In the photo, the island really seemed like a paradise to me, and that’s why my husband and I decided to go there, I wanted to see all this beauty with my own eyes, but upon arrival it turned out that there was nowhere else to walk around the hotel, around poor villages with very suspicious locals or another option to go to excursions to another part of the island.

We lived in the nirvana building (where only couples rest) it is calm and not very many people can find a secluded place on the beach or near the pool. But the beach itself was disappointing, since large and medium-sized stones lie at the bottom of the ocean without special shoes, you can’t do it, so mostly vacationers swim in the pool or sunbathe (we were the only ones who tried to swim in the ocean and they looked at us like crazy) Our body had its own restaurant, so breakfasts were held without haste and in a relaxed atmosphere, which cannot be said about the main restaurant of the hotel where we were only 1 time: there is more choice but also people. We lived on the Bed & Breakfast system, so lunch and dinner were paid extra, the prices in restaurants are, to put it mildly, overpriced, and the portions are small, so sometimes you had to order 2 main courses or leave hungry, but in principle everything was delicious except for theme evenings with a buffet with national Mauritian food . On the third day of our stay at the hotel, $ 1000 was missing from the room (my husband forgot to close the safe, but this is still not a reason to take other people's money) which we reported to the reception desk, the head of security and the general manager came and promised to sort it out, but in 10 days so nothing was found out and we went home.
