one small window closed with shutters, 2-furniture is all ancient, long in need of replacement, 3-wardrobe for clothes is not stern (no shelves), only a dress compartment with 8 coat hangers and a mezzanine at the top is inconvenient. In general, I am not a supporter of discussing the number when I go on vacation to the sea. I don’t get hung up on trifles, because I’m not going to sit and spend time in the room: it would be where to wash, take a shower and sleep well. And probably we would have stayed in this Cabana if not for the shower/toilet. Water flows onto the floor from the shower, you have to squeeze to the toilet (in the literal sense of the word) through the space between the sink and the shower, the tiles are some kind of old, dirty, no longer washed, unpleasant. In the morning we went to breakfast, and already firmly decided to exchange. We paid a lot of money for the rest, and did not want to put up with such inconveniences. Played to make a decision - the distance to the sea and the restaurant from our room. I have sore legs, it's hard to walk.
(although later, having gone through the entire territory, we appreciated that the standard rooms are even further away). The son quickly cranked out our relocation, and now we are already in room 234. This, of course, is "heaven and earth" in comparison with Cabana. Entrance/exit from 2 sides through panoramic windows-exit to the terrace. From the sea, 2 steps, to the restaurant, the same, and the pool, which is smaller than the main one, is also nearby.
SEA: always positioning, who goes for what (exactly for what). First of all, we went to the SEA, the sand on the beach and the sun! But I didn't get the sea. This system of ebb and flow annoyed me. Subsequently, we downloaded a tide map right by the hour and tried to navigate this way. But still, they constantly hung in the sea for hours, despite the ebb tides. We've come to the sea! I don’t understand those who travel so far and hang out in the pool. The sea is directly hot, but I like this more than cool water. I will definitely not go to this hotel again because of the sea (tides).
And the sea is always calm (bay), and I love the waves! The beach is long and wide. Very clean (did not see cigarette butts buried in the sand) and not crowded (? ). This is a big plus for the hotel. There are plenty of free sunbeds. I advise you to take the so-called aquashoes-coral slippers with you - it’s very convenient and without them I hardly swam in the sea at low tide, because there are algae under my feet, silt . . And ideally, in general, 2 pairs, some dry, others use. And then after dinner they do not have time to dry and it is unpleasant to pull wet ones.
FOOD: I liked it, although many write monotonous. I don't know, but I always found something new for myself. Always chicken, beef, fish, vegetables, salads, etc. I really liked fish, both stewed and baked, and in the form of cutlets / meatballs. Maybe there was not enough seafood: shrimp, crabs, squid, etc. But they came across in salads. Natural coffee from the coffee machine - for a fee, was it either instant / drip coffee maker -? . I tried burda.
But the hotel guide, Stanislav, I think his name is, maybe I'm wrong, seemed like an arrogant, arrogant young man, his tours are more expensive.
WI-FI is very good, stable throughout the territory, even by the sea.
The son went to the gym, he liked it, there were no people.
I will definitely not return to this hotel (I wrote above because of the sea). Another of the minuses: we arrived late, tired, hungry and nowhere to eat / eat. Could offer at least pizza, fruit. This is a big negative for the hotel. Still not enough (but this is in many hotels) hours on the beach, in the room. There is no information about the temperature of water, air (but these are trifles). Yes, and the room would be covered, the tiles are very slippery.
Rested with two children 19 June 2021 to 08 July 2021. Nothing positive except for the beach. The water in the sea, more precisely in the Persian Gulf, is warm, but the flora and fauna are 99% absent; diving with goggles, a mask will not work, because there is nothing but sand at the bottom. But this is not the worst.
There is nothing for children. NOTHING AT ALL, No food, no declared animation and a children's room. Nothing!! ! At 19.00 access to the pool and the sea is closed!! ! And basically everything. They put 4 benches near the entrance to the pool, poor children roll their toys on a 5x2 meter artificial grass area.
It makes no sense to leave the hotel, because after 400 meters a busy highway begins. And on the other side of the hotel there is an alcoholic shop, so the line of cars in the "non-drinking country" is impressive there, that is, from 19 o'clock children can be either in the room or in the lobby, where endlessly smoking Arabs or endlessly drinking tourists (mostly Russians) sit ). Therefore, before the trip, think "how will you entertain" the children in the hotel. Once again, there is no entertainment for children at all, for adult tourists the all-inclusive system.
