groceries (ALL, including fruits) are the cheapest to buy at the Carrefure supermarket - one is on Naama Bay, the other is near the Sunterra and Delta compounds. and the cheapest way to rent an apartment is on Hadaba, on a minibus to the supermarket it’s only 3.5 pounds. in the Old City, fruits are more expensive, but there is a larger selection. there are groups on FB for renting real estate in Sharm facebook.com/groups/1965427813713807, and for life facebook.com/groups/russianspeakingsharm/ - there are a lot of Russian-speaking people living there.

I was only on excursions in Dahab, I haven’t been to Hurghada at all and I don’t plan to - there are practically few fish on the BEACH (you have to go to Paradise Island to swim with them) - and I love coral reefs on the beaches, not sandy ones. Charm is more suitable for this, and there is a vibrant cultural life on the streets, the Russian diaspora - unlike Dahab ... there is a paradise for divers, but in the evenings - only in entertainment hotels, and "outside" - everything is sad, just a poor village. .. and VERY poor .. I can’t compare prices in the summer - I was from November to February. and as far as I understand, everything went up in price last year, and what will happen this year is still unclear ...
