I'll start with the positives. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning at the beginning of the seventh and began to wait for the check-in, which was announced at the reception at 14:00. Until the moment of settlement, the hotel made a good impression. The territory is small, but very compact. It is convenient that you can leave your suitcases in the storage room, use the changing room near the SPA where you can leave unnecessary things in boxes with a combination lock. There are no complaints or comments on nutrition. Freshly squeezed juice for breakfast.
Not a bad choice of meat and fish that are deliciously cooked. Good selection of fruits. I was very surprised that almost every evening there were crayfish. In the evenings, at dinner in the open area, pleasant live music. The animation is not intrusive and there is something to do. The hotel is cheerful, from 16:00 on the pier there are music programs. After dinner there are also various shows. I really liked the food court restaurant, which is open around the clock with a good selection of dishes. Ala cards are paid, but with the presence of a food court, there was no need for them. The beach is good, entry from the sea is difficult due to the presence of large stones, but not critical. I liked that there were no cards for towels.
Now let's move on to the cons. Good impressions about the hotel began to deteriorate at the time of check-in. Since we did not sleep the night and arrived early in the morning, I really wanted to get into the room. We went to the reception at 13:50 in the hope that we would already be able to get cards from the room.
The receptionist replied that the hotel is full, the rooms are being cleaned and you need to wait another 20 minutes. It was evident that after us many tourists had already arrived, who were also waiting for the settlement. Approached after 20 minutes and again heard the answer that you still need to wait. At the same time, tourists who arrived much later than us were settled in full swing. At 14:30 we finally got the cards from the room. The room was originally booked with a sea view at the time of purchase. We were settled in the second building in the most extreme room 2620 on the second floor overlooking the water park hill, which we didn’t like very much. Decided to go to reception and ask for another room. They answered that there were no free rooms, although there were more than a dozen envelopes with cards for settling on the table.
He came to the room and "delighted" his wife. We went out to the balcony and saw that tourists had just moved into the next room.
We concluded that we were told false information at the reception about the lack of rooms. The wife offered to go with her and ask for another number again. Went. This time, communication with the reception staff completely spoiled the first positive impressions of the hotel. The receptionist at first refused to communicate with us, referring to the fact that we had already been settled and she had a lot of work. We once again asked her to look at the availability of rooms and received an answer that there were no rooms. There were still quite a few envelopes with cards for settling on her desk. I said that half an hour after our check-in, new tourists settled in the next room and it’s not good to tell the truth about the lack of rooms. She asked who brought us here? I answered your tour operator. She said that they do not have a tour operator, to which I objected that then probably the Lord God or Allah.
For some reason, this hurt her and she began to break into insults. I said that we had a rest in Turkey 10 times and had never seen such an attitude towards tourists. After that, she generally went to the side and pretended not to notice us.
I asked her to invite the manager. She said the manager was standing nearby. All this time he saw and heard everything, and did not even intervene. I asked him to check the availability of a room. The manager answered in broken Russian, he does not know Russian, and offered to communicate in English. I realized that there would be no normal communication, I asked for a piece of paper and a pen to write down their names. On the third try, the worker gave me a sheet and a pen. I wrote down the names, Altinay employee, Sukpu manager. The wife told the manager that she had never seen such a boorish attitude towards tourists in any Turkish hotel as here. And then a miracle happened, and the manager in pure Russian asked again: “What, seriously? ".
An hour later, a message came from the travel agent with the answer that, unfortunately, there are no vacant rooms with a sea view at the moment, and as far as possible we will be relocated. For 8 days, the hotel did not find such an opportunity, which I was not even surprised about. Already after the end of the holiday, I talked with a friend who had been in this hotel earlier, and heard that they also had questions about the settlement. Initially, they settled in a very badly located room, and then the issue was resolved for $ 40. We began to inspect our room and realized that the concept of cleaning in this hotel is interpreted in a peculiar way, and comes down to replacing towels, bed linen, bathroom accessories and replenishing the bar. The bar will have a hotel history.
In the corridor on the floor there was hair left over from previous tourists, which had lain all our vacation. This suggests the conclusion that the floors in the room are not washed. Cleaning on the balcony is absent from the word at all.