The description of the hotel is not 100% true. This is not a 4 star hotel, so weak, weak "three". There are no Russian-speaking staff, there are a lot of bans in the hotel, and just like in the UAE. The attendants, consisting of the peoples of Southeast Asia, constantly make comments to everyone, grab the hands of children who, not knowing where to put themselves, run up the fire escape from the 1st to the 4th floor. All the parents who came with their children were afraid of the onset of the evening and counting the days before returning home.
An example of the attitude of service personnel towards tourists: in the lobby there is a queue of tourists for drinks (mostly for intoxicants), at this time a local Arab comes and the bartender (Chaldean, service personnel, whatever) leaves the tourists and rushes to the Arab with all his might to serve his. When asked why tourists have to wait, the bartenders always answer with one phrase, pointing to the Arab "the first person" - the main (first) guest, and it doesn’t matter what the queue is waiting for.
The food in the canteen is monotonous, very spicy and spicy, my 3-year-old son refused to eat in the canteen completely, I had to transfer him to baby food bought at a nearby supermarket.
Near the hotel there is nothing but a mosque, a highway and two supermarkets.
The hotel rooms are shabby, with mold and dirt in places. The air conditioner works really well.
If you are planning a trip with children, then you are clearly not here.
Hotel 2016: a team of animators appeared, a children's room and a heated children's pool were opened. And at the same time, good food remained))) At the reception, employees who spoke Russian appeared. Also nearby in the hall is Valentina, who sells fur coats, she will also always help)))
Children are coming to the hotel. But they are not visible during the day. The girl Sofya works in the children's room, whom the children adore))) Volleyball appeared on the beach, darts by the pool. Disco on the beach. Animators entertain tourists all day, but not intrusively as in other countries.
Special thanks to the organizer of all this "disgrace" Tuncay. Very positive. Speaks several languages. Full of energy and new interesting ideas. By the way, in early December, he organizes a big winter party for children at the hotel. Organized animation in major hotels in Turkey. So you can only imagine what will happen next)))
The beach is large, there are sun loungers at any time, despite the full occupancy of the rooms. Minus the beach - there is mud. But it can be bypassed. Due to the fact that the beach is in the lagoon, there are practically no waves.
What is planned in the near future: a swimming pool with slides is already under construction, there will be a stage for show programs
The food is good. But minus in November 2016: little fruit.
Rooms. Lived by the pool 300 rooms. 2 years in a row. Large, clean. Cleaning every day. The music playing by the pool is not disturbing. Can not hear. It's far from the zoo, you can't hear the roosters either))
Cons: We love to travel very much, we saw quite a few countries and states! In the Emirates, too, not for the first time. For starters, our settlement. Firstly, not one room has a balcony, and secondly, it smells of dampness, as it turned out that floods are a normal phenomenon in them. We chose from three possible numbers - one was worse than the other. The sea is not visible, we lived on the third floor. He settled the Arabs, their wives, a large number of ill-mannered children (who go to bed after 2 o'clock in the morning, while they run and yell along the corridors, reprimanded them more than once! ) The Arabs are generally very ill-mannered, they treat tourists with disdain, without any respect! Near the hotel, on the front side, there is a liquor store where tourists can buy, but the Arabs come in their cars, like in McDrive, without leaving the car, sellers bring everything to them. There is also a brothel nearby, where the Arabs also come, they can stay at the hotel for a couple of days, having fun with the young ladies from this institution! The only plus is a fairly clean bay, a beautiful but small beach and dinners at the hotel. And then, only from Friday to Sunday, when the arrival of local Arabs with their "retinue".
Our last straw was our last night, before departure, when, as usual, we were not allowed to sleep by Arab children, children running and screaming along the corridors, but also by the promised flood. Hearing the sound of running water in the bathroom made me feel uncomfortable. It was dry in the bathroom, going out into the corridor, right next to our door, where there was a ventilation shaft, water was pouring in a huge stream, wires passed there too....We went down in wild shock to the reception, the manager with a calm look, said that it's ok, don't worry, it's normal. Nearby in the lobby, water was flowing through the halogens, the cleaner was standing with a mop and a bucket, looking cutely at how water was simply flowing from above. It was just a shock!
