I took an excursion from Intourist. And I can only say about this service, there were tourists from different hotels on our bus (as always on any excursions), but everything was only from Intourist. As for the difference in the quality of service, you can only find out if the person has been to Luxor 2 times or more (1st time from a tour operator, 2nd time from a "street" agency, and you are unlikely to find such)

The trip is long, we were picked up from the hotel at 4-30 in the morning, brought back at about 22 in the evening. All this time the driver was alone. We went to this hotel from Turtesse (a good guide Tatyana) and took an excursion to Luxor from them. Cost per person - 90 USD. (unless prices have gone up)