We had to sweep the table ourselves and take out the garbage from the balcony. I had to ask for a third pair of slippers and a bathrobe, since initially there were two sets instead of three. Initially, the mini bar was replenished with water, soft drinks and beer. For several days, the replenishment was only water. We asked to replenish the bar to the hospitality. She explained to us that the bar is fully replenished upon arrival, and then only with water. If you need to replenish the bar with other drinks, then you need to approach and ask for it. We asked our mini bar to replenish. Filled up in the evening. Then they stopped refilling again. Again we approached the gestreleyshen. There was already another girl. She said that they can replenish 1, maximum 2 times. They asked to replenish the second time, she promised, but the mini bar was never replenished.
In the middle of the rest for 2 days the hotel lost champagne in all bars. Then it appeared for 1 day, and disappeared again. A day later it reappeared.
Two days before departure, freshly squeezed orange juice disappeared. The squeeze machine was removed altogether. The economy policy for a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star hotel with a high price tag and with a full load of tourists is not entirely clear. Separately, I want to talk about the SPA. Two spa workers take turns walking along the beach advertising their paid services for a whole day.
On the fourth day of rest, I decided to visit the sauna in the evening. But this turned out to be impossible, because I heard from the SPA workers that you need to sign up in advance. I asked how much time in advance, and only the third time I was told that I needed to come in the morning at 8:30 and sign up. But if you use their paid services, then the visit will be free. I said that I would just like to visit the sauna, and for the first time I was faced with the fact that for this you need to sign up in advance.
He came the next morning at 8:30 and asked me to sign up for a sauna visit. The spa worker saw me and said that I needed to wait, as he would now tell another tourist about the paid services of their establishment. After waiting 5 minutes and realizing that this would not end quickly, I abandoned the idea of visiting the sauna, because having paid money for a ticket, you still have to humiliate yourself to use the options that, according to the hotel concept, are defined as free.
Spa workers, like receptionists, live their own independent lives, trying to make money on tourists. But this must be done with respect for tourists. The hotel management is indifferent to this. Today your hotel is full, and next year, with this approach, tourists can be counted. And the last thing I wanted to add to the negative points. Rooms must be returned at 12:00 upon departure.
On the last day of rest at 11:30, while packing our bags, we were surprised that the hotel employee used her card and went into our room without knocking to clean the room.
I hope this review will be useful for travelers who will consider this hotel for their vacation in the future. There are hotels that you want to return to again. In this hotel, which is actually quite good, there is no such desire.
Let's start with the pros:
- convenient location: the hotel is close to Antalya airport;
- a compact hotel where everything is close: pools, bars, restaurants and the beach;
- our room was spacious, bright, freshly renovated; took a sea view; the balcony is large enough: there are clothes dryers, armchairs and a table, in the evening you can enjoy the view of the sea (because it is very hot on the balcony before lunch);
- very tasty coffee in a coffee shop and unlimited chocolate ice cream))
- from the sea and pantone offers a gorgeous view of the mountains;
- a lot of bars where they make different cocktails. Some bars are open 24/7;
- Loved the breakfast. There is a choice for every taste: We recommend not to take coffee in a restaurant, as it is from a typewriter, but it is better to take brewed coffee in a coffee shop, but it is open from 10 am.
Unfortunately, there were more cons for us:
And since our room was overlooking the sea and the pier (on which there was a disco), it was impossible to sleep at all, because there is simply no soundproofing in the room! ! ! Measured by phone (with the doors completely closed 65 dB). With what to compare: from 60 to 70 dB - it's like in a crowded office);
- they came to clean all neighboring rooms at lunchtime, but even with the doors closed, it’s impossible to relax at lunchtime, as the staff speaks very loudly among themselves, vacuums and knocks so that you shouldn’t expect peace + the music on the pool is very loud;
- filling the room with hygiene products: this is very funny and funny. Strange standards: hair conditioner was given only on the 3rd day, disposable slippers were taken away after a couple of days and never returned, and one bathrobe was taken away and returned only the next day, there was no liquid hand soap in the dispenser (it was empty all 9 days), only solid soap).
