speaking instructor. There is a Russian surf station in the neighboring hotel. There is also a kite instructor there. But the kite puddle is far away. In general, the Iberotel is located farthest from the kite puddle, so if you want to kite, choose a hotel closer - Hilton, Coralia or Swiss Inn.
ANIMATION: During the day - Stretching and gymnastics in the pool, some kind of game on the beach, strongly reminiscent of petanque. Hours at 16 volleyball. A belly dancing lesson was promised, but I never saw it. In the evenings, I really liked the children's disco, the children's animator with children learns dances for children's songs in different languages (in Russian). More precisely, the animator dances, and the children repeat. Then entertainment for adults. This is either a fire show, or local dance songs, or the election of Miss Dahabiya. Sunday evening beach party (dancing on the beach). The animators all speak English, they know literally a few words in Russian, i. е. explain to you the rules of the game, for example, will be in English. In general, I liked the animation - unobtrusive and pleasant.
RECEPTION OFFICE: They look smiling. But when you check out, be prepared that you will be charged money for not drunk and not eaten from the mini-bar. They took money from my parents (they left two days before us) for a chocolate bar that they did not eat, they wanted to demand from us for the Internet, which we did not use, and also for a chocolate bar, I had to swear with them for a long time (out of principle), as a result defended hers. With us, they tried to take money from other people for chips that they allegedly replaced with others, although they claimed that they did not eat chips and did not replace anything. Therefore, upon check-in, if you are not going to use the mini-bar, ask that you immediately remove everything from it.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: The hotel itself (buildings-rooms-grounds) is good. But that's all. I can’t say anything else particularly good either about the sea, or about the service, or, especially about the food. I won't go there for the second time.
