Suddenly Spain!
The invitation to go to Spain was a surprise. My friends bought a house there and invited me to a housewarming party. The trip just fell on my birthday. Cool!!! ! Birthday in Spain!!!
In general, they left the children with their mother-in-law and flew away with their husband. And then the trouble is, my husband pinched the sciatic nerve. How poor he flew - it was something. Also, the seats on the plane were caught, which, near the emergency exit, do not fold out. He almost stood on his head. The stewardess approached us several times, asked if everything was all right with us... Well, thank the gods, we flew. Immediately at the airport, she injected him with painkillers. Friends booked a hotel for us and upon arrival found a doctor for my husband. We settled in, relaxed a bit and went to the doctor for an appointment. Some kind of chiropractor… We waited in the corridor while my husband was twisted and broken there… but there were no screams. Strange. . .
In general, my husband was allowed, but the leg below the knee became numb, and he began to limp. And for the evening they ordered a restaurant in honor of my DR. With all these experiences, the holiday was ruined ((Well, really, I tried to pretend to be happy, why upset my friends.
We were in Matara. Such a combination of mountains, greenery and the sea. Very beautiful. The sea is clean as a tear and very warm. They couldn’t get me out of it))) Well, I like to swim, well…
The next day, friends went about their business, and we were ordered by a private guide and taken to Barcelona. We walked along the streets, the Jewish quarters, went to the city hall, there, as in a museum, various sculptures and paintings. The guide was very interesting. We visited the place where they had a mess recently and several people were killed. So the traces on the walls from the shells remained. Then we went to have lunch in a restaurant that is over 200 years old. Many celebrities were there, a lot of pictures on the walls. The feature of this restaurant is that all the food there is still cooked on stoves, on firewood. Live food! We ordered grilled chicken and it was the most delicious grilled chicken in my life!! ! Another feature of this restaurant was that the waiters there were exclusively elderly men. The interior is not particularly impressive, well, ordinary. These stoves are in the hall, you can come up and see how they cook, how they load firewood. But everything is clean, no soot and smoke. In general, the impressions are very cool. I've never seen anything like this.
Then we went somewhere very high, where all of Barç a is in full view. Such an observation deck. And below you can see the largest liner in the world. I do not remember its capacity, like about 8000 people, 18 decks.
And then we visited the Sagrada Familia. It is something!! ! It has been under construction for a century and a half by various architects, including Gaudi. Gaudi generally came up with such unusual things there. He tried to display everything from nature, natural spirals, honeycombs, various mechanisms. He said that in nature everything has already been invented and a person cannot do better than nature does. In a way, I agree with him. The inside of the temple is simply amazing. There is no such thing anywhere in the world and probably will not be anymore)) They say that according to the plan it will be the highest temple in the world. True, while it is being completed, the same number of years will pass)) The walls outside are a masterpiece. You can look at them for hours, I got stuck for a long time))) And not only me, a lot of people stood with their mouths open))) Scenes from the bible, different figures, characters, signs, objects are displayed there. Each piece of wall is some kind of symbol or figure. Such an impression that there is the whole Bible and some other ancient riddles on the walls. Inside is also very unusual. The columns are built like tree trunks with thick branches, the stairs are shaped like the flight of a maple seed. Overall impression - WOW!!!!
Then we went to look at other buildings of Gaudí . There were several houses there. From one they made a hotel and a restaurant. Such very unusual forms. One house is like a dragon, with skulls and scales, the other was built for a very rich man, but he did not like it and did not live in it. Gaudí built this surprise house as he saw it. I wanted to portray all my fantasies in it. He started with crumpled paper, then he began to build walls according to this form. Everything is so unusual and unusual. Apparently, the customer was shocked by what happened. Naturally, then they were not yet ready to live in such a NON-STANDARD house. And I would live here))))) I love everything non-standard)))
Well, in the end, tired and satisfied, saturated with new information, we went to our hotel. Thanks to our friends for such an excursion there was no limit. A lot of impressions, especially from the cathedral and the wood-fired restaurant.
The next day we went to their house. It is unusual that their houses are sold with furniture and everything in general. Here is the impression that the owner just went on a business trip and left everything. Pillows on the couch, mirrors, bedspreads, bears on cribs, even some pens in a glass on the table in the nursery. After all, how they sell us, they even unscrew the light bulbs and take away the doormats))) The house is a dream. There is a swimming pool in the yard, a large fireplace in the guest room, there is a forest around and no neighbors. Some rooms are on two levels. I really didn't understand why they had such a big house. There are 7 rooms. And there are only three of them. Well, everything needs to be removed, heated))) In the yard there was even a small children's house with toys, small furniture. Cool))) In general, I was very happy for them, a cool house. The hosts laid the table on three floors))) They are Georgians)) They got out of the table already closer to midnight))) We rolled into the hotel. And on the second day home. The children stayed at home.
The trip turned out to be very supper. A lot of impressions, despite the whining of her husband, whose back and leg continued to hurt, the mini-rest turned out to be cool. Although without a husband it would be more fun; )