Although we have no complaints about changing towels and bed linen;
- cocktails at the bar were delicious only every other time, the bartenders frankly can't cope with so many guests;
- the choice of food for lunch and dinner is quite monotonous;
- the waiters did not cope with the full seating of guests in the restaurant at all, and no matter what time you came: the hall is always full, there is a long queue for all dishes, the employees do not speak and understand both English and Russian. I also had to wait for 10 minutes for a table to be vacated or to go around asking the waiters to bring the appliances - this is very strange for a 5 * hotel
- Food Court is a completely different story. Orders are being taken very slowly. Waiters may even forget that you made an order. After placing the order, we waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes, while calling the waiter several times, but we were frankly ignored. When we approached and asked the administrator where is our order?
he called the waitress - and she replied "sorry, I forgot".
The service is just terrible.
At the same time, we turned to the "Guest Relation" counter, which is located opposite the reception, where we were told that they would take this into account. But unfortunately, nothing has changed throughout the rest. There were more and more people, and the service only got worse.
Dear Grand Park Hotel Kemer, we understand that you have a full load, BUT this should in no way affect the quality of service and relaxation of each guest!
After all, they paid (not a small cost) for staying in your 5 * hotel and should not be inconvenienced by the fact that you have bad management, not enough staff or they just do their job poorly!
The rooms are good, it looks like they have recently been refurbished. If you settle in a room with a sea view, be prepared for constant noise - at 9-10 in the morning, music starts yelling and playing a saxophone, and after that there will be noise throughout the day. The best option is the mountain view.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE HOTEL: good food and a large selection (except for breakfast - every day was monotonous), a good selection of free drinks and ice cream; good location of the hotel, near Kemer, Goynuk and Antalya, in the village itself there are ATMs, shops, etc.
; excellent coastline and clean beach; evening entertainment program (but the disco after it is only until 12 at night and the music is almost the same every day); well-groomed territory and a lot of greenery; the bulk of the guests are young people; from the hotel to the sea - a maximum of 5 minutes.
MINUSES:
Monotonous selection of fruit all 11 days of rest.
VERY LIKE SERVICE! This became especially noticeable on the 3rd day of rest, when a very large number of guests began to arrive.
Restaurant workers did not have time to do anything and sometimes it took 10 minutes or more to wait for cutlery, drinks.
The work of the food court at night is terrible - they take and take orders for a long time, they forget to bring dishes, appliances, drinks. They can put before the fact that some certain alcohol has ended and shrug. And the bartender at night, in general, most often disappeared somewhere and the waiter did all the work for him.
The hot shop of the restaurant did not have time to cook and serve food due to the large number of people.
Cocktails at the bar did normally through time.
The gym and free spa services need to be booked in advance, which is a big inconvenience.
Very aggressive security guards who don't speak Russian or English.
Insolent cleaners, they came to us even if the sign "Do not disturb" hung. Every day at lunchtime they knocked on the room with a working vacuum cleaner, when cleaning they did not give out the required number of hygienic appliances, every morning they talked very loudly, and our friends on the 3.4 floor could not come to clean for 3-5 days, even if asked about it.
DO NOT BUY TOURS from hotel guides, the extra charge is crazy! The difference on tickets per person is up to $60 (our experience).
I advise you to contact Natalia, her travel agency is located on the way to the market.
You need to exit the hotel and go to the right, you will see a platform of black and white tiles and a sign.
The overall impression of the hotel itself is not bad, but it really feels like the service is lame and all the employees seem to be doing you a favor.
The transfer from the airport took us to our hotel first - it was very convenient, they settled us before 14:00, because. number released. Polite and friendly staff helped in all matters. The only thing that upset me a little is that during our stay there were no fish in the aquariums. They are brought to the children in the room so that they feed them and take care of them) But we didn’t get it, though we didn’t remember about it later))) The child went to the Kids Club with pleasure, there are very nice animators, a boy and a girl. They always had something to do))) There are also water slides for children on the territory, I specifically chose a hotel with them, but my daughter never rode them. In the evenings there is a children's disco and an evening show for the whole family. The show is very worthy, beautiful costumes and numbers.
