Tell us what are the main pros and cons!
We are going to Egi for the first time, personally I am very skeptical, so I want to know the most objective assessment about the hotel, without any: "Tune in for the best", "like it for the first time", etc.!

And yet, is there a place to take a walk in the evening, what is the program for the evening? Buy fruits, souvenirs is where nearby?

Have you already bought a tour?

If you are so disposed, then the most objective assessment of the hotel will be only yours, and evaluate everything yourself.
And do not expect that in a 4 * hotel you will have apartments of an Arab sheikh and all the staff will fulfill your every desire with a wave of your hand.

Pysya, tune in for the worst, so as not to be disappointed!

So resting is always better than working, although working is also not bad. Now I would gladly give up on the fish to look at and swim in the sea! I knew it." Everything will be OK :) Show me the person who visited Egypt and said that he would never go there again?
аватар Viltis
Well .. it's probably me :-) I'm not going. Well, at least five years. I have been there many times. And I'm not going to anymore.
аватар NataSt66
Viltis, you have been there MANY TIMES, so you don’t want to go anymore, I meant the desire to go a second time after the first stay :-))). Of course, there are so many places in the world where you still want to visit :-)

I was with my family in November last year. I liked everything. We are going there again this year!!

The second line, 500 meters from the sea, around the desert, all shops are only by taxi. The hotel is cheerful, especially in the evening. Buses often go to the beach, the beach of the Melia Sinai hotel, the corals are super. On this beach, a shark bit a man. There is a kilometer-long promenade along the beach towards the Baron, there are also shops. The beach has its own bar and shower.

Perhaps the answer is no longer relevant, but I'm just the person who was in Yegi 1 time and doesn't want to go there anymore. And I'm not the only one, there are many of us, especially women.
For 2 weeks, I saw most of the historical sights, but nothing else draws me there. It strains the need to control yourself 24 hours a day, so as not to inadvertently smile at someone. Arabs seem to perceive this as a willingness to surrender. And most of them do not flirt, namely pester. The presence of a man next to you does not really hold them back. Plus, constant control over things, they are ready to throw money at you always and everywhere, and smiling sweetly. I was told that in hotels with European management they behave decently, but somehow I don’t want to check. I don’t know how your wife (or girlfriend) feels about this, maybe she is flattered by attention, but just in case, stay close to her in the crowd, and don’t leave her alone with the locals (few women later admit to their husband that she, sorry, squeezed).

How up-to-date! It’s just that many don’t even want to imagine that somewhere else there may be a different mentality! In Egypt, people are very simple, open and kind! Yes, they are very intrusive, emotional, but if you treat them with respect and humor, then I personally never had any problems! business, and there are a lot of such examples !!! My daughter was also shocked by excessive attention, but with normal behavior, there was never a problem.

I completely agree with serevka, the mentality must be taken into account in all countries, not only in Egypt, I was personally conquered by the SEA there, and plus, of course, you can have a good rest for relatively little money. And you need to look after everything and be careful not only in Egypt.

I visited 7 countries as a tourist, three of them are Muslim, and if in Tunisia and Turkey people really seemed simple to me, then in Egypt they are primitively shameless. Nowhere else did people who worked at the hotel throw me, taking money for unprovided services. Nowhere else was I physically touched without my permission. Nowhere else have I felt so defenseless. With all this, I behaved kindly, I went out of the hotel in closed clothes (i.e. closed legs + long sleeves).
And here is the paradox - I go shopping, they sell me a T-shirt, we smile sweetly at each other, they give me a couple of kopecks. In the evening I go with friends, we have a noisy run, we look at the same T-shirts in the "fu-fu" style, they don’t recognize me, they immediately promise a price for the same T-shirt 2 times lower. Conclusion - if you communicate in the style of "fu-fu", they begin to respect you, they reckon with you, if you smile sweetly and kindly - you are a sucker.

A person asked about the pros and cons of the hotel, and you.....
Not tired?
аватар honeysun
If you tell me - then the question is not on the merits. Cons should be outlined at least in order to avoid problems. There are enough exalted ladies in Egypt, as well as in all resort places, even forums on 3 * vipers are inundated with rave reviews. But if the approach to the trip is a little different - not only they need to be heard.
If the guys are lucky and in the end they will receive only pluses - well, we will all be happy for them.
аватар NataSt66
People like honeysun don’t get bored, she has a different approach to everything, she knows everything, she’s always right and her glass is always half empty, and for her, for some reason, someone who got into a 3 * viper is no longer people. It’s unpleasant to communicate, yes and I will not.
аватар honeysun
Pysya, dear, I do not claim to know everything. I did not get into the discussion while they were discussing the hotel itself - I was not in this hotel. But when you began to categorically declare - that Egypt cannot but be loved forever - I answer you that it is possible.
By the way, you read my reviews about hotels - they are always objective, and rather positive than enthusiastic, admiring.
"someone for some reason got into a 3 * viper - they are no longer people" - where did I say this? Can I quote?
By the way, has anyone ever told you that your nickname is read indecently according to the rules of transliteration?
аватар NataSt66
Dear honeysun, you are still oh so far from the gentle sun, see everything else above. In life, not everything corresponds to the rules of transliteration. Wanting to go to the sea in Egypt a second time does not mean falling in love forever :))
