We chose this hotel because it's Tunisia, it's cheap, and it's Port El Kantaoui, it's a busy place. The hotel, in principle, is good, considering its price. But if you do not look at the price, then it is weak of course. Given the price, this hotel can be safely put 9ku. We arrived at the hotel in the evening and did not seem to have to wait very long for check-in.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening and did not seem to have to wait very long for check-in. The room was good enough. The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, a small pool and nice grass everywhere, we really haven’t been there. A horse carries a horse, such as a carriage, to the local beach, we went once and the beach is not very good there. Therefore, we walked down the street through the port to the local beach, for about 10 minutes purposefully. As for the Internet, we bought a SIM card at the airport and therefore did not think about anything. The food in the morning was not very good, although the yoghurts and jams were delicious. Dinner was good, everything was good. The staff is always trying. But in general, we liked everything.

Before the trip, I read in the reviews about the Golf residence in Sousse that the receptionists extort money from tourists for the best room, but did not believe that this was true. Before the trip, I read in the reviews about the Golf residence in Sousse that the receptionists extort money from tourists for the best room, but did not believe that this was true. And I experienced it first hand (We arrived in the morning in a small group. Administrator Raif hinted that we should pay upon check-in, but they didn’t. As a result, I got a room on the second floor right above the Metallic nightclub, which is open until 5 am. At first, even I was surprised and did not understand why all the neighboring rooms on the floor were free))) After 12 o'clock at night I tried to sleep with ear plugs, but this is the same as intending to rest, sitting on a multi-watt concert speaker. The administrator said that they can only change the number the next day. One night I did not sleep on the plane, the second - in the hotel. And now, instead of resting after a long road to Tunisia, I decided to write this review and thank you for your hospitality) Thank you for the wonderful first impressions of the country)
Sent feedback to the operator. I understand that this is not part of his fault, but maybe there is an opportunity to influence partners so that at least other people do not find themselves in such a stupid and unpleasant situation?

I want to immediately amend Golf Residence 4 * and not three. I will be objective. Quiet hotel without Russians. But at first it was difficult for us spoiled, EGYPT, TURKEY and not knowing foreign languages. The staff does not know Russian and stupidly does not want to understand anything. and what was shocking, the presence of a tip did not affect the quality of service.

A separate "FE" to the guide "TURTESS", told only about excursions, shows (promoted for money), not a word that there is a nearby AQUAPARK, an amusement park, singing fountains, a port with yachts and entertainment, we all found this "at random". We must pay tribute , the food in Golf is excellent, although we only took breakfasts and dinners, we ate our fill, plenty of meat, fish, fruits, all kinds of pastries, sweets, ice cream. although it was impossible to take out food (as it turned out later), we took it out and destroyed it together on the beach with fellow countrymen from the neighboring VINCI hotel. Separately about the beaches. Again a shock. We walked for about 15 minutes (block 2) until we found the beach where the locals bathed in clothes (they behave unceremoniously, arrogantly) we were completely depressed, and lo and behold! we hear Russian speech. I don't remember that I used to be so happy to meet fellow countrymen. they were vacationers from another hotel "VINCI". By the way, their hotel is also 4 * and was populated only by Russians on ALL. Their food is poor: from meat - only chicken, they did not see fish, only watermelons from fruit. the truth was booze and not bad, local beer. they occupied sunbeds for us, and we treated them to fruit. then the Kazakhs, Belarusians and one Bakuvian rushed to us, the Poles also kept close.
Yes, the most important thing! in a 4 * hotel they do not give water, there are no drinks. Only tea and coffee in the morning. water bought in a supermarket which came across by accident. For information! In Tunisia, the dinar currency for $100 is 160 dinars. olive oil 1l-6 dinars, local beer 0.3l-3dinars, stock up on alcohol in Dutik, taxis ask for 5 dinars. We went by minibus-1 din. minibuses run strictly along the route. not scary. As it turned out later in Tunisia, "stars" do not guarantee service. Read reviews and good luck.
