Luxor, you can by plane. ATVs, going to sea on yachts, if you like corals.
And here, it may be useful to read.

In such heat, do you feel comfortable traveling such distances (Luxor, Cairo, Israel, Jordan)? It's comfortable to travel everywhere in November...
You go out the gate, you see a Toyota minibus with an English-speaking driver, and for little money you go with it wherever you want. If you know at least 100 words in English ... We went to Dahab and Nuweiba and to the Christian monastery of St. Catherine (you need to leave for the monastery at 8 in the morning). Gathered the company at the hotel and went!
To Cairo - 5 hours at night on the way and 1 hour in the city in the morning in traffic jams to the Museum. This is on the same (almost new) minibus, but from a local tour operator. For a Russian-speaking guide to take you around the museum, who can adequately comment on something in the museum. Next - the Pyramids, the Sphinx, a late lunch in a restaurant, 1 large souvenir shop on the way home.

At local tour operators - the prices are significantly lower, sometimes 2 times! The quality is often better. However, who do you get? I wrote a review about them and our November trip in detail, see.

Of course, we went from the Hilton to Israel for the whole day (with lunch) and fishing (my husband wanted to, but complete garbage). If there are any alternative coral reef type trips, it's better to go there I think. We were also allowed to swim while fishing, but the bottom was like in the Crimea. :( They made fun of something. The friends went to Petra. They were satisfied.

We went to Israel for two days, drove it up and down, looked at everything, for one day in Petra, strong impressions! and Luxor, it takes a long time to get there, and now it is very hot in Egypt, and you have to walk a lot.

Diving!!!!
аватар elenako
My deep conviction is that diving in Egi should be done already prepared at home, that is, go to the pool and work with an instructor, get a diving certificate.
If it’s the first time in the EGI, then for this time it’s quite enough just to swim with a mask, especially since they want to take so many excursions.

boat trip on the Nile

A trip to Luxor is not dangerous? How long does it take to go there and back, if from Sharm? Sorry, the question is off topic, but it is relevant for me. :) On the other hand, wandering around these red-hot stones all day without the opportunity to plunge into the water ...

Watch when you drive. In the summer in the Valley of the Kings and in Luxor, the heat is simply killing, and you will have to walk a lot, and carry a lot of water with you. It takes 5-6 hours to drive from W-Sh.

The Valley of the Kings is one of the hottest places on the planet.
I wouldn't go at this time of the year.

Boat trip on the Nile in Cairo - nothing remarkable. Quite... I don't know how it is elsewhere.

We crossed the border from the Hilton on foot (it is important to choose a time when there is no hype - around 7:30 in the morning). Taxi to Eilat = 15 bucks. Renting a car at Hertz cost $120, including a full tank, a child seat and one fine receipt))). They took Hyundai Getz. For this money, we went to En-Bokek (swimmed in the Dead Sea) and Jerusalem (wandered around the old city). In general, we repeated the standard excursion route. BUT! No one dragged us around overpriced shops, no one took us to restaurants where your paid lunch is accompanied by $5 extra drinks, and most importantly, no one limited our time. Highly recommend. If anyone is interested, I can tell you more.

When you buy an excursion to Jordan, make sure that it is an Apple-Tour (meeting party). They had a super-guide with a Russian education and a degree (historian). In addition, we dined at Movenpick Petra 5 *, and other guys from the ferry - in some kind of canteen. Yes, and in Petra itself, we had a horse ride included, and non-Apple Tourers trudged on foot.

Angel.D, who did you go to Jordan with? What is the name of the company and how much did the tour cost? Is it possible to ride out of the gorge on horseback, and not in a wagon?

1. I traveled from Taba with Ahmed (or Ahmet). This Mr. works with Dahab, Taba and Nuweiba. All local agents buy a tour from two or three operators. Among them is the Apple-Tour. The price does not differ much - something around 200 bucks per person, my daughter (3 years old) went for 180. There are no lower prices - the Jordanian visa is expensive, Jordanian guides and drivers earn more than Egyptian ones at times, a ticket to Petra is not cheap. So I recommend that you check with the agent who will offer you the tour, who is the operator. http://appletours-sharm.com/ here, I found it. Petra they have - a tour for 5 points. But I do not advise you to go to Israel with them - we did not like that 40% of the excursions kept us in "lured" stores.
2. The gorge is divided into three equal segments "to feed" three Bedouin teips. The upper part is controlled by dudes who provide horses for riding. Just the trip down was included in the ticket (the Bedouin will say that the trip costs 3 dinars = 3 euros, and he is right. But you have already paid for everything).
In the middle third, you can hire a wagon or a donkey. Below (from the facade of the Treasury to the Temple with 360 steps) - mostly camels. According to the guide, not a single Bedouin will take you to the very top!! You have to pay three times

... and, in confirmation of his words, we did not meet wagons in the upper and lower thirds of the route, as well as camels on the sections above the Treasury.
аватар nat665
Do you have the coordinates of this Akhmet(d)a?
аватар Angel.D
Look at the Apple Tour website (see link). They seem to sell tours directly themselves, not just through agents.
