Here on the forum they can tell you anything, including yes, of course .... But here there are apparently not very many Armenians with a Ukrainian residence permit flying to Egypt ..... Specify the first, for citizens of Armenia it works whether Sinai only (there is neither time nor desire to rummage through the internet in search of this information), is it necessary to contact the embassy in advance to obtain a visa, or a visa on arrival is also possible .... if not, then you can submit a request, in the travel agency should also help you with the clarification of this issue. But here I see no point in asking such questions.

Thank you very much for the answer, but do not believe the consulate is silent.
In agencies, some say you can, others can't ....
Referring to articles from the Internet, which I have already re-read everything.
I understand that there are few Armenians here, but suddenly someone personally encountered such a situation ...

Let's deal with the residence permit and citizenship! These are different things. It is necessary to find out what is necessary for the trip of CITIZENS of Armenia to Egypt, I don’t think it’s a secret!
I repeat, do not confuse flies from meatballs, citizenship from a residence permit! And the Sinai visa is just an indulgence for people coming to Sinai.

I understand that these are different things, we will fly out from Ukraine and return with a tour, respectively. And without it we will not be allowed to go home.
And we return to the question, maybe there are representatives of the TA who encountered the citizens of Armenia.
Do you need a visa at the consulate or not?
аватар Kostenko2011
We are ready to buy a visa upon arrival, no problem.
The problem is that it is not possible and time ... to contact the consulate

Isn't it clear! What does an ARMENIAN CITIZEN need to travel to Egypt, and to other countries? I don't think it's classified! Without which you will not be allowed into Ukraine, without a residence permit, so you have it!
"The problem is that there is not even time... to contact the consulate", but who will do it for you?

Does your spouse have an Armenian passport to travel abroad? I think yes. That's elementary, I opened Google and asked in the search "entry to Egypt for a citizen of Armenia" .... That's nothing complicated. If you believe that info (honestly, you need to look for a link on this issue, but I just have no time, it says that you need to apply for a visa at the consulate ....

The Egyptians don't care what country the Armenian citizen came from. Shinai only rules apply to all countries. You can find out from the Armenian travel agencies. And the fact that your husband has a residence permit does not bother anyone, his passport is Armenian

Shev37 thanks for the answer, I thought so but decided to clarify.
They just shrug their hands in our agencies))))

Kostenko2011 you asked exactly the same question here on turpravda 2 months ago and there were answers to your question https://www.turpravda.ua/eg/sharm_el_sheyh/question-78777.html
Armenian citizens cannot obtain a Sinai visa on arrival : According to the data Egyptian Government provided to IATA citizens of all countries may obtain a Sinai resort visa on arrival at Sharm el-Sheikh, Saint Catherine or Taba airports valid for 15 days except for the citizens of the following 81 countries and territories: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia....
аватар Shev37
Kostenko 2011 I see that I was mistaken. Vika 284 answered documentarily. There is nothing to object. Unless you go to the Egyptian Government website and check. Finally buy a visa
A residence permit will not help you, the passport is still Armenian

They will tell you exactly at the Armenian embassy, or at a travel agency.!!!

Timatic shows that Armenian citizens will not be allowed into Egypt without a visa, and they will not be put on a plane. As well as Belarusians without a visa or a trip without a tour operator.
