Tell me who is resting in Sharm now, I have a question about the weather: is the wind blowing strongly and the sea is warm or is it already cold to swim (Naama and Sharks Bay are more interested)?

In December 2018, I was freezing in the sea in Naama Bay, now it’s definitely cold.
аватар Vika284
"the sea is warm or it's already cold to swim" - everyone has their own feeling of a warm and cold sea, there are those for whom +18 is the normal temperature of the water in the sea, and there are those who +24 is a warm sea and for whom there is +24 - a cold sea and + 26 cool sea
аватар OLA14
We were in Sharaks Bay in February 2020, it was warm and comfortable, although I’m cold)) This year we are also planning to go to Sharaks Bay at the end of February.
аватар zolyshka111
Vika284, the author asked a question - I answered.
OLA14, end of February and end of January - different times.
аватар pruffesor
The weather forecast will help you, it doesn’t happen year after year: in February 2020 it was much more comfortable than in April 2019 (from personal observations)
аватар zaeugene
The kids are back today. Were in Hadaba. Even though it was cold, we swam and sunbathed every day. There were windless days too. When the wind was blowing, it was certainly cool to get out of the water. Sea 23-24 degrees - warmer than outside :)
аватар YanaKaramel
Here is what he writes, the wind has definitely become stronger over the past week 21-25km / h blows away ((yes, in principle, January-February are the windiest and coldest months, in the morning and in the evening +18, it’s clear for someone it can be comfortable
аватар Vika284
zolyshka111 my answer was to the author of the question, and when they write cold or warm, I repeat for everyone the comfort of feeling warm and cold is different
That's why I will support the specific answers of zaeugene and YanaKaramel - let the author of the question decide whether it will be cold or warm

it’s strange that people without wetsuits climb into the water in such weather ... it’s like walking the streets without jackets in winter)

It is strange in Odessa in June people climb into the water without wetsuits at a water temperature of +20?
Everyone bathes when it suits them.

We just returned from Naama Bay yesterday. The bay, but it’s cold. The water is cold, very cold. The air is also cold, you can wear a sweater in the shade) there was only one time of medium strength. There was nothing to do there before the beginning of March. The water will not warm up
аватар ser_____Witness77
“It’s strange in Odessa in June people climb into the water without wetsuits at a water temperature of +20?” There’s nothing to see in the sea in Odessa - I floundered for 5 minutes and there’s nothing more to do there ... but in the Red Sea you need to swim for at least half an hour - interesting)

what about the underwater world? The question is about the weather) and for each the temperature of water and air is purely individual. The fact that it's cold for you and you need a wetsuit does not mean that everyone is like that)

I read the answers ... How different people's perception of temperature is. We have been in Sharm since November 19, I swim every day for an hour and a half in the morning (8-9 am) and an hour before sunset. With mask and snorkel, no wetsuit. And I’m fine so far, the water doesn’t feel cooler, or I’m just used to it. It has become colder since January 13, but for me the only thing that has changed is that it has become cold to get out of the water if there is wind, and it is almost always there. In the morning I dry quickly in the sun, before sunset I immediately wrap myself in a towel and go to my room to take a shower. Early in the morning and before sunset it is noticeably warmer in the water than in the air. I look at the people around (this is our fifth hotel in more than two months) - everyone bathes, some longer, some less. Mostly at 10-13 o'clock, when the sun is at its hottest. I don’t know what will happen next, but as long as the weather is comfortable for the sea, I swim without violence against myself)) after sunset, it’s already cold for the last week, I go to dinner in a fleece. But sleep at night is not stuffy, very comfortable.

On the Black Sea, +20C is warm water. In the Gulf of Aqaba, the water temperature does not fall below +20. You have focused on good bays, without windy ones.
Sharks Bay has a beautiful reef and small pontoons.

pruffesor, in 2019 we were at the end of February - it was more comfortable than in April 2018)) It depends on the place a lot. The most uncomfortable vacation in terms of cold was December 2018 Hurghada and 2019 Sharm (Albatross Aqua Blue in the bay that was), Charax Bay did not disappoint twice at the end of February 2019 and 2020.
аватар OLA14
2019 Sharm at Albatros in April was colder than 2019 at Charax Bay Hilton...

And in early January, 2 years ago, we flew to the blue bay oasis reef, although the girl warned us that this was not a bay and could blow through, photos from the Internet took over) in general, for 2 weeks the weather was gorgeous 26-28 hot and the sea was high, but two weeks later, 2 days before departure (mid-January), everything changed in the afternoon 20-22 wind and it’s not comfortable to leave the sea, well, it’s very cool in the evening and it blows to the bone with this frosty wind. In general, it is difficult to predict the weather, here in Kyiv two days ago it was -20, today +2 ...

