How hot is it in Sharm El Sheikh in the first half of June?
Good afternoon! I plan to fly in early June with children to Sharm el-Sheikh. The tour has already purchased, but I want to ask how hot it is here in the first half of June?
I have been to Egypt (Hurghada) several times, but in April and November. Should we expect wild heat or is it still normal at this time? Thanks.

Very hot. Not comparable to October. The main difference is that it is also warm at night. But the heat in Egypt is much easier to bear than ours. The main thing is to grab sun sprays, and light, but closed clothes - you can burn yourself in a T-shirt already on the way to the beach. Yes, and in the water, the shoulders and back burn immediately. Some swim in T-shirts.

Terribly hot .... The year before last, I flew with children in the 2nd half of May .... the umbrella did not save. Children (8 and 2.3 years old) were all the time in thin T-shirts with long sleeves, because even after smearing a special cream, the children got burned. We went to the sea only in the morning, after 11 it was simply dangerous to be on the beach. My son’s face was swollen for three days from a burn (this is really the first time I encountered this. While swimming in the pool, he turned off the visor of his cap so that it would not interfere and the consequences were terrible. He received severe burns on his shoulders, so far there are traces in these places. A deceptive breeze created a feeling of more comfortable temperature. Moreover, our family regularly travels to hot countries (Sri Lanka, India, Thailand), but it was in Egypt that we did it ... So take creams with the maximum degree of protection with you. only the top of the head, but also the neck, ears and with a good visor.Thin T-shirts for swimming.

If the tour is bought - stock up on powerful sunscreen, light clothing with long sleeves and hats.

Get ready to get up at 6 am. at 10 from the beach you need to go under the roof and air conditioners.
Of course, each person has his own temperature comfort.
But, frankly speaking, the timing was wrong.
Buy special protective beach suits for children.
Sunscreen with a factor of 50 or more.
Light natural things with long sleeves.
Actually, everything that has already been advised above.

Was in Egypt in the second half of August, September and early October. To be honest, I didn’t notice much difference at the end of August and at the beginning of October. Yes, it’s hot from 10 am to 4 pm, but it’s not a park like in Kyiv, you just need to be under umbrellas and plunge into the sea and it’s very comfortable. It is much harder for me in the summer in Kyiv than in Egypt. In August we even went to Luxor))))
If we compare Egypt and Turkey in the summer, then I will choose Egypt, you don’t even sweat there in the evening, which cannot be said about the “wet” Crimea and Turkey. A headdress on your head and from 10 am to 4 pm under an umbrella, which, in principle, in the summer at any resort, you need to do the same. I don’t know how people lie and sunbathe in the very sun.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the stories!
In Hurghada, as I already wrote, I was several times (7, I think).
In Sharm - only one, at the end of April 2013. In the evenings they just froze, they couldn’t do without pants and jackets, the water in the pools was icy, mosquitoes just ate.
That's why I decided to fly to Sharm with the children immediately after the last call - I thought it would be comfortable)))
In any case, sunscreens, hats and cotton clothes are our everything :)

If you were freezing at the end of April and wearing sweaters, then summer is just for you.

We were in Hurghada at the beginning of October, Sharm - the end of September, even because of 10 days they felt the difference: September is really hotter ..... June? I can’t even imagine ...

If at the end of April there is ice water ......, then yes, the June heat will be nothing to you. The main thing is that children also perceive the weather conditions. At the end of April, by the beginning of the animation (which is 10 am) I was hiding under an umbrella.

It will be hot in Sharm. For June, it is better to choose then Khurada, which is more blown by the winds. Therefore, there is less heat. Or look for a hotel in Sharm in Nabq, where there is also a breeze. And so, tune in to + 35-40 day and + 28-30 night

This summer in Sharm in June it was 10am 52 in the sun. When we swam in the morning, the numbers on the big scoreboard on the beach shone. I understand that it is in the sun, not in the shade. Feeling bad! Last summer broke the temperature record! I got dizzy in the middle of a week's vacation. My husband screamed once at night, too, I think, overheated.

If I had known about the abnormal heat of last summer, I would never have gone. I also thought + 35-40. By the way, in this heat there are no mosquitoes at all! But the last day it got colder (35 -38) and appeared.

And yet, at 35-40 it’s really not hot! It is transferred normally, the main thing is to follow all the rules. I don't think there can be such hot weather for two years in a row!

It will be very very hot, after 10 to 15:00 you need to hide, because you can melt. Last year I was in charm 4 times and in June it was just unrealistically hot, especially with children

VERY HOT!!! I don't recommend going at this time. Were in the sunrise in Sharm just in the first half of June. Nothing near the water in the morning, but the rest of the time and in the evening, including stuffy, PARCO, HOT! HORROR!!! If you don’t want to spend more and more time of your holiday under the air conditioning in your room, then it’s better not to go! Even not at peak time (but in the morning), the child had a heat stroke (V.O. sincerely do not advise!
Were in early May in Sharm, too hot, but normal. Including, as an option, consider May time better

It all depends on how you personally tolerate the heat. We flew several times in July and August, we were fine. It's hot, of course, but not to such horror stories as described above. They even managed to go to Luxor in August.
Have a nice holiday!

Hello. Rested with children last year in early June for 14 days. We were on the beach until noon. The main thing is to have hats, glasses and creams with protection, drinking water. From 12-15 we were indoors, and then again at the sea until the beach closed. The heat was well tolerated. In Turkey (Alanya), heat was much worse tolerated due to high humidity. Don't worry, feel free to fly!

ps What hotel did you choose? We stayed at Sunrise Diamond.
аватар Merime
Thanks Prozegna! We are flying on June 1 for 14 nights at Albatros Aqua Blu Resort 4*.

In Egypt, in summer, in principle, it is very hot) But the humidity in early June is quite comfortable (the highest humidity occurs mainly at the end of July, August and the beginning of September). Therefore, stock up on a good mood and have a great vacation!
аватар OnlySinai
Don’t worry from June 1, it won’t be as hot as everyone here writes, the water is warm, it’s just for children, it’s not stuffy, +38 is easily tolerated due to the dry climate, and at lunchtime even on the Black Sea it’s not recommended to lie on the beach, so don't worry, have a good rest!
