If you have a choice, individually or as part of a group, don't even think about it. A private tour is better in many ways. The main one is the absence of a constant race for the leader, as in a group tour.

Of course, the guides are different, but in 2 hours you will definitely look at the pyramids and go inside. Israel is worth a trip, a tiring journey + customs, but once in a lifetime you need to visit the holy land. By the way, excursions in Sharm and Dahab are no less interesting.
