Yes, I have.

And besides jellyfish, a bunch of poisonous living creatures swim there.
In no case should you touch the corals with your hands, do not take any shells, watch where you step.

Jellyfish are not everywhere and not always, it depends on the season. Yes, you can’t touch anything in the sea with your hands or feet! If you don't touch, they won't touch you.

Rested 6 years at three different resorts, never seen.

There are, but I practically didn’t see them, once in the summer I saw only 1 jellyfish.

once rested in late March-early April, in my opinion they had some kind of migration :) - the entire beach (in water and on sand) was strewn with them (Sharm El Sheikh)

In April we meet them in Sharm. The first 5 years they were also not seen, but now more and more often. In September, they seem to be absent, or we were so lucky.
Friends who were vacationing at the Sharma Hotel near the Old City said that they could not enter the water, there were so many of them. But they had a brushed beach from corrals, maybe that's why. We did not see a single fish, only tons of jellyfish and garbage in the water (bottles, cigarette butts, etc.).
We were more lucky, if we got jellyfish, then it was maybe 10 jellyfish per day and those are very small, transparent. The fish tried to eat them.
It's fun to watch when a formidable uncle with a pregnant belly takes off his slippers and starts to fish out a tiny jellyfish with disgust :))))))

In May of this year, there were a lot of jellyfish in Garden Bay. I swam between them, but there were no negative sensations. Jellyfish resemble those of the Black Sea in shape (like umbrellas), but much smaller. They are not poisonous.
Is that unpleasant when you touch them unexpectedly.
But almost every time during the bath, something burned quite painfully. And not jellyfish, they were not around (in general, there was nothing visible around). Unpleasant sensations usually lasted a couple of minutes, and then disappeared. There were no traces left. What it was I do not know.

I, too, sometimes burned something (not particularly painful), and there were no jellyfish nearby .. experts, tell me what it is?
аватар natamelni
Never suffered like this, thank God :)
I'll listen too.

Ltd! So I'm not the only one affected! I also went to Garden Bay. and something burned me quite strongly - even my knee crumpled. I'm surprised that no one was around. True, I swam on a coral slide and at that moment I felt pain, but the distance was decent ... miracles)))

I had the same thing in Taba, my friend and I were also suddenly burned by something in the water, we immediately jumped out on the beret, but I had the sense to ask the bartender on the beach. He said. that these are some small fish (I don’t remember what they are called), completely harmless, but they release a jet of a burning substance and thus protect themselves from others. The jet is quite long, the fish quickly swim away, so we don’t notice them.
