"Normal" pier - on stilts? I saw in "Pyramiz" and in Dahab "Tropitel Dahab oasis".
I recommend swimming out "on the big fish" in the morning at 6 o'clock, there are few people and there is still a night mover in the water. And after 12-00 there is nothing to do in the water, turbidity, and wherever it was (Sharm, Dahab, Hurghada, Marsa Alam).

The most beautiful reef on El Phanar, IMHO, and generally the most awesome beach.

Ras Nasrani bay is considered by many to be the best.
Look from Coral Sea (former Konrad) to Melia Sinai, and you won’t need any reserves, the house reefs are gorgeous there. Personally, I was in Baron, the reef is about 20 meters deep, very beautiful and lively.
