First time to Spain. Where, when, how?
Comparing the prices of Turkey and Spain, I somehow thought - why do I need the Turkish coast, if I can relax in Europe?
Since I have never been to Spain, there are a lot of questions.
1. Visa. Should a travel agency open her or do you need to run yourself?
2. What is the best travel agency in Moscow? I usually used the Tez-tour when I flew to Egypt.
3. Which resort to choose if you go in late September or early October? I prefer the beach with pebbles, the rest is calm (room-beach-room).
4. To what extent do the "stars" correspond to their number? It's just that 3 in Rome was much cooler than 4+ in Egypt. How about in Spain?
5. It is highly desirable that the staff speaks (or at least understands) Russian well. What hotels do you recommend?
Thank you in advance.

Gostia, I have been to Spain 4 times, in September I am going to the fifth, so I will try to answer all your questions, maybe someone will add.
1. Visa. If you decide to use the services of TA, then you don’t need to worry about obtaining a visa, you will only need to provide some documents and that’s it, but if you do it yourself, then you collect the documents yourself and to the Consulate, in fact, it’s not difficult at all.
2. Natalie - tours have been working well in Spain for a long time
3. As for the resort, it’s hard to advise anything here, at the end of September I would recommend going to Andalusia, at this time it’s warm and there shouldn’t be precipitation, but the sea is colder than in Catalonia, for example, due to the current, but should warm up by September, last year we rested from mid-September to mid-October on the Costa Brava, for the entire holiday the weather was about 27-30, there were only 3 cold days, the water was warm, in the Canary Islands the average t is about 20-24 all year round, in summer a little warmer , the water is cold, I would say in the ocean, met only sandy beaches.
4. Stars do not always correspond to their number.
5. There are many hotels in Spain where they speak Russian, read the reviews and you will decide for yourself which hotel suits you.

I looked at the prices for the "natal tour". Percent 10-15 more expensive than in Tez-tour. Maybe they offer better hotels?

In Spain, 3 * hotels in resort areas are very, very modest hotels, usually with old but not broken furniture, with antediluvian TVs, without refrigerators and bars, without safes, very often without air conditioning.
Decide first on the place, whether it will be the Canary Islands, or the mainland, or the Balearic Islands. And then it is already possible to specify something.
The beaches, as a rule, are sandy or with coarse black sand, as on some beaches of Gran Canaria, but I have not seen pebbles anywhere.

I was in 3 * in Spain, in a resort town, in a very decent hotel, with good food, air conditioning. The furniture is ordinary, but far from old, there was air conditioning. Read reviews about hotels in booking systems, people who have visited the hotel write there.

Yes, I would not say that the prices of Natalie Tours are 10-15% more expensive, I made a selection of 2 hotels, the prices do not differ much. In general, you first need to decide which part of Spain you want to visit, then choose a hotel, maybe even contact TA (if you decide to go via TA anyway), they will help you choose, read reviews, look at Booking hotels, and then orient yourself on the price and decide on the TA.

That's just the point, that I do not know HOW to be defined, where?
It is necessary so that at the beginning of October it was still possible to swim and sunbathe and not stomp to the beach for half an hour.
Judging by the prices, the Costa Brava seems to be a more or less sparing option in economic terms. But if anyone else has any suggestions, I'd be happy :)

So I’m saying that you definitely won’t go wrong with the weather if you go to Andalusia, but it’s more expensive than the Costa Brava, last year I vacationed on the Costa Brava, we both swam and sunbathed, we chose Blanes, we rested at the Blaumar hotel, I would say that the hotel is not bad, you can still consider Biverly Park and Blausel, the beach is a 5-minute walk, consider also if the town of Tossa de Mar is on the Costa Brava, in the Costa Daurada the rest did not impress me, from a more or less budget I would advise Costa - Bravo anyway.

last year we were in lloret de mare. this is a costa brava with a sightseeing tour. this is a youth resort and very noisy. the sea and beaches are wonderful. the food in the hotel is good. if you are young and like nightclubs you go there. for me it was very noisy
