I was in early June and it was very hot. By the time we got to the beach, my legs were already on fire. the sun shone in the back. In general, summer is not for Egypt.

It is mandatory to take a sunscreen for the body with a factor of at least 20, and for a baby even higher, the African sun is ruthless.

It's hot, but the heat is much easier to bear than summer in Turkey, for example, there is no strong humidity ...

We were in June-July one day there was a super heat of 45C, and the humidity is acceptable, so everything is fine, the cream is naturally a factor of 20-25+, a bandana or a cap, glasses even in the pool. Well, about one recommendation light food do not eat a lot before going to the sea and in the evening ..

I am much more comfortable in July - August in Egypt, in a hotel on the beach, than in Turkey, in Alanya. The Aegean is also good in the heat. But in Alanya - all the time like in a sauna.
In June it is very good in Egypt, but if you go on excursions away from the sea, you will immediately feel that this is Africa.

I was 3 times at the end of June and beginning of July. Everything is in order much better than in Turkey during the same period, this is true. The only thing in the afternoon from 12-16 is not necessary to go out in the sun. go on long excursions, it will be hard. My husband and I were once in Sharm in August and went to Cairo, it's tough :) So, go calmly, especially since prices will be lower than in the season.

comfortable - even very much! I love Egypt in June!! It is even cold at night. She wore a windbreaker.

So compared Alanya and other regions of Turkey. In Turkey in August, you need to go either to the Aegean Sea or to Kemer, where there is greenery, not a desert in Alanya :)

Hello! We were in Egypt last year in late June early July. During the day, the temperature constantly keeps from +30 to +36. But due to the low humidity, the heat is very easy to bear. Go and don't be afraid of any heat, just remember to take a good sunscreen with a factor of at least +20 or +25, otherwise you will just burn out. Even if you buy a cream at +30, then don't worry, you will still get a great tan. Take glasses, a hat, it is advisable to swim in the sea in special coral slippers (they are fabric with a rubber sole) so that you can swim safely and are not afraid that your leg can be very scratched on coral reefs. They are sold at the hotel store for $5 no more.

It's not the same for everybody!!! There are people who are not comfortable even at +40=45! And there are people who + 25=30 are very comfortable! P.S. Everyone has their own body! But I want to rest! Tune in to OPTIMISM!!! Good luck!!!

In Egypt were in November, June and July.
The first time in mid-June went with caution. We thought we'd quit. But it turned out to be very comfortable! So, next year we purposefully went in the summer (in July) and specifically to Egypt. As already mentioned here, in Egypt the air is dry, so the heat is much easier to bear than in Turkey, for example. In Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast, it “floats” like in a bath. I don't like this air at all. And on the Aegean coast of Turkey, the air is comfortable, but the sea is cold (for a lover of invigorating water, which I am not). Even in Russia last summer it was less comfortable than in Egypt in July!
Yes, from 12:00 to 15:00 it is better not to be under the sun. But the rest of the time - nothing unpleasant! They themselves were surprised last year, how in Russia everyone toiled from stuffiness, and we felt great in Africa! When we returned to our homeland, we were convinced once again: we were lucky that this period was THERE. Completely different sensations (in Egypt it is much more comfortable).
And I confirm about excursion routes: in resorts near the sea - it's nice, but in Cairo or, especially, Luxor - uuuuh ... Hot wind in the face. Very dry and hot! Although, we went.

But in your question, the section "Sharm El Sheikh" is indicated. It's up to you, of course, where to go. But if you did not know, I will share the information: in Sharm at any time of the year it is 2-4 degrees hotter than in Hurghada. We went to Hurghada both times in the summer. Therefore, it is likely that in Sharm a little more heat is felt. If the “weather factor” is very important for you, think, maybe it makes sense to find a hotel in Hurghada? And by the way, in June in Egypt it is 1-2 degrees cooler than in July. July and August are the same temperature. On average, of course.
In general, we really like to go to Egypt in the summer! Although, in the UAE they would not risk it - when it's under 50 degrees - this is already too much. And in Hurghada in July it was: +36 during the day, +26 at night. Again, it is important that the humidity is such that it is tolerated very well.

Thank you all for such comprehensive replies. I didn’t consider Hurghada, because from our city they fly only to Sharm or Taba (as it appears in the search engine), and I think I’ll postpone excursions with two children, one of whom is 4, until they grow up.

tapa-sos, All people are different, June is still buzzing for me, and July is already baking, despite the fact that I live here all year round. About excursions - postpone the right decision until the child grows up, they will not go anywhere.

a year ago we rested in Sharm at the very beginning of June, we got 3 days of heat at +48-+49. But still this year we will go again to the beginning of June
аватар Krasotas
Wow! Well, I don't know how it is in Sharm...
It is stable in Hurghada: last year for 3 weeks in a row in July +36 during the day, +26 at night. No jumps!
And in the second half of June the summer before last, I don’t remember the exact temperature, but about +34 during the day, + 25 at night.
