The cost of the excursion (air flight) from Sharm to Jordan.
I really want to visit Petra, how much does an excursion there cost. By bus, probably far away, so we consider the plane. I know that it is closer from Taba, but I don’t want to rest in Taba in the winter. Who knows how much from Sharm, answer. Thank you.

you won’t get there by bus, since they (Jordan and Egypt) are separated by the Red Sea, excursions are only by ferry or air. The prices of tour operators range from 220-250, depending on who you take. you can go by yourself, from Sharm to Nuweiba by bus, from the bus station in Nuweiba to the sea station, go 10 minutes. There is a fast ferry and leaves, if I'm not mistaken, it takes 1 or 1.5 hours (slow 3). A round trip ticket is $ 80, and there are buses or taxis. Well, in general, people got $ 250 for 3 days (and one, with meals and hotel accommodation). They visited the Dead Sea, the site of the baptism of Jesus (Jordan River), and Jerash, and on Mount Moses, and in Petra, they went as much as they wanted, no one pushed them, they didn’t take them to custom-made shops ... In short, I’ll go myself like that ... don’t believe me, look in the net for all the reviews there ...

people, yes, the bus from Taba to Jordan does not go, there is a sea, then you have to go through Israel (look at the map), so no one carries, there is too much trouble ... there is only a ferry, and from Nuweiba ...

From Sharm by bus to Taba and then by ferry, we traveled like this in the spring, there are no planes from Sharm to Jordan!
And it costs about $250 + $15 Jordanian visa.

Dear Femina, This year I rested in Sharm and visited Petra, so I am reporting first-hand information. From Sharm to Taba is only 2 hours. The bus stops in Taba right next to the booth on the seafront at the entrance to the ferry. In the booth they take your passport and you go on the ferry. The whole procedure takes about 30 seconds. After an hour of ferry with a huge TV, free juices and easy chairs, you are already in Jordan! By plane, you will spend the same amount of time due to the tedious check-in procedures at the airport and at the same time pay a lot of money ... But there will be no point in this ..
