I have never seen coconuts in Egypt. Yes, and a lot of fruit is not their forte. Tourists go to the market for mangoes. And in hotels everywhere apples, bananas, melons, watermelons. And guava, which is pleasant to smell, but not very much to eat :)

All hotels in Thailand. In Egypt, I did not meet coconuts. But there is mango and, surprisingly, even better than in Thailand and Ceylon.

There are a lot of apples and melons in the hotels of Egypt, everything else is seasonal, coconuts were not seen at all., even at the bazaar

Once I saw coconuts in the bazaar in Sharm. Hotels do not provide coconuts.
аватар Alex714
There are a lot of ripe fruits in the bazaar, in the hotel according to the season, but more often the quality leaves much to be desired. I join in - I have not seen coconuts in Egyptian hotels, and there are rare guests in the bazaars in search of coconuts in Tai, but, IMHO, a delicacy for an amateur.

I’ve been to the Old Palace twice, there’s really a lot of fruit (in the evening there are whole trays, like in the market, the dude stands, gives whole or cuts at will) always red and green apples, melon, watermelons, pomegranates, bananas, oranges, tangerines, guava (by the way I love her very much, but my husband can’t stand it) grapes, strawberries, pears every other day. Mango, coconuts have never been seen in any hotel. Although there are hundreds of hotels))) I have not been to all of them, but I have not heard from anyone from the reviews. Possibly Savoy, 4 season and above level offer

Do you choose a hotel based on the presence of a lot of fruits and coconuts? All this can be bought on the market cheaply and a lot without any problems!

"You are lost, you go to Sri Lanka" .......
And even better - TO THE MALDIVES! There is a lot of this goodness! Now there are some economy options for visiting the Maldives, though I'm not sure that they can replace a vacation on the Atolls.

You can find an abundance of fruits in the supermarket near the Old Town, where locals buy. Prices are cheap, the range is huge. I’m not sure about coconuts, I don’t like them, so I didn’t pay attention to their presence. I absolutely agree with the previous comments: mangoes in Egypt are the most delicious!!! And huge! Somehow I bought a huge mango weighing 960 grams. We don't need dinner anymore :)

I ask because I was in Egypt, in a not cheap hotel and there were fruits, but not ripe at all. I bit the apple and left it on the nightstand in the room, it collapsed even after 10! days, on the day of departure, it was found completely unspoiled at the site of the bite! How can this be? Is it with antibiotics or what is it sprayed with (((Plus, all the fruits were not ripe. I think that the most healthy food is fruits. It turns out for decent money, everything is included, there is just a huge amount of ready-made food. And the simplest and most healthy (fruits) - No. (((
And I love coconut water, it is very tasty and also insanely healthy. I thought, you never know, maybe in some hotel there is. In the Dominican Republic, in a hotel, coconuts are peeled and a straw is inserted and given to tourists to drink.
But there is no way to fly to the Dominican Republic.

Now the Dominican Republic is more accessible than many countries. I flew under the promotion from Anex for three kopecks for 12 days. It's a super fun getaway! Fish, of course, not an abundance, but there is a charm!
аватар Pachok
How does Anex fly? Is there a transfer and where?
аватар V.Zolot
There - 13 hours, back - 10.5 hours. Direct flight. Comfort, food and service on the plane was very surprising. The board was new, sets for sleeping were given to everyone at once.
