Lord! Are you reading this review? I hope you find it useful! I also hope that you will spend some time on your feedback, so that they would be useful to me. I count on your understanding! 
But only please - write truthful reviews! If you yourself are stuck, then do not let others do it! 
It is strange that almost none of the unsubscribers mentioned a local landmark - such a small and not inconspicuous chemical plant BASF Camical compani, located directly in the city and having access to the sea. No, I'm not inclined to think that he throws technical production waste into the sea, but it was still worth unsubscribing. As it was worth mentioning that this part of the sea is the water area of the seaport of Tarragona (of course, it is far from it - 30 minutes by bus, but the ships standing under unloading are pleasing to the eye and decorate the horizon).

But, despite these two attractions, the sea is clean, which, by the way, is also indicated by the abundance of local residents who come here to swim on the beach. And the hotel is located on the opposite side of the factory. And there are a lot of “locals” coming for the weekend.
The hotel is quite well located. Its undoubted advantage is direct access to the beach. You just change into a swimsuit in your room and go for a swim. There are only a couple of such hotels here. The rest of the kag-bae hotels are “on the second line”, but you still don’t look like much in Europe in wet swimsuits. There are no changing rooms on the beach. They simply don't exist. As well as there are no "hotel beaches". Absolutely all beaches are municipal. So do not look for a hotel with its own beach - there are simply none. The beach is sandy, clean with "paid" sun loungers and "paid shade". Take towels from home with you. There are toilets on the beaches. After 300 meters, which is not critical for this hotel.
Showers (open essno) quite a lot.
Luckily, there is a bus stop next to the hotel - it pleases those who make trips to Barç a or somewhere else.
The fact that you will be accommodated on the upper floors is no doubt. But there is “nothing personal” here - just the first 4 floors were bought by the European tour operator Thompson and regularly brings vacationers there from the working quarters of Manchester or Liverpool, as well as the German proletariat from the factory suburbs of Essen or dockers from Hamburg. The hotel entertainment program, rather primitive, is designed for this contingent. But in the evening you can watch concerts. The hotel program is not designed for Russian-speaking people “in principle”. But such and no more than 5%. The animators are cool and passive. For small children there is a children's room. We lived on the 6th floor, there were practically no problems with the elevator.

The hotel does not have its own territory at all, only a large terrace above the dining room with a pool, a bar, tables and a small number of sunbeds. However, the rest of the hotels in this and nearby resorts cannot boast of a large territory. The lack of territory is compensated by the fact that the hotel is located directly on the beach. The pool is not big. But there are few sunbeds, and sunbeds "in the shade" are no more than a dozen. Moreover, in the morning the Germans-Angles guard the "opening" of the terrace in order to take "a place not under the sun", naturally, a few Russians win. Those who overslept the exciting moment of “sun loungers” are guaranteed a “sharp” Mediterranean tan
Cleanliness, order, swimming pool, renovation of rooms and the hotel itself, rooms, elevators, cleaning, bedding, towels ...do not cause any negative emotions. Absolutely. Everything is clean, tidy, on the level. We were four of us in one room.
The room is not large, but we always treat this factor philosophically - we did not come to the room to relax.
The canteen is the usual Turkish-Egyptian standard. Good standard. Plus pork, plus fish, plus seafood. The food is quite tasty and varied. Beer-wine-water-cola is served by the waiters. For the canteen 5 "with a minus" (minus for the fact that they do not carry vodka, well, sometimes there is a desire to knock over a stoparik at lunchtime ). No, honestly, with food - everything is buzzing (and, believe me, I'm picky). We were offered two types of vouchers - "all inclusive" and "half board". We chose the first, which we do not regret, which we advise you. The excess of the cost over the "half board" was 8 euros "from the nose" per day. For this money, we had three meals a day and free whiskey cocktails, beer and cola (including in the canteen), ice cream, and water. It paid off handsomely. And, importantly, there was no need to carry a wallet in swimming trunks to pay at the bar.
It is interesting to listen to the reasoning that "this is not necessary - we will allegedly steal food from the canteen and rent a refrigerator for 40 euros. " The choice is yours.

