Excursion to the pyramids is tiring by bus, it takes 7 hours to go to Cairo, then to the museum and the pyramids in Cairo and back 7 hours, adults get tired. Better take Cairo or Luxor by plane, it won’t be tiring and you can see more, Luxor impressed me more, if your girl loves films about Egypt and mummies, then definitely Luxor

Hurghada is undoubtedly closer to Luxor, but the sea and the corals and fish in Sharm are magnificent. It’s hard for a 10-year-old child to take a bus tour to Cairo from Sharm, so I recommend by plane, not by bus, but if you choose where to fly on an excursion, then Luxor with its temples is more majestic and more interesting than the pyramids in Cairo.

You can add to the above an excursion to Dahab in jeeps. It’s a little tiring, as it’s for the whole day, but in general you should like it: you can walk in the canyon on foot, ride camels in Dahab and swim with masks in the Blue Hole. Just take masks, fins and snorkels with you, and drinking water on the road.
Excursions take Nemo tour (easily found on the Internet) - inexpensive and high quality. Guides in hotels wind up extra. commission for the same excursions.