Leaving this terrible hotel this early morning, no one told us, sorry for such inconvenience or something, they also demanded money from us for a small bottle of water, which we kind of drank from their bar (but we bought everything ourselves) , in short, they decided to divorce us on this. Worst place to stay, we have not yet met! I do not recommend this brothel hotel to anyone with terribly uneducated staff!
- we arrived at about 10:00 in Dubai, at this huge airport we lost our suitcase, the Emirates airline staff helped us a lot to solve this problem, within 20 minutes. we found our things, the Travco transfer waited for us without any problems for about two hours while we were looking for a way out of the airport and looking for our suitcase, but back from Ras Al Khaimah we were a little late for about 20-30 minutes. , but swept with the breeze!
- Check-in! Maybe this is of course an accident, but at first we were settled on the 3rd floor (we had laid out our things... ), and later they said that the corridor was planned to be painted on the third floor and we needed to settle on the 4th floor! )))) We silently did so, though it took about 4 hours for everything, well, nothing terrible, but they settled two hours earlier than expected! Ordinary room, spacious, large double bed, LCD TV, everything works hair dryer, water.......there were dead batteries in the safe, I didn’t use it, nothing was lost although there was access to money) The staff is very friendly, friendly , even not much strained that by the time you get to the beach, everyone will wish you good morning, afternoon, evening, and it seems like everyone needs to answer)))))) Well done in one word!
-Service ! Special thanks to the girls at the reception)))) Well done Natasha and Suzanne! They will always tell you everything, they will tell you....They cleaned us normally, but one day they beat us up and didn’t clean us up, but this absolutely didn’t upset us in any way (the only thing you need to do when you check in is to sign a green card, then you don’t get cleaned from you, you are entitled to a reward in the amount of 20 dirhams) very very very we didn’t like the fact that the entire hotel area (pool and beach) closes in the evening and you can’t bring your own drinks (for comparison: beer in the hotel costs 25 dirhams, and in the same hotel, only on the other side there is a shop where the same beer costs 4 dirhams) But we still brought it in!
- Nutrition ! Monotonous and not very tasty! But since I don’t have much appetite in the morning, everything was enough for me, and given the fact that I’m not particularly picky, I was quite happy with it! So it means that I ate and let's go....But there are not bad restaurants nearby where you can eat relatively inexpensively and tasty! how to find these restaurants you can ask Natasha and Susanna! We took only breakfast, so we were satisfied! Immediately go to the grocery store (near the store "Two dirhams" drive, put in the refrigerator and everything will be OK.
- We took excursions from Muganad, he works as a guide in the hotel! Nice person, knows how to sell tour services! In any case, much cheaper than other tour operators!
In principle, that's all I wanted to write about this hotel! In general, everything suited us for 5 (without +)))) If there are any questions, I will be happy to answer!
The next day I asked to be moved to another room. They answered that the hotel is full and there is nowhere to relocate. On the advice of a Russian-speaking girl from the reception, a day later he again approached the hotel manager - an Arab woman and showed a card with a room number. She understood everything without words and offered another room number 133. I agreed, but in the evening of the same day I understood the reason for such a light agreement: air conditioners also worked around the clock outside the window, and if you can’t hear them during the day, then at night the monotonous hum is seriously annoying. They didn't change my number again. The air conditioner in the room worked properly, as well as in the corridors of the hotel. The temperature in the hotel is comfortable.
For the sake of objectivity, it should be noted a clean area near the hotel and a clean beach, a clean pool with a variable depth from 1 m to 3 m, where older preschoolers and adults can swim, good food in the restaurant. Since we were on the autumn holidays - a lot of Russians with children. You can find companions.
Another minus: not everything is included in the "all inclusive"! For example, hot drinks (tea/coffee) can only be ordered until 12 noon. For lunch and dinner - juices, beer, wine, soft drinks. Tea and coffee - extra. fee.
15 minutes from the hotel (on foot), and by taxi you can generally get there in 3 minutes and 7 dirhams - Sapphire Mall. There is a supermarket of products, and a hall for children's attractions and shops with consumer goods.
In general, we had a good rest, if not for the unfortunate misunderstandings with noisy rooms. . .
Works on all inclusive from 11 to 23.
The mall in Ras Al Khaimah is free.
Deposit 170 $.
STANDARD ROOM has a maximum accommodation of 2+1, without balconies.
There is a children's pool.
The food is good and varied.
The hotel is clean but needs renovation.
