This hotel was found by another operator, but it was $500 more expensive, so we put up with it.
Upon departure from the hotel, we were picked up at 14:00, the room was extended for $ 25 without any problems.
We had Superior Sea View.
It turned out that the best rooms fall into this category, this is a row of bungalows for three rooms along the sea line. These are rooms 12 ** The room in the center is the largest - 50 meters of area with a domed ceiling 4 meters high, the outer rooms are smaller and only one of them has a double bed. We lived in room 1230, and friends in room 1233.1233 is probably the best room in the hotel - two steps and you are on the beach. Standard rooms are small and you can get into remote rooms, although almost all rooms have windows overlooking the sea.

And the price difference between Sea View and Superior Sea View is only $100. It's worth it.
Previously, the hotel was called Kalimera, there were almost only Italians.
The staff did not notice any difference in attitude towards tourists of different nationalities.
Half of the hotel is Italians - they are gypsies, they yell no less than our Slavic brothers.

The Italians have their own animation, the rest have their own) There are even two amphitheatres. Animation is not intrusive and mostly near the main pool. There is also a relax pool where children are not allowed and there is no animation. There are no children's slides anywhere.
The food is tolerable, as in many hotels. Of all the desserts, I liked only three cakes. Meat is a good choice, fish not so much. Fruits were - oranges, figs, dates, bananas, pears, apples, watermelon, melon, peaches, plums, physalis. Cleaning in the restaurant is not good, this is a weak point. But for $2-5 a day, your chosen waiter will work wonders.
If you don’t give money, then you can go for drinks yourself and not wait until the waiter brings it.
Our people constantly create an incomprehensible line near the main dishes, like in canteens, where everyone goes in a row along all the dishes in a row) Although you can really not stand in line, but choose something from those dishes near which there is no one.
There are a lot of date palms on the territory, you can pick fruits. Really very tasty.
The rooms were cleaned well, miracles from towels for a dollar every couple of days are guaranteed.
Friends also gave the cleaner a pack of cigarettes a day, and when leaving they forgot the gold chain in the safe, so the cleaner rushed to the reception, caught up with the departing bus, and returned the chain with a smile.

Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel, downloads 80 kilobytes per second. At the reception they sell cards, unlimited for a week costs $ 70, there are cards for a day and two. Only one session is possible under one login. in short, you won’t enter from your phone and laptop at the same time) By the way, for iPhone owners, you can buy an iPhone card only at the Vodafone store if you have a passport, if you take it from souvenir shops, they don’t work) The official reseller uses its monopoly)
There are a couple of shops in front of the main entrance, and the large Il Mercato market is within walking distance. The road to it is uneventful, 300 meters. The choice is no worse than in Naama Bay, the prices are lower and almost no one bothers, much calmer.
There is a spa center, a gym, although we did not go there.
Walk along the beach and rejuvenate on excursions and spa treatments.
Young people are not very sticky, and if you take a red rag and tie it on an umbrella at the issuance of towels, then they don’t stick at all.
We took a diving excursion at the local diving center Pyramids Diving.
We swam in Ras Mohamed, also dived near a couple of hotels near the exit from the port. It cost $70, I liked everything.
People managed to travel to Israel, some didn’t make it, at that time there were troubles at the border, their bus was simply turned around, money was returned, and others were captured by some Arabs with machine guns, held for 5 hours and released)
The hotel area does not seem to be dirty, but there are jokes. For example, we saw a bottle in one place for three days in a row, no one stupidly removed it, although it lay three meters from the urn, which was emptied every day.
Insects were poisoned every day.
Bushes and grass were cut once for 11 nights.
There are several beaches, only one with a pontoon, on the second one you can go into the sea along a carved coral path.
There is sometimes a crowd on the pontoon, although I don’t understand people who just sit on it for hours. For such a paradise on the neighboring pontoon of the Ritz Carlton hotel, there is never anyone there, though it’s 500 meters to swim to it, but no one kicked us out of there.
The hotel, in principle, was chosen based on reviews about the sea and the reef. Everyone writes that the reef is super. I wouldn't call it that. Melia Sinai, Royal Rodjane and Al Fanar have better reefs.

This hotel has discovered a nuance. The shoreline was located so that the reef was lit by the sun only until 12 noon, then the sun sank and the entire reef was in shade. And that's it, the buzz is lost, you can't really see anything where all the most interesting things are.
Although there were many beautiful soft corals, turtle, stingrays, lionfish, moray eels, huge tuna, few clown fish.

In a word, you can relax normally if you want to see the good and not make a problem out of minor flaws.
However, I think that this principle applies to all hotels in Egypt.