From entertainment, I advise you to rent bikes at the hotel and a couple of times after dinner, ride along the town-quay. If you play table tennis, take rackets and balls. There is no billiards (snooker is not billiards ). I strongly advise you to go to the local water park. At least in order to swim in large pools without bleach. The first trip seems to be twenty, the second (during the week on any day) - like 6 euros. We went for the second time. Volleyball nets are stretched on the beach, we took the ball with us, but it was possible to beg from the animator.
For fishermen - take fishing rods (spinning rods) with you. On the artificial pier, which is visible in the pictures, some kind of fish seems to be caught. Like us (those who don’t like stupid lying on the beach), and just everyone, be sure to take a mask, swim along the pier.
There are not as many fish as in Sharm, but there is something to see. You can collect coins - my son and I caught about 3 euros in euro cents and a dozen rubles. Pretty exciting. And do not be greedy, gentlemen! You are not in Yalta or Sochi! You are in Europe! Throw your local currency into the water! 
Tours. I don't even know what to advise. Barcelona is a very beautiful city. Insanely beautiful. It's just that we were in Barcelona in the spring and climbed the whole city. And now we just bought the cheapest excursion to Barca, agreed with the guide about where he would pick us up and jumped out at the first metro station. And they watched something that they hadn’t watched before, just wandered around the city ....“there is everywhere – Gaudi ! "And we also definitely had to get to" that shop around the corner of the Sagrada Familie, where we didn’t buy a blouse last time, "...and to that shop on Ramblar, where the sneakers are so cool multi-colored with rhinestones, otherwise you can’t go to school what to walk in...

", " ...and let's go to Camp Nou again, I saw a rose (fan's scarf) of Barca last time with the inscription "AntiMadrista" - the boys at school will burst with envy ...". Who loves football - Camp Nou! The Barç a Museum is impressive! If you are here “both at the sea and on excursions”, then you will see something . Amusement park Port Avenura - for an amateur, it was enough for us once, but we bought express tickets, that is, "out of line" (it seems 2 times more expensive than usual), which I advise you - you are on vacation! You will save money and stand in lines at home . Car rental? Do you need it? ! With their number of toll roads? ! If you're thinking about it, take your GPS with you.
Be prepared for the fact that the cunning Catalans will knock money off you everywhere. Everywhere.
For visiting any boulder ruins, for a sunbed in the shade and on the beach and in the water park, and for the key to the safe in the same place, and just for the locker, the price of which is not included in the ticket price, for drinking water, and for the safe in the room, and for beer in the hotel bar after 23-00, even if you have it "all inclusive", etc. In general, everywhere. Where there is something to fence and it is possible to put a cash desk - do not hesitate, everything will be done! You will have to pay! Everywhere, except for the toilets. There are no public toilets. You just go to any cafe, shop, museum or expensive restaurant and stomp without hesitation in Mezho - they provide toilets for everyone there, it seems to be a prerequisite for obtaining a trade permit.
Communication. In Russian, you will not be understood anywhere. Well, except for the hotel, and then only at the reception. True, large entertainment facilities (such as a water park) have Russian-speaking staff, but they are few in number and quite difficult to find.
Some more cafes began to write menus in Russian, but only in the resort area (not in Bars). With English on the street the same tight, but easier.
It is considered absolutely normal to bring your own food and water (drinks) everywhere and always. Everywhere in “places of mass leisure” (in the water park, in the zoo in Barca, in Port Aventura, etc. ), in addition to ordinary cafes, sheds with bench tables for “your own food” are also equipped. The Spaniards carry cooler bags with them and feed their numerous families. So do not be shy - the prices of catering in places of leisure and entertainment are quite high.

Can I have a question? Why do you want to come here for vacation? Are you tired of Turkey-Egypt? I wanted to check the box “I rested in Europe! "? Well I do not know. As a resort beach holiday, it is an order of magnitude (or “at times” - as you like) inferior to Turkey-Egypt. How? Yes to everyone!
Hotels do not have their own beach, paid shade and sun loungers (for example, I go swimming 2-3 times a day, and after swimming 20 minutes will fall in the shade - so do I have to pay 3 times for this? ), there are no towels for the beach . The pools in the hotels are small and not deep, the territory of the hotels is small. Essno, since there is no beach, then there is no “own” bar, that is, you always need to have a wallet with you so that you have something to pay at least for water, and this is annoying. I emphasize - the "resort beach vacation" is worse here than in Kemer or Sharm.

In general, if you answered positively for yourself the question of the need to rest "in Europe" and in this resort in particular, then I recommend this hotel to you.
