In the morning I woke up from a terrible cold! It was blowing from the windows, the harmful receptionist turned off the air conditioning for us. Somehow after taking a shower, we went to eat. The Spanish cuisine we tried earlier in the evening did not impress us much, it was too greasy. We went for coffee to McDuck - the place of the world's ball toilet and Wi-Fi. By the way, Wi-Fi in Spain is somehow tight. Wherever we tried to connect to the so-called "Free Wi-Fi point", everywhere it was offered to pay for the service. Other access points offered to visit some web page. Since our Spanish is very tight, we poked where we got, and only after that we managed to connect. Sometimes the connection worked for a limited amount of time, but we are not at all too lazy to poke again and promise something to the browser!

For this day we have scheduled football and Gaudí . From the hotel we got to the University, and then on the map to the houses built by Gaudí . The first thing we spotted was Casa Batllo (House of Bones).

Fancy architecture, unusual balconies. We decided not to go inside. Wandered around and enough.

Continue straight along Pg. De Gracia we reached Mila's house (La Pedrera). When you look at this building, you realize that you are hallucinating. The floors seemed to melt under the sun, and the roof is about to move out. The house is very strange, and the exterior decoration, and the roof with funny buildings, and patios, and rooms - everything is very unusual and not banal. Entrance costs 15 Euro. First we went up to the roof, wandered among the noisy schoolchildren, tried to photograph something other than them, admired the views of the city, and then floor by floor we explored the house.

To get to the Camp Nou stadium, we took the Diagonal metro station nearest to Casa Mila, and on the L3 line we got to the Les Corts stop. A ride on the subway costs 2 euros, but you can take a group ticket, which should save you money.

A visit to the FC Barcelona stadium was part of our mandatory program.

Given my, to put it mildly, dislike for football, it seemed rather strange, but what can you do for the sake of your beloved men who were waiting for souvenirs. From the metro straight along Trav street. de les Corts we reached the stadium. Camp Nou surprised us a little. Outwardly, it is absolutely tasteless, gray. Barely visible club flags.

Initially, we planned to visit the museum and go up to the observation deck, but at that time the team was training and no one was allowed in. We were offered to walk for half an hour, and then for ONLY 20 Euros we would go up to the museum and to the platform overlooking the field. Our eyes widened! HOW MANY? ? ! ! TWENTY? ? ! ! I have never seen such idiocy. To look at the works of Dali, Picasso, Rembrandt and other world artists, we paid 9-10 euros each, but here it is worth paying only 20 euros for a view of empty seats and a green field. At the same time, a ticket for any game can be bought for 35 euros and you can enjoy both the stadium and the spectacle.

We soberly assessed our desire (or rather lack of it) to visit the stadium and went to the souvenir shop. Here we already began to doubt whether this is a museum? The Spaniards famously do business on football. The two-level store is filled with all sorts of trinkets, photographs, toys from 0 to 100 year olds, for every taste, with a glued hologram and the inscription Madi in China. Despite not comical prices, people are rowing souvenirs in boxes. And it’s not surprising, in tourist areas, on a keychain alone, the wrapping goes up to 50%, and on a football uniform, 100-200%.

As soon as we left the store, we noticed some movement near the parking lot. Young people gathered there, singing songs and shouting “Messi! »waiting for the arrival of the players after training.

We stood for a while, laughed at the young fans and went on. As soon as we moved away from the stadium, shouts were heard behind us, and a snow-white sports car jumped out of the gate.

Eh ...prince, almost on a white horse ...only who was really there, we were not destined to find out.

On the way, we went to a supermarket, bought a huge baguette, juice, and, digesting it all, walked to the Central Station (Estacio de Sants). The next day we were supposed to leave by train for Figueres, but we were not able to buy tickets via the Internet. At the station, we were told in the certificate that tickets can only be bought before departure. There was nothing left but to rely on fate and hope that there would be no problems with tickets.

We went down to the metro and got to La Rambla (Liceu), and then we decided to take a longer walk around the Gothic quarter. We walked a lot, wandered through the various streets, looked into the Cathedrals, stumbled upon incredibly cozy courtyards with fountains, and calmed down only when it started to rain.

For dinner, we chose the local Bakaria market with a variety of goodies, and bought the rest from the supermarket.

That evening we fell asleep at 7 o'clock. The fatigue of the last days finally affected our bodies, the muscles cramped, and the eyes refused to open at the sight of the pillow.
