I always wanted to go to Sharm el-Sheikh, which is famous for its beautiful coral reef and inexpensive holidays in hotels with quality All inclusive service. Before that, there were many trips to Turkey, Montenegro, Italy and once to Hurghada. Our choice was at the Sunrise Diamond Beach 5 * hotel. As they say "price - quality" and almost one hundred percent positive feedback. The tour was taken from December 1.2018 for 7 nights.
Our flight was from Odessa. We flew from the tour operator Aneks-Tour, Azur Air. For $ 10 per person, we were provided with a transfer Nikolaev-Odessa-Nikolaev. There are no complaints about the transfer. Everything is right on time. The driver is well done, he was not carrying firewood, but people. I also liked the air carrier, the flight was on time, the plane was in excellent condition. Unfortunately, they did not feed on the plane, but this seems to be not practiced anywhere now, only for an additional fee. And so, tea, coffee, water - take as much as you want.
Arriving in Sharm El Sheikh, having passed all the controls without any fuss, we got on the bus and went to our hotel. It turned out to be the last one, so we drove for about an hour, although the hotel is 20 km from the airport. The weather was almost always stable. During the day, the air is +25 in the shade, at night +15 +20. There were windy days, and there were almost windless ones. Once a cloud flew in and managed to pour five minutes of rain on us. Nonsense! In the sea, the water temperature has always been a constant +25 degrees.

And here we are at the hotel. We were three adults and a 10 year old child. We bought one standard room to make it cheaper. But there was a glimmer of hope that upon arrival we would be able to pay extra and settle in a two-room family room. And what was our amazement when, to a request to provide such a number, we were given a positive answer and without any additional payment. This was a huge plus for the hotel! But still, my conscience tormented me, and $ 20 was invested in my passport. For the meeting I put the hotel 5 plus.
The room is great in size! 65 sq. m, 2 rooms. In one room there are two beds, a sofa, 2 armchairs, a table, a TV set, a minibar (water and gas drinks), a kettle with tea and coffee, a luggage rack, an air conditioner. The second room has a large double bed, bedside tables, air conditioning, a table, but no TV. From each room there is access to a common spacious loggia, on which there is a table and two chairs. The rooms are separated by a corridor with two large built-in wardrobes with a safe and a door to the bathroom. The bathroom is divided into two parts: a toilet with a bidet, a washbasin with a hair dryer and a room with a shower. Our room was overlooking the family pool. Very beautiful and quite calm. Were in the room and shortcomings, but not critical. It can be seen that the furniture is already tired, but still in good condition. The biggest drawback is the small number of outlets. Our maid was lazy, only for 1 dollar he cleaned well and changed everything, but it didn’t really bother us. For the number I put 5 with a minus.
The territory of the hotel is large, very green and blooming. Made in the form of cascades, there is even a waterfall. The landscape is well looked after. Well done. Everything is tastefully done. On the territory of 4 swimming pools. The main one is the largest. It is closer to the sea. Unfortunately not heated in winter. But in vain, he would have well unloaded the beach by the sea. Near this pool, all daytime animation activities take place. The second pool is a family one. It's heated. After dinner, it comes alive with a large number of people. The third pool is relaxation. Children are not allowed there, there is peace and quiet. The fourth pool is a water park. Unfortunately, the water heater broke down, and the pool was practically deserted, although it worked as usual. Near each pool there is a bar with various drinks. There is also a beach bar. There, in addition to drinks, you can eat fast food: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, vegetables, fruits and ice cream. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation of the rooms. But it doesn't bother. For the territory I put 5 with a minus. Minus - only because of the lack of water heating in the water park.
The beach by the sea consists of several terraces, sun loungers, in principle, there are enough places for everyone. The beach is sandy. The entrance to the sea is sand. You can safely enter without special shoes. A pontoon 65 meters long with railings enters the sea. The water is crystal clear, the reef is wonderful, the fish are diverse and friendly. Once a fish swam about 1.5 meters long. Tuna probably. On the beach there is a booth with towels, you can always change for new ones. There are also such booths near the pools, which is very convenient. For the beach I put a solid five.

What was even more pleasantly surprised, on the first day we were offered a free massage at the SPA. Worked very well. Of course, they offered further massage sessions for money, but they didn’t really insist. In general, the entire hotel staff is very friendly and always goes to meet. For example, the safe in our room was accidentally blocked, they called the reception, and after 10 minutes the workers came and unlocked the safe. To the question "how much money? " followed by the answer "everything is free for you. " The waiters and bartenders try very hard, and at the same time they love to joke. I give 5 for the staff.
The food was very pleasantly surprised by its variety. The hotel has four restaurants. The main Italian and two a la carte restaurants - Indian and Oriental. The main restaurant has a very large selection of different dishes. Vegetables, salads, cheeses, soups, many meat dishes, fish, seafood, sushi, fruits, sweets. There was always something new. There was enough space for everyone. There was always a big table for our big company. But sweets are still tastier and more varied in Turkey, but there are no questions about other dishes. Chefs try very hard to surprise. For breakfast they gave melon fresh juice for free. There is even a diet menu. So for every taste you can find something to eat. For food I put five with a plus.
Animation did not worry us much, but it is clear that the guys are working. Gymnastics, yoga, belly dance, darts, bokeh, volleyball, water polo. In the evening in the amphitheater there is a children's disco, and then an evening show. Everything is on the level. I give five.
There are various shops on the territory of the hotel, but the prices are naturally overpriced there. A little walk away from the hotel and you get to the market with many shops. Must buy mango. This is one of the most delicious fruits. The cost is from 2 to 3$ per 1 kg. And if you walk even further or take a taxi, you will find yourself in the old city. Delicious shrimp can be bought for $ 10 per kg, they can also be cooked or grilled there. There is a huge beautiful mosque in the old city. In general, there is a walk outside the hotel.
Sunrise Diamond Beach 5 * is the hotel you want to return to. And when they make repairs in all the rooms and turn on the heating of the water park, it will be generally super. This hotel is not ashamed to give five stars.
