My friend had a similar situation (I once wrote about this) - she only filled her passport (old-style, not laminated) with perfume. She flew to Tai via Moscow (since we did not have charters). Russian border guards sniffed and smiled, the same thing happened in Tai (after the words "parfam"). We can hope that everything will be OK!

Oh, there is a similar question in the forum. The answers are different. As I already wrote there, my foreign border is wet. But Vnukovo released, and Domodedovo accepted last year. The issue arose only on the Lithuanian-Belarusian border. So, 50/50.
