I'm flying to Egypt in July. I'm going to book excursions through Saif Tour. For example, an excursion to Cairo from Hurghada 60 USD. And for tour operators, as I understand from the reviews, this pleasure costs 120 USD. You can feel the difference!!! And in terms of security - as they told me - in which case no one will bear responsibility ...

We were in Hilton Taba in 2008. We took a trip to Israel from an Arab guy who was sitting at his specially designated table with an official inscription (a little overweight, I don’t remember the name). The trip turned out to be about 3 times cheaper, in Israel, after crossing the border, we boarded buses ..... Tez-tour (!!!). I don’t know how they do it, but with Tez-tour it’s generally calmer, probably even than with Pegasus.

We traveled from SaifTour to ISRAEL AND JORDAN. We were satisfied with the price, service and guides. Prices from Pegasus: Israel 1 day-185 USD, Jordan -225 USD. From SaifTour: Israel - $85, Jordan - $195 Pegasus is transported to Jordan by bus through Israel, and SaifTour by ship. Thus, in the first case, an overland journey in a bus and overcoming two borders (you are going through Israel, because Jordan and Egypt have only a sea border), and in the second, you have a pleasant boat trip on the way there and back. By the way, do not hesitate to order a dry breakfast at the reception (they are quite good).

Tell me, do they provide a dry breakfast at the hotel if you go on an excursion not through a hotel guide? It's just that I'm going to Egypt for the first time and I don't know how to behave - should I demand this breakfast?!

yak78, you don't have to order dry rations at the hotel, if you know that you will go 100% on an excursion, take care of it in advance from home, and take crackers, cheese, sausages for yourself, or whatever you like. Because all hotels have different dry policies. rations, some do it and give it to everyone, no matter who bought where, while others can get on your nerves so much that you don’t want to dry it later. rations ...., and you can also collect yourself from lunch or dinner in a bag of the same rolls, cheese, fruits, in general, so that you don’t starve :)

In Hilton (Taba) this was not a problem. Dry rations are provided by the hotel, not the tour operator. You paid for the hotel food, and in case of departure you do not eat at the hotel, so it is normal if you order yourself a dry breakfast. And you are not obliged to report to anyone where and by whom you are going. In general, it is worth trying, and you need to specify the time for which you need it (you can order it even at 23.00, before traveling to Israel). In addition, we stocked up on bananas or apples in advance at the main restaurant. What you need to take with you is bags to put food supplies from the restaurant, and then banana skins, etc.

Yes, I agree. We did just that. We ordered from the evening. But it’s better to bring some buns from the restaurant from dinner - it will be more decent than what they put you in a dry bed. :)

I'm wondering if anyone uses the search before asking questions?

She was in Sharm from July 10 to 17, 2010. She ordered a one-day tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. She kept in touch through Natalia http://www.saiftour.com/russian/about_us.html from Kyiv. by the way, she is from Dnipropetrovsk. gave our passport details for the stamp at the border 4 days before departure. upon arrival at the place told our hotel room and she called back. on the day of departure she told us when we would be picked up. everything is organized on time and without delays. were satisfied. think for $ 85 instead of $ 190 got a great opportunity to see the ancient holy city. and a little old white bus, but the air conditioner was working and the seats were developing, and the attendant, the cat. English - no problem. The guide in Jerusalem was wonderful - Igor. The whole group was satisfied. dinner is not very much in Bethlehem, but it's a trifle. they took home-made rations with them - they took out fruit and muffins with butter from breakfast and lunch.
we had enough.
water from coolers was collected in bottles! thank you SAIF TOUR for good organization and support on the way there. I will be in Egypt, I will take tours from them. checked and the price and quality match! Thank you again!

We visited Luxor and Cairo through SaifTour. So, about Luxor - there is nothing to complain about at 5+ (and the bus is chic new and the Russian-speaking guide is just smart). But the trip to Cairo shocked us to put it mildly. Initially, they said that they would pick us up at 23:00 from the hotel (underground), then at 20:30 Natalia called back and said that they would pick us up at 21:00. As a result, we waited for the car outside the hotel until 22:30 - we started calling them in confusion - we picked them up at 23:00 - they took them to the desert - they sat there for another half an hour in the car, not understanding what was happening at all - it turns out they were waiting for the bus they were transferring to tourists from different hotels. We got into an old dirty !!! (on my seat there were pieces of fish that the Arabs apparently hadn’t eaten, I wanted to transfer to another place there were some pieces of bread) a bus in which we drove for 3 hours to the nearest transfer point, where we were transferred to another bus (although this one was cleaner than the previous one).
But here, too, an incident - and on the bus almost all Poles (only 4 Russians) and, accordingly, the tour was conducted in Polish (partly, of course, for us, the 4th Arab guide tried to say something in Russian). We are certainly happy that we saw the pyramids, but the organization sucks