Also in the daytime there are shows and live music on the pier.
Food deserves special attention. Lots and lots of variety! No one will be hungry)) In the evenings, barbecue and grill. Live music at dinner on the terrace of the restaurant, and of course the evening disco. Music - all Russian and Ukrainian hits. In general, everything for us. Sometimes I wanted to dance until the morning, but quarantine measures only allow until 23. And then the columns went into action, each company had its own column and its own disco. Therefore, I recommend taking it with you, but more powerful.
If you want to relax - welcome to the Spa)) I took a course of massages, Thai made me out of it, it was. There is a photographer in the hotel, of course we made a very beautiful photo shoot in Guynuk Canyon, the nature is unreal - I highly recommend seeing it.
We flew home filled with pleasant emotions and impressions, it was a great vacation.
-) the hotel after renovation, but gaps in repair are visible;
disgusting mattresses in single beds;
the room was bought with a sea view (very sorry) - noisy until 12 at night;
the food in the restaurant is extremely monotonous and boring;
the territory is small and covered in tiles;
on the main beach there is a place for sunbeds and umbrellas, but they cost only half;
talking heads from the spa-center - it's tin... just zae. . li ((
+) excellent Wi-Fi;
good alcohol in all bars (you just need to say what exactly you want... otherwise they pour local vodka) - Radlabel... Gordons... Omega, etc. Champagne is delicious and always in abundance;
there are a couple of water slides and table tennis;
the sea is excellent... the sunset is good;
for fans of performances - every evening music with good light and sound... but with a pop repertoire.
In general, the rest of the norms... but there are many minuses.
During the day there is no animation at all, and this is a huge plus.
The staff is diligent and polite. You can download the application and order cleaning and any service online at a convenient time, the Internet is even on the beach. Comfortable bed, cozy rooms, nice comfortable shower. A varied diet, meat, vegetables, fresh fruits, pastries. Offers water activities. Everything is super. Special thanks to Elvina for an amazing massage, I advise!
The only negative for me was the loud disco on the pier. If you want to fall asleep before 24:00 - do not order sea view rooms, it is still very hot on the balcony, it is more comfortable to be in an air-conditioned room or on the beach, where there is a pleasant breeze, so there was not much point in a balcony overlooking the sea, but the loud disco dictated its mode.
I strongly dissuade everyone from a trip to Grand Park Kemer.
1. Huge question: who gave them 5 stars?
2. The staff at the reception are rare boors. Get ready for the fact that when you check in, you will be deliberately slipped a room of a bad or lower category. The main task is to swindle you for extra money. We had company. We warned in advance about the conditions of arrival. Instead of normal standards, they slipped us one economy room and a second room with a faulty sewer. Both rooms had broken locks. During the debriefing in the morning, the reception managers began to roll out a fairy tale that the night manager did not know Russian and that we allegedly were rude to him, although on the video you can clearly see and hear how he spoke and was rude in Russian. As a result, we knocked out normal numbers.
3. The kitchen is terrible. We personally saw how people from the hotel asked to call an ambulance, so they had a serious poisoning. Think 10 times if you go to this hotel with kids.
4. Bars....This is a completely different story... Constantly there are no certain drinks. They were simply not bought. ))) Cocktails are also fun. The hotel didn't have the brains to buy mints and goodbye mojitos for three days. There is no common understanding of how to prepare cocktails. Instead of gin or bacardi, you can simply pour vodka.
5. Forget that, like in normal five-star hotels, you went to the refrigerator and took water))) before that, you will have to diligently look for staff who will bring you water.
The staff is also a problem. In the evening I was looking for a bartender or a waiter for 10-15 minutes. As a result, I caught some technician and he found me a bartender.
6. Water slides are terrible. Old slides in which even the sealant at the joints dried up and began to fall off. When riding, you will feel the joints well and, as a bonus, you will get a scratched back.
7. It is very stuffy in the common areas. There is simply no ventilation and air conditioning. Savings on vacationers.
8. There is no ventilation in the rooms, namely in the bathroom. As it turned out later, other vacationers have the same story.
