After a year and we decided to spend our vacation again in a beautiful hotel in Hurghada - Palm Royale Soma Bay for the third time.
We arrived in Hurghada in the morning and passed customs procedures very quickly. On the way out of the airport we were met by a representative of Coral Travel, put on a bus and an hour and a half later we were at the hotel. It was about 11 years. 20 people came to the hotel, but there was no queue at the reception. The girls seated us in the lobby bar and let us fill out a guest questionnaire. Tea was served from the bar… Then everyone was invited to see their room (I mean, like it or not). Who did not like something, so offered another. We were very surprised that we were offered a room where we had a rest last year, which we liked. This is a room with two, you could say, double beds, located in the main building on the third floor №1278. The room has been renovated.
From there it is good to get to the main restaurant, to the sauna, which we love, and to the beach. In 10 minutes our luggage was delivered.

In the room in addition to beds, there are bedside tables, table with two chairs, dressing table, luggage table, large wardrobe with two bathrobes, slippers and safe, two telephones, small sideboard with glasses and glasses, electric kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk powder, a fridge (one juice in the fridge for one day in packets, a sprite, cola and two bottles of water) and a large plasma TV. The bathroom has a bath with shower, large mirror, hairdryer, large washbasin, toilet, bidet and telephone. Also included are shampoos, shower gel, toothbrushes with toothpaste, a shaving machine with gel, a comb, cosmetic sticks and more.
Each room has a balcony with sea views. There are two armchairs and a table on the terrace. Rooms are cleaned daily and bed linen is changed frequently.
Cleaning was done well, there was no sand on the floor, we were satisfied.
The hotel area is large and planted with palm trees. It is said that there are 100 of them. There are artificial ponds with fountains and swimming pools. The paths are clean and the lawns are neatly trimmed. Everywhere there are workers who take care of the territory and cut down trees. There are also many flowering trees and shrubs.
The beach is large with golden sand. The entrance to the sea is gentle, to a depth of 20. There are no corals on the shore, no special shoes are needed. The beach is located in a windy bay, there are almost no waves. Beach equipment with wooden sunbeds with mattresses and stationary umbrellas. Umbrellas are rarely located from each other. Part of the beach is located in a quiet area where no one will disturb you. Towels are provided on the beach. Last year towels were given without cards, now they are exchanged for cards seen at the reception. We rested for 15 days.
The last three days the wind started, it was a little uncomfortable. The beach was cleaned every morning, raked and leveled the sand. The beach boys worked well, know their work and languages… Animators work on the beach, encourage all kinds of games and entertain guests. I think the animation for the rating - 3. On the beach offer diving, yachting - it's a paid service. Camels, donkeys and horses also drive along the beach. You can take pictures with them and ride for a fee. Their owners are good people. I want to thank the bartenders from the bar on the beach, who served us well and were always cheerful. Here I want to note the security of the hotel, who did not allow people from another hotel to our beach. The beach is worth 5.

Spa (sauna). We visited the sauna every day before dinner. This hotel has a free gym, steam room, jacuzzi and pool. Massages for a fee.
The staff of the salon is well aware of their responsibilities, the sauna is always clean and pleasant to stay. We are very grateful!
The main restaurant where we ate is located, so to speak, in the center of the main building and the entrance to it from the main hall, where the reception and lobby bar. At the entrance, guests were always greeted by either animators in costumes or hotel representatives and greeted everyone and wished delicious. There was a lot of food, potatoes were cooked daily and differently. Meat dishes were different, beef and poultry, natural pieces and minced. There was a fish dish every day. Lots of different grilled and raw vegetables, sliced ​ ​ cheeses and sausages, sushi… Lots of sweets and pastries, different jams, honey. Drinks include various teas, coffee and juices. Of the spirits that are offered for free - beer, vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, two types, tequila and brandy.
Everything was delicious and did not feel fresh.
I want to mention the waiters Ernest Takunda and the fastest waiter - Walid Mohammed! They know how to serve the customer and what he wants… Restaurant rating - 5.
We didn't like the ala carte restaurants because there is a small selection of food. Score - 3.
We rested in the lobby bar after dinner. If you take a table near the bar, ie on the "island", you are served quickly, and if below, you can not wait. When I arrived at the hotel, when we were not given rooms, I wanted coffee, but I was not given. Asked for the room number, I replied that I had not yet received the number. They apologized and said they couldn't give me coffee. That's right… Rating - 4.
We liked Johnny's bar better, it was well served, thank you for that. Score - 5.
Every night artists come, girls dance Arabic dances, acrobats show various shows, as well as show animation for children. All right, well done!
There were two disadvantages to the hotel.

In front of the hotel, as always, there are flagpoles with the flags of the countries whose people visit this hotel. We saw that there is no Ukrainian flag! We turned to the administration, where our Ukrainian girls Iryna and Olena work. We remember them from past years. They always helped us and helped us this time. After listening to our wishes, they reported to their leadership, namely Kannan Subramaniam, who the next day, finding us, showed our flag on the flagpole. We were amazed at the speed of our wish! We rejoiced and shouted “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes! Another disadvantage is only one Ukrainian TV channel "1 + 1", which broadcasts in Russian. We asked to connect more channels, such as "Channel 5" where you can always get information about what is done at home. We were told that this should be decided at the level of Egypt.
But last year there were two channels… We were promised to resolve this issue by next year.
We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. We are pleased that we did not make a mistake in choosing the hotel and that we were once again convinced that there is no better in Hurghada. We recommend this hotel to everyone. With best wishes Oleg and Lily.
