Ola Spain from Accord Tour
We met in Lviv near the train, showed the bus stop. While on the train, we were informed that the bus was delayed by an hour. Then another hour. In general, he was late for 3 hours. As it turned out later, he was stuck at the border - on May 8, after May, everyone returned to their homeland. We cleared customs in 2 hours. The guide gave us phrasebooks and maps. Because we were late and in order not to reduce the tour of Budapest the next day, it was proposed to postpone the tasting in Tokaj to the last evening. Everyone agreed. We spent the night in Budapest in Arena 4*. Great hotel, great breakfast!
Tour of Budapest. Everyone refused Sentendre. It turned out about 4 hours of free time. Many went to the Szé chenyi baths. We spent 2 hours at the zoo and were very pleased. A bunch of photos and the feeling that you are in childhood! Then we had lunch at Paprika. Great restaurant, portions are huge. We didn't make it all. : ) Thanks for the advice about this restaurant!!!
At 16.00 departure to Gyor. The town is small, after Budapest, not impressed at all.
Long journey to Austria. Around 13.00 tour of Salzburg. Excellent guide and exciting tour. Everyone just fell in love with this town - so small, compact, but very beautiful. And the beauty of the park is simply impossible to convey in words! About 2 hours of free time for a walk and a snack, and moving to Germany, overnight in a transit hotel.
Moving to Paris. They were there around noon. Since it was pouring rain and it was very cold, our guide suggested rescheduling the Montmartre tour for the next morning and having a big bus tour with a photo exit near the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Everyone happily agreed.
Morning tour of Montmartre. The rain had stopped, but it was still cold. The guide in Paris was excellent, everyone was very satisfied. After there was a visit to Versailles (approximately 3-3.5 hours). Then the Louvre. We didn’t go there, we decided that one Versailles would be enough for today, went to the Latin Quarter, found a restaurant with a menu in Russian and had a great time. At 18.00 we met in a group and went to the tower to ride on the Seine. The ship was covered and warm. And a great view of Paris! After the bus took the group to the hotel, and our youth company remained to wait for the twinkling of the tower. After waiting, taking a bunch of photos and videos, we decided to take a walk to our Ambassador Hotel (near the Grand Opera). Satisfied and tired around one in the morning came to the hotel.
On this day, the program included a tour of Fontainebleau. But the group did not get enough, and we had free time until 13.00. Who went to climb the tower, who just walked. We devoted time to shopping and buying gifts for relatives. We repeated the night walk back to the tower, took a bunch of photos, ate very tasty pancakes in a kiosk near the tower and were glad when we got on the bus. Then a long journey to the south of France. I repeat, the beauty is indescribable!! ! We just managed to take pictures. In the evening check into a luxury hotel. The room has 2 balconies, the view of the mountains and the city is just super!!!
Before leaving, we walked a little around the city, enjoyed the freshness, beauty and silence. Moving to Spain (to be honest, I don’t remember it at all). Around 14.00 arrival in Lloret de Mar. A small resort town where they perfectly understand and speak Russian. A huge number of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops with very pleasant prices (especially after Paris). The beach is great! Very small pebble.
Before arrival, we were informed that due to the volcanic eruption, we have changed the hotel. We were lucky! Our hotel was 20 meters from the sea!
Because "Flamenco show" was moved to the 9th day, we had a free evening. Everyone walked up, studied cafes and shops.
BARCELONA!! ! It is very difficult to describe in words. This is a must see for everyone! The brightest and long-awaited day. Check out early at 8.00. First sightseeing walking tour with an excellent guide. Sagrada Familia and Park Guell!! ! Huge, majestic!! ! Great!
There was no group in the Gothic Quarter, so we immediately headed to the Spanish Village. Interesting buildings from all over Spain and beautiful photos.
There were only 6 people who wanted to visit the museum of the Barcelona football club and the Camp Nou. But to our surprise, it did. The stadium was intensively preparing for the upcoming match (it was the next day). We looked at the locker rooms of the players, the stadium, cups, sat in the VIP zone and in the places of commentators.
From 16.00 to 21.00 - free time. We had a bite to eat in a cafe and went to the "Aquarium", about which we read a lot. They felt like kids there. Huge aquariums with various slaves and marine life. The decor is excellent. But most of all I was struck by a huge tunnel, where sharks and rays swim overhead.
At 21.00 gathering near the fountains. Half an hour for this spectacle is certainly not enough! But at 21.30, whether we wanted it or not, a trip to the hotel.
On the 9th day, according to the plan, there was an excursion to the S. Dali Museum and Girona; 10 - Mount Montserrat.
But we decided to take a break. The weather improved, and vacationers appeared on the beach. We have joined them. In two days, they managed to get burned, despite the cream. The water was 14-15 degrees, but I got into it anyway (I couldn't resist! ). : ) We walked around the city, bought souvenirs and gifts for relatives.
On the 9th day, according to the plan, it was Flamenco. We left at 21.00 and the show started around 22.00. Dancing, live music, sangria in abundance. In general, great!! ! Everyone liked it, even those who at first did not want to go. We got back to the hotel around 1:00 am.
Return to France. Long drive to Cannes. But since everyone on the last evening came off to the fullest, the whole bus quietly and peacefully overslept this crossing. Around noon we arrived in Cannes and just got to the festival. I managed to see the red carpet, but the truth is without stars : ) There were a lot of people and it was hot. Perhaps that is why the tour did not impress anyone. But everyone was wildly delighted with Nice. First, a bus tour, check into a hotel, and then free time. I will never forget the evening Nice!! ! This is something! True, the hotel was the worst of the whole trip - the room is tiny with a tiny window. But very close to the center, where we spent the whole evening and half the night.
A short excursion to the perfume factory and a trip to the Principality of Monaco. Fine! 4 days before our arrival, the Formula 1 races ended and almost all the tracks and stands were still in place. The photos turned out great!! ! We bought the child a T-shirt and a cap with Formula 1. Excursion to Monte Carlo and free time. Great excursions! I definitely recommend visiting them.
Moving to Italy. Overnight in Padua. Excellent 4* hotel with excellent breakfast.
Early departure to Venice. Sightseeing walking tour and free time. In our free time, we rode gondolas, bought souvenirs and tried Italian cuisine. Around 14.00 transfer to Hungary. Overnight in Sopron.
Tour of Vienna. It started raining again and it got cold. All wet walked a little and went to the tasting in Tokaj (which should be on the 1st day). And it’s very good that it was postponed to the last day, after the tasting everyone took home wine and the bags became noticeably heavier. And so we would have to compete with wine all 15 days of the tour. Overnight in a small private and very comfortable hotel on the border with Ukraine.
The saddest of the whole tour is the return to Ukraine. The border was passed quickly in 1.5 hours. And returned to reality.
