The hotel is very clean, green and all in exotic colors. The staff is friendly and nice - mostly Creoles.
The rooms are large and bright. The rooms on the ground floor face directly into the garden, without a fence. Therefore, who does not like or is afraid of lizards - it is better to settle on the second floor. Sea view is available in all rooms.
The hotel offers free water sports, even water skiing.
The food is amazing, especially the seafood. One evening we had a pirate-style party on the beach with sea food - blue marlin balyk and sea urchin caviar I can’t forget to this day.
I definitely recommend visiting the local botanical garden - there are more than a thousand types of palm trees!
The population on the island is mostly not poor, they are engaged in tourism, sugar cane and textiles. Therefore, it is very calm, there is no theft and crime, they do not stick on the streets for a penny.
The island is a mixture of cultures, traditions and religions. Lots of whites, Creoles, Indians. Everyone lives peacefully and treats the French very warmly - they supported Mauritius in difficult times after the typhoons, and before that they owned the island (before independence, the Danes were the last owners of the island, they are not loved)
There will be an opportunity - be sure to fly to Mauritius!
