the reef wall is definitely richer in the Melia Sinai pontoon area, I won’t say for the rest, but there were more people in Siwa when looking from the sea on the beach (beginning of March 16)

Food and reef, promenade in Media Sinai - excellent. Heated pool right on the beach. The territory is relief - a small slope, greenery all around.

I don’t know how it is now in Siwa, we were at the end of January, then it’s definitely not suitable for 1.5 years.

I'm on the Melton Beach side. The reef is luxurious and the animation is great.

Definitely choose Melia. Everything will be better there than in Siwa.

There is nowhere to walk in Siwa. Especially with children. Of course Melton!

It is a pity that Melia Sinai was sold by the European owner to a local owner and therefore it is now called differently, but if you eat with children, then the choice is Melia Sinai (this is my first vacation in 2013) because there at least beti will be able to normally contact with by sea .. there is an ordinary completely sandy shore and children will be able to go into the sea at least 2-4 meters well, at least up to their knees (40-60cm) and it will be a joy for them .... in Siwa the whole coast is rocky! warning! entrance only by pantone ... but in general I would recommend you near Sharm itself - Continental Garden Reef Resort is an excellent hotel and there are two of them and the conditions for children are good for you and for the price category it is the same ..
good luck with your choice!
you can visit Siwa now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm2WXBm0x88

Continental is the best hotel on the reef in Sharm, but also the most "famous" for poor food, cleaning and service in its star category. I would not recommend this hotel for children. He is good who came to Egypt for snorkeling and turns a blind eye to the gaps in the staff. And there is practically no animation in the hotel.

“I don’t know, I don’t know ... everything is so delicious with you” - a joke.
In terms of nutrition - the same processed cheese and soy sausages; the conditions in the rooms are equally old and shabby; playground - keep silent; the reef is prettier in Melton.
I don’t understand this savings, a thousand dollars was found to move the body, and another 100 dollars is not enough (or a pity) for healthy food and new rooms?
