I was vacationing in Malaga from 17 Sept to 8 Oct in 2012, swimming in the sea until 6 Oct! the water was warm (I don’t know how many degrees), but I didn’t want to get out of the water, we just lay and swayed on the waves. There were few people, the beach was free and calm. We are ok. liked. Recommend!!