The question is clear. Who is resting now and not two years ago and in Odessa. I am also interested in the sea is now warm? I have 27 flights
аватар OLA14
IgorKyiv, you did not understand anything)). Everyone has a different perception of temperature, in order for the sea to be warm by your standards, what temperature should it be?
аватар ser_____Witness77
the water was 24.2 C on the 21st ... but when you go out and go to the sunbed it’s cold = it’s advisable to wear a wetsuit (at least a short one) and it’s better with a helmet;)

How many times can you write that from December to March, as well as from June to September, there is nothing to do in Egypt - well, unless of course you want to die.
In the first case, you get cold - long live tuberculosis.
In the second case, it is very hot - death from a heart attack and stroke - this is your rest.
Do not be idiotic and go to Egypt just not in season. Those. October to November, and April to May.
Take care of yourself.
аватар OLA14
sk_lora, you probably rarely go to Egypt, and therefore you don’t understand what you are talking about, and as a result, there is a lack of knowledge in this area. Well, December in Sharaks Bay is warmer than March in Nabq)
аватар YanaKaramel
And I flew for 7 years in July, without strokes)))) well, May, October-November, how it was possible to escape from work, in the summer in Egypt it is easier than in Kyiv when it is +25, there is no humidity, as a result of which the heat is tolerated much calmer
аватар Vika284
sk_lora do you really think that you can get tuberculosis of the Egyptian wind in winter or strokes only happen in hot summers?
аватар Vika284
I will add YanaKaramel, for example, in Delta Sharm and Santer, our tourists with families with children rent housing for the summer months and live there all summer. Indeed, the climate is dry in Sharm and the heat is easier to bear.
And if everyone from the cold wind fell ill with tuberculosis and all those prone to CVD after sunbathing got a stroke and heart attack, then the population of the earth would be significantly reduced
аватар sk_lora
For YanaKaramel
For Vika284
For OLA14
Well, firstly, I have been vacationing in Egypt (mainly in Sharm, although there was also the western shore of the bay) for the last 8-10 years. 1-2 times a year.
and every time I hear - why is it so hot in Sharm in summer. So that's why it's hot because it's +40...45'C.
Well, why are sandstorms and cold in February. Yes, that's why the storms are that February and the temperature is 21-23 C, and sometimes 18 degrees.
Yes, because the layout is like this. And you know all this well, but how do travel agents lure tourists to rest in absolutely unsuitable for recreation climatic conditions. Chistogan is worth more.
I repeat once again: from December to March - this is pneumonia turning into tuberculosis. And from June to September - this is a heat stroke turning into a heart attack and a stroke.
Welcome to Egypt in the off season.
You will come here next year. This one is for travel agents. Well, so as not to carry nonsense.
аватар YanaKaramel
sk_lora Thank you very much for bringing me to travel agents, I’ll tell you a secret my position is different) they don’t pay so much there - in the travel industry, this time
Further in Egypt, due to my activities and unforeseen vacation, I emphasize, earlier 2-3 times a year, again, when I could escape for a week, I immediately flew so as not to lose a day there and a day back to distant countries. And having flown away for 15-16 years even then with the eldest daughter, there was no tuberculosis and other heresy, now we are flying with the youngest.
And thirdly, tuberculosis is an infectious disease, for those who are not in the know and do not understand diagnoses well, but pushes them everywhere)

By the way, I’ve been to Tunisia from a nearby location, where this smell is killing me (they do thalassotherapy from these algae that are all over the coast), but let’s say my friends really like it there, I don’t know if they fly now, and there are also many places in Turkey, and fly there faster, of course, it’s not a fact that the transfer will also be fast, Charm wins in this, and for me personally, the main disadvantage of Turkey is humidity, by the way, it’s the same as in Kyiv, so 40 sweats come off at +28, in charm at +38 I calmly drink latte and swim in the sea, so the choice is obvious for me and my family personally. By the way, we are looking at the apartments there, I already fell in love with him so much, so I can invite you to visit for your stroke))))
аватар grabarchuk1983
YanaKaramel agree with you. I was in charm in July, it was probably +50, 2 times for the new year in Hurghada, both times the weather is different, both cool and hot. I was in Tunisia in June, but the humidity, things did not dry well on the balcony. And a wig. How, in my opinion, it was easier in Sharm at + 45-50, but it’s like for me, someone easily tolerates heat, someone doesn’t., everything is purely individual)
