Who rested in Egypt in August? How is heat handled?
The travel agency assures that the weather is excellent, even cool in the evening, but after looking at the weather forecast and seeing + 45, I don’t really believe in the evening coolness. Please share your impressions!

Lord :-) Well, how is August carried in Africa? :-) Well, it's hot there, very much. Who can handle the heat. The humidity is low, it's easier to breathe, but the solar radiation is adequate. Protect the skin with creams (50, smear once an hour) and T-shirts. Or whatever you want :-)
About the coolness in the evening .. laughed. In the evening it will be +35 at best. And this was me from August 30 to September 6.
I would recommend choosing hotels in Egypt in summer as well as in winter: preferably a building (not a bungalow) in order to move around in an air-conditioned room so that the territory is not too large, and it is easier to get to the pool and the sea. To make the hall large for entertainment in the evening under air conditioning. No excursions in summer. Sea, swimming pool and air conditioning. Three whales for a summer holiday in Egypt :-)

Thanks for the feedback! Is there enough shade in the area?
аватар Viltis
Well, it depends on whose territory. In general, in Egypt, with vegetation .. well .. like in Africa :-) There are no forests and groves there, to put it mildly. The plants are all forcibly planted and forcibly watered. Of course there are few of them. Therefore, it is better to count on a multi-storey building with a large hall. Sheraton Maine is fine, Movenpick in Taba is fine too. Azur Citadel in Hurghada. Here is something like this.

Thank you! And if you choose according to climatic conditions between Turkey and Egypt, what would you advise?
аватар Viltis
I would advise Montenegro :-) I chose it myself.

Turkey is better between Turkey and Egypt. Kemer or Aegean coast.

And where exactly in Montenegro?
The Aegean coast is Hurghada?
аватар RBK2012
Aegean coast of Turkey. Dalaman or Marmaris. Pine mountains, clear sea. And the money will be cheaper than Montenegro. The heat is much easier to bear than in Antalya.

That's cheaper .. I would not say. In Montenegro, very cheap and plentiful food. And delicious. Montenegro cost us a couple of thousand hryvnias cheaper than Turkey's sister-in-law in Kemer. But we ate in cafes, restaurants and at home, and she is all-inclusive. The quality of food we had was higher .. of course, but it’s impossible to explain this to lovers of "all" :-) But again, it's up to the amateur. On the other hand, beer in Montenegro is more expensive than pizza or a hamburger (and hamburgers there are not like ours, but with chop or with homemade sausage). In general, food is a cult in Montenegro :-) Cheap and tasty. It’s just not worth taking hotels with meals there, well, for my taste. Food in hotels is always more expensive and much worse than in restaurants. Especially the "buffet", well, the buffet :-)

Thank you very much for such detailed answers! I feel that Egypt fell away by itself!

in vain everyone so criticized summer Egypt! The Arabs themselves go there and advise to go in the summer! We've been in July and August, and we've handled the heat quite well. although my mother suffers from periodically elevated blood pressure. BUT! knowing the precautions, for example, creams, shade under an umbrella and not swimming in the very heat (by the way, this is not welcome in Crimea either) and everything will go off with a bang! We eat this summer for the third time and do not doubt a single gram about it!
ps at the expense of excursions - why not take some sea! do not lock yourself in your room or reception, it is better to get the most out of your vacation!

I was in Sharm at the beginning of July. Yes, it's hot, but the heat is well tolerated. The daily routine was as follows: 7.00-11.00 beach, 11.00-13.00 rest in the room, 13.00-14.00 lunch, 14.00-17.00 beach. The sun was leaving the beach at 17.00. If you have no special contraindications to the sun and temperature, go boldly. If you suffer from frequent bouts of high blood pressure, then you should not. And the heat is better tolerated in Egypt because of the low humidity.

I live in Sharm, and I will say: we really had a hotter year than usual. But I, like all office workers in the world, have my legal day off - I look like a tourist during the winter, because all my skin is white!!!! So I come at 9 in the morning to the sea - I smear with cream abundantly and all day at sea! Before sunset! And it's not hot at all. And water .. just can not describe! Summer is the best time to swim! It's just that the water is so warm and there is practically no wind. And in Turkey it is also hot in summer, but the most unpleasant thing is that it is stuffy there - the air is humid. Although perhaps someone as endures. And do not think that I am trying to persuade Egypt (if only a little). In general, I wish you to find the country you are going to, good luck with your search!!! (P.S. By the end of August it will be easier with the temperature)
