A huge plus of the hotel is the location right on the beach. You go out....and you are on a huge, golden, clean beach. Cozy rooms, a balcony, a table and chairs on the balcony, a huge bathroom, clean, white towels (changed every day), a rug in front of the bath, a huge full-length mirror. Everything is very tasty in the restaurant, breakfast is a little poorer (compared to dinner) , but it all redeems a glass of chilled champagne (Cava, brut), an abundance of fruits, juices, tea, coffee, pastries... Dinners for every taste. Definitely poultry, fish, beef, pork, not to mention sausages, ham, cheeses, etc. They also cooked paella, there were Mexican dishes, there was Catalan ham, rainbow trout, swordfish, shrimp (on Friday). Special thanks to the chefs for the very tender and tasty "crab sticks" (this is on the crab claw, like a Kiev cutlet, crab meat is wound, breaded on top, and then deep-fried.

Here's what you need to do: in the nearest "SUPERMERCADO" supermarket on the waterfront, at the counter near the cash register, buy one package of sweets for each family member (in our case, there were marmalades from the lollipop manufacturer), on which there is a sticker with the inscription "1 = 2" and a picture of Port Aventura. Further - you joyfully lay out and eat sweets in your room, and take these packages with you to the park. At the checkout, present these packages (do not tear off the stickers! ) And pay for the entrance tickets. We were 2 adults and a child, an adult ticket was 45 euros, showing 2 packages of sweets, we paid only for 1 adult and 1 child ticket. And mother and son paid for 2 packs only for 1 adult ticket. They didn’t even help with advice, they didn’t call the police (at what I started talking about it, there wasn’t even such an offer from the hotel), they said they should call from your phone for all questions (of course they don’t speak English when they called the police station). The guide helped with advice, said where the police were (near PortAventura) and so my wife and I went there (by bus) to write a statement (because the hotel clearly hoped that we would score and take it for granted that we were robbed), sat there for 1.5 hours ( there, by the way, a translator helped us - a nice woman) - they made a report with the inspector and left in the hope that the perpetrators would be punished, and our things were found. As soon as we arrived back at the hotel, a transfer arrived, and we drove off to our homeland.... the rest seems to have been a success, if not the latest events that smeared all the negative impressions =(

As it was worth mentioning that this part of the sea is the water area of the seaport of Tarragona (of course, it is far from it - 30 minutes by bus, but the ships standing under unloading are pleasing to the eye and decorate the horizon).
But, despite these two attractions, the sea is clean, which, by the way, is also indicated by the abundance of local residents who come here to swim on the beach. And the hotel is located on the opposite side of the factory. And there are a lot of “locals” coming for the weekend.
The hotel is quite well located. Its undoubted advantage is direct access to the beach. You just change into a swimsuit in your room and go for a swim. There are only a couple of such hotels here. The rest of the kag-bae hotels are “on the second line”, but you still don’t look like much in Europe in wet swimsuits. There are no changing rooms on the beach. They simply don't exist. As well as there are no "hotel beaches". Absolutely all beaches are municipal. So do not look for a hotel with its own beach - there are simply none. The beach is sandy, clean with "paid" sun loungers and "paid shade". Take towels from home with you. There are toilets on the beaches. After 300 meters, which is not critical for this hotel.

Luckily, there is a bus stop next to the hotel - it pleases those who make trips to Barç a or somewhere else.
The fact that you will be accommodated on the upper floors is no doubt. But there is “nothing personal” here - just the first 4 floors were bought by the European tour operator Thompson and regularly brings vacationers there from the working quarters of Manchester or Liverpool, as well as the German proletariat from the factory suburbs of Essen or dockers from Hamburg. The hotel entertainment program, rather primitive, is designed for this contingent. But in the evening you can watch concerts. The hotel program is not designed for Russian-speaking people “in principle”. But such and no more than 5%. The animators are cool and passive. For small children there is a children's room. We lived on the 6th floor, there were practically no problems with the elevator.
The hotel does not have its own territory at all, only a large terrace above the dining room with a pool, a bar, tables and a small number of sunbeds. However, the rest of the hotels in this and nearby resorts cannot boast of a large territory. The lack of territory is compensated by the fact that the hotel is located directly on the beach. Cleanliness, order, swimming pool, renovation of rooms and the hotel itself, rooms, elevators, cleaning, bedding, towels ...do not cause any negative emotions. Absolutely. Everything is clean, tidy, on the level. We were four of us in one room.
The room is not large, but we always treat this factor philosophically - we did not come to the room to relax.
The canteen is the usual Turkish-Egyptian standard. Good standard. Plus pork, plus fish, plus seafood. The food is quite tasty and varied. Beer-wine-water-cola is served by the waiters. For the canteen 5 "with a minus" (minus for the fact that they do not carry vodka, well, sometimes there is a desire to knock over a stoparik at lunchtime ). No, honestly, with food - everything is buzzing (and, believe me, I'm picky). We were offered two types of vouchers - "all inclusive" and "half board". We chose the first, which we do not regret, which we advise you. The excess of the cost over the "half board" was 8 euros "from the nose" per day. For this money, we had three meals a day and free whiskey cocktails, beer and cola (including in the canteen), ice cream, and water. It paid off handsomely. And, importantly, there was no need to carry a wallet in swimming trunks to pay at the bar.
It is interesting to listen to the reasoning that "this is not necessary - we will allegedly steal food from the canteen and rent a refrigerator for 40 euros. " The choice is yours.
