Island View or Royal Grand Sharm?

A family with two children 13 and 7 years old, everyone swims well, we want to see the wealth of the Red Sea in Sharm. Two hotels Royal Grand Sharm and Island View offer our budget. They also offered Nubian Village, but I want a 100 percent calm sea. Never been to Egypt. According to reviews in both hotels, the number of rooms is tired, there are nuances that spoil the vacation for impressionable people, I read both here and on tophotels. Both hotels are not very good, but of these two I would recommend Island, it has the best sea and I don’t remember bedbugs in the rooms ...;), well, there were definitely no rotten boiled eggs for breakfast in the island!

I was in the Island in October 2015. The rooms are a bit old, but you are going to admire the beauties of the Red Sea, and not wallow in the rooms. The bay is excellent, you can swim freely on the territory of neighboring beaches. Entry into the sea - a short pontoon. There was no wind, but in Nibk it blows all the time. Exit to Soho Square, in the evening it will not be boring. The food was quite decent. If I ever decide to go back to Egypt, I will try to go only to this bay.

Well, the rooms are not so dead that they could be compared with a tattered communal apartment))) in terms of sea and food, Island is objectively better! By the way, the rooms in the Royal Grande are also so-so (((.

I looked, I was offered 2 + 2 accommodation in the Island for a family of 4 people, in a standard room, and according to the description there are 2 separate beds and an extra one, as it would not be enough for us) The room is higher than the category, a different price tag, we catch May two days and it turns out not budget

Two beds are not very small beds;) - my wife and I slept on such a bed without much straining - the question, of course, is in the dimensions of the spouses;))) in Yegi, four of us can sleep on standard double beds))).

I am also for Island View, we rested in May 2016. Before that, we were in Sunrise Diamond Beach (Royal Grand Sharm's neighbor) - the reef in the Island is definitely better. Yes, the furniture in the rooms is not new, and repairs would not hurt. We lived in the Junior suite category, everything suited us. Look at Sunrise Diamond Beach if it suits the price, we really were before the crisis, the hotel seemed more modern than Island View.
