Hello, please tell me what you need to take with you to the Hilton Taba Resort
My husband and I are going to Egypt for the first time, please tell me how things are going there with regard to room service, entertainment for young couples without children, what to take with you from the mainland (including personal hygiene products) and where it is more profitable to buy tours to Israel and others and also buy some souvenirs. Thanks in advance

First of all, I want to say that Taba is a simple village, there is nothing to do there outside of hotels. Hilton is a good hotel, there is a casino, live music in the lobby, a disco by the pool, good animation during the day. The rooms are serviced like everywhere else in Egypt, without too much zeal, but what you ask, they do. Personally, we took a ticket from Pegasus, for two days, we looked all over Israel from north to south. on the territory of the hotel there is something like a market, everything is there. Fruit and water bought in a shop across the street from the post office, it's cheaper there. Take aquashoes or buy them there. Have a nice rest !!!

Thank you very much, but all the same, the question is, shampoos, shower gels to take with you or they give out there, and a hairdryer in every room? towels?

It's all there, don't worry!

By the way, you can walk to the nearby Movenpick, across the beach. Two years ago no one paid any attention to us))

I probably hesitated, but all the same, I’ll ask you for the last time, about tips and where is it better to change money for a trip to Israel for 1 day and pay with the locals?

I don't know your budget, we left £2-5 coins every day. There are always flowers on the beds and a couple of times swans were spun from towels))) Money was changed at the Dead Sea (mandatory check-in) But it’s better in Jerusalem itself, the rate is better. And do not be fooled by buying cosmetics in a boutique on the Dead Sea, it is terribly expensive, the same thing is much cheaper in any pharmacy!

Unfortunately , the exchanger is only in the hotel . not profitable, but there's nothing to be done

Taba, a special border zone, and when you leave you will be charged, I don't remember how much, in pounds. Consider this circumstance. If you don’t go to Israel, they don’t take the fee ...

I always take my own shampoo and gel, I don’t use hotel ones, because. I don't know what quality they are.

They will charge a fee from the Hilton, it is in the border zone. Taba is to some extent a boring resort, there is nowhere to go for a walk (although you can walk to Eilat). Do not throw away the paid duty in Israel, and then you can walk there repeatedly. You can go to Israel (especially excursions from Taba will not be very tiring). Be sure to take a first aid kit with you on a trip (so to speak, a set of essential medicines, gastric, anti-temperature, etc.). You can pay with dollars for the trip and with the locals (for a tip, change small dollars), the exchange rate will be favorable for the exchange at the airport upon arrival. The exchange rate at the hotel is not favorable.

Great hotel, great sea. On the border of Nelson and Movenpick, a fabulous reef, although small, is densely populated with marine fauna (lionfish, flute fish, parrots, sergeants and many, many other species). Parrots eat right out of your hand. 4 countries are visible. Near the border, walks to Israel at least every day. Good impressions!
